Town Tavern

I’m from Ohio and was brought here twice by family. Both times I was blown away by the quality of food and the service. The servers are people that not only remember your name, but your drink. The food was better than homemade. I had the special of the day, and couldn’t believe the chef made the sauces IN HOUSE. Those sauces could be franchised. I can’t wait to go to Missouri, and to have their fried mushrooms again. Best tavern yet.

I really needed a drink, I hadn't had one in over 25 years. I'm a full time caretaker and was So Stressed. The Town Tavern was Peaceful and my drink was Great. Thanks for having a Great place to go.

Old school tavern, like stepping back in time when you could still smoke in a bar!
Good bar food, daily specials 👌 and 1/2 price happy hour drinks.

VERY interesting people at this bar and grill. If the walls could talk, I'd be listening. Lol

Food was fantastic! I ordered a cheese pizza and my fiance ordered a burger.

Love it! Great pizza. Hometown feel. First time in on a whim, drove down from Union, MO. Everyone was friendly. Great prices. We had a blast on a Thursday night. We will definitely be back soon!

oh my gosh let me tell you..... if you haven't been here yet you better hit "directions" on your maps and get there asap and order their pizza...it doesn't matter which one because they are ALL AMAZING! This place is family friendly and just a great time! The owners and staff are wonderful! We love coming here and will always be a favorite for our family!

Great food, great atmosphere! Owners pour their heart into this place. Employees provide great service and the pizza is amazing.

Excellent local tavern. The people are so friendly, prices are great & the burgers are yummy. The fried mushrooms are fabulous, a must try. They make their own. When in Bourbon a must stop in & say hi.

Town Tavern has seen many owners. It was originally open 1933. Teresa just opened it up this summer after a facelift
It has a nice family atmosphere. And the food is really great. If you haven't been to Town Tavern you are missing something good.

My buddy took me here to eat after a fishing trip. It’s our new favorite place to eat. Food is fantastic, prices are great, and customer service is outstanding! Very friendly place to eat, reminds me of eating at home!

Food is always delicious, our favorite night to go is Thursdays, special is chicken fried steak, gravy, and REAL mashed potatoes. And awesome green beans. And the service is great, and very friendly.

Great place! Locally owned and operated! Great service and the food was good too! It looks like a house but is a quaint little bar and grill! They had keno, and scratchers, and you could even buy firewood there! Check it out if your local or if you are an out of towner! There is a a place to camp and float the river nearby, so it worked out perfectly!
