Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks

I’ve stayed here three times and have been pleased each time. The buildings are in need of some remodeling/updating (hence the 4star), but the rooms are always well-serviced and smell fresh. The service is *excellent* and there are many family-friendly activities. Definitely a great vacation spot that is not-too-terribly expensive for the average family. Be aware that water park admission is SEPARATE from hotel booking. You don’t get passes as a hotel guest, unfortunately—I missed the memo on that and was surprised with a $80 price tag for all of mine to swim.

I love this resort. Everyone is friendly and willing to help when needed. Rooms are always clean and comfortable.

The bartenders know how to make a pretty good Old Fashioned. They have an excellent selection of Bourbon as well.

I’ve stayed here many times but this was my first time staying in the suites. Great space just for me. They checked in on me via text to make sure everything was okay. Nice room and bathroom. Beautiful site and good location. Water is pretty and lots of cool things to do.

This is a really nice place however it's a bit dated. Don't let that scare you away, everything is very clean and many parts have been updated. Service and food have been outstanding. You can spend several days here and never leave the resort if you don't want to. I highly recommend it!

The food, pool, and alcohol are fine. I'm giving this five stars because of the employees they have working the dock. I hope the management of this resort realizes how amazing their employees are out there. The way they spring to action, how helpful they are, moving from boat to boat, guiding them into the slip for people who just rented it and have no idea what the hell they're doing. I was thoroughly impressed by them.

Hospitality was above normal. Food was very good and reasonably priced. I sample 'mushroom-swiss burgers' from around the country and the one I was served at "L2Chill Grill" is the best I have ever eaten!

Absolutely love this establishment, the staff are all helpful and nice. The pools are fun don't hang in the slip n pee pool, but the other one is awesome. Great family experience for everyone. It's a resort so bring money, but it's not the most expensive I've been around which was nice this year.

We had a great time here! We don't have young children but there are so many fun things to do if you do. I am considering coming back with my grand daughter!

Exceptional destination for all sorts of activities. We recently had a family reunion and chose this spot for lunch and fun! Everyone there was so pleasant and that made our time there exceptional

Outstanding stay! Room was updated and super clean. Staff was top notch! Every restaurant we dined in, which was pretty much all of them, was delicious! We will certainly be back. Oh! And the spa was fabulous!

Margaritaville did a good job coming in and cleaning up the place. This is a kids first resort with nice amenities for adults. I would not recommend this resort if you don't have kids. The resort has stuff for all kid ages.

Rooms are nice for the price but they are not luxury.

This was our first stay at Margaritaville Ozarks and we couldn't recommend it more. Everything from check in to checkout was absolutely fantastic and the staff and service are excellent. The rooms are nicely remodeled, clean, quiet and comfortable. The pools, other amenities and activities at the resort are also fantastic and offer a great variety. Lastly, the views of the lake are stunning. We'll be back first chance we get!!

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice now and will always plan to stay here when visiting in the future. The staff is amazing - so friendly and helpful! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Plenty to do on site. Couldn't ask for more!

Girl's weekend every fall and have been visiting the spa for the past 3 years. They are very professional and I have enjoyed the massage every year.

I had been to the resort many times when it was still Tantara. I loved all the amenities but the facility was outdated and a little dark and dingy. Coming back this time for a conference I was excited to see the updates. They have made many improvements and everything is much brighter! I was glad to see that a lot of the things I had loved before were still there! I also really enjoy the views from different areas around the property. The indoor pool and hot tub are my favorite things, especially in the cooler months. There were some areas in my room that could still have used some attention. There some areas that looked like there was water damaged and they were just kind of painted over. Also the shower head was really low and I'm a short person. One thing the room was really lacking was a microwave. Overall my room was great and the bed was super comfy! The conference I attended was great and there was plenty of rooms to conduct it in. Service was great and everyone was very kind and helpful! Can't wait to go back again!

We stayed in a lovely connecting room with 2 kings and a pull out sofa (queen). The price was amazing and the service was great and speedy when we asked for another set of linens. Rooms are remodeled. The Adirondack chairs on the lanai are a nice added touch. Buffet breakfast is expensive with a few items only. But the food is delicious. Our only complaint is there weren't enough trash cans in the room.

Stayed here for a conference the front desk staff was amazing upon check-in so was the concierge they made the stay worthwhile just by going the extra mile for us and being so kind and helpful in Every Which Way even ways we didn't ask them to would definitely go back

We loved this place. The night clerk was amazing and we have booked my husband’s birthday here.

Outstanding mini community. The pools are fantastic. The resort has a pizzeria, bowling, spa hair & nail, book before your stay!!, free towels for guests, nice rooms, friendly staff, Landmark bar & restaurant. Perfect for family or romantic sumner get-away.
