Y Road General Store

We've been coming here for many years during lake season and it keeps getting better. The gas is typically priced better than anywhere, great selection of snacks, deli pizza is perfect. Love stopping early in the AM for a biscuit and egg sandwich. The twice baked potatoes are great and we've bought the steaks a number of times. The staff are always super-friendly.

Great little store. Their twice baked potatoes are a regular purchase. Competitive gas prices. Friendly staff!!! I was in a couple days ago and sadly encountered rude people who clearly were not from here. Have to hand it to the guy behind the counter who kept a positive attitude and was kind and professional. Too bad the same couldn’t be said for the customer whose attitude just made them look foolish. I have lived here twenty years and Y Store has only gotten better!

This is such a little gem of a country store. My husband grew up coming to the lake and this store is one of his favorites. The homemade goodies are incredible, and the pizza is so good! They are stocked with a great selection of ready made meals and appetizers as well as drinks and beer. Very friendly staff and can’t eat enough good things about them!

The deli here is great! The pizza is one of my favorites from the deli. The sauce is handmade and cheese shredded daily. Nice selection of wine, liquor and beer for most budgets. The new bakery items are amazing. The carrot cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, and fruit pie cookies will compete with most restaurants at The Lake of Ozarks.

This is the best Gas Station in Missouri. I come to the Lake just to go this store. The owners are awesome and so are the employees. My favorite employee is that redhead he is just so funny and nice. He deserves a raise for his awesome job. The store also has the best pizza I have ever ate in my life!!! This store should on anyone’s trip list

Such a friendly store with GREAT food! From their pizza (yumminess) to their stuffed jalapeños and everything in between! The bonus part...customers are all friendly like the local owned stores back in the day! Conversations at the deli counter, people sitting outside at picnic tables...love it! Oh, and they have all those things you need but forgot like coffee creamer (thank you Jesus) sour cream and fresh deli sandwiches!

5 years ago they had some steaks in the window for sale and they got grilled and ate at the lake house my best friend was renting at the time. 5 years later I still tell everyone I haven’t had a better steak since. What a country gem.

June 2015... So happy to see the Y-Store is back open under new ownership. Looking forward to stopping in for cold beer, and good eats. The Y-Store has always provided everything we need for a weekend at the lake. Good luck and see you again soon!

Cute little store off the beaten path. I don’t think there’s much else down here unless you live here. I only found it because AAA said they had the cheapest gas!
Has a good selection of beer and beverages, your usual snacks. No outside payment for fuel though, just FYI

The guy there was top-of-the-line. Knew where everything was at, was quick, professional, kind, and really seemed to appreciate my business. On top of that, the store seemed jam-packed with all sorts of interesting products while keeping it simple enough to not overwhelm. Hope this place does well!

This place has the best pizza for the cheapest price at the lake. And on top of that they provide even better service.

We are right down the road in Twin Valley loop. The staff are incredible, the store is immaculately clean, the food is phenomenal and we couldn’t be more thankful to have this store and the family that own it. Thank you!!
