Crab Shack Seafood Market/Restaurant Brigantine

My husband and I made a detour to the Crab Shack on our way to New York. We wanted to find a fresh Lobster roll before we left town. This place is an absolute gem! We started with the crab gumbo and the clam chowder, you could definitely tell they were homemade. The owner was very helpful with my gluten allergy too. We ordered the cold lobster roll and the hot one to try both. They were both amazing, the lobster was fresh, tender and well seasoned.
Everything was perfect, highly recommend! :)

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s as good as it’s always been. My routine when coming to Brigantine includes stopping here to grab lunch so I can bring it onto the beach.
The hot lobster rolls are so consistently good and I haven’t had better anywhere else. They are super meaty and flavorful and come with a side of fries and coleslaw—for the ~$26 price tag, I’d say I get my money’s worth. The service is top notch. 0 complaints, all praises

If I could give a rating of 10 stars, I would. My wife and I stopped in close to closing time on a Thursday (not realizing the time) and the staff were so professional and kind. They were helpful with suggestions and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was crazy delicious. All seafood, no filler. We have officially found our favorite seafood spot in Brigantine.

Drove down for my birthday and mother's day. Spent time on beach and went to the always awesome lobster roll. I had cold, wife had hot.
Both awesome and loaded with lobster. Not cheap, but quality isn't cheap.

On July 26th, 2017 we stopped at the Crab Shack in Brigantine for a late lunch. It was around 3 pm and nobody else was there.

We arrived as a large group of about 8 and yet service was fast. We ordered a variety of menu items, most of them fried, all of it delicious.

It's outdoor seating only. About four or five tables and benches. Should be enough seating even during a busy lunch rush.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Crab Shack and will be back on our next trip to Brigantine.

Some of the best seafood I've had in NJ. I've been coming here for a little while now. I first discovered this gem while staying at Harrah's resort and casino. Both the food and the staff are great! The owner is a cool dude. I highly recommend for anyone looking for great seafood at a fair price. I ate the calamari before I took the picture lol

The best seafood place you can find on the island of Brigantine! The staff were extremely accommodating for our large order of 19 people and were able to get everything correct!! This place is a must to eat at if you like any type of seafood on the market and more! 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 FOOD and SERVICE!

I got take out but there is a nice outdoor seating area if you want to stay and eat. There is good sized parking lot.
There are plenty of seafood options to choose from, I got the lobster roll which was delicious! The staff were my "kind" of people so I was quite happy with the service.

Ordered 16 crab cakes for my party of 8 and the guy in the room next door was like "somebody say crab cakes? How many you want, I'm making em fresh". Dude gave me the nod 7 mins later and I snatched them up, threw em on the grill within 4 minutes and nailed the cook. Everyone was complimenting the cakes, no condiments needed. 5/5🫶

Seafood fresh and delicious! Called in order and we ate outside at cafe tables. We had the captains seafood combination which was flounder, 3 jumbo shrimp, sea scallops and a crab cake, a d the crab stuffed flounder...both with fries and cole slaw both broiled. It was fantastic seafood at its best! Thank you Crab Shack!!!🙌🏽

This place is bomb. Seafood is all fresh and delicious. Shrimp were huge! Great vibe with the outdoor seating. BYOB also a plus. Will be back.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. This has to be the best seafood takeout place I have EvER been to… great food and fair prices. The Captain’s Seafood Platter was amazing!! The lobster roll was huge! The shrimp are jumbo! What a great place.

Not much of a seafood person but I brought my friends from out of state and they raved about both the hot and cold lobster rolls here. I got a chance to try their bbq pulled pork and it was very good. The owner was also very friendly.

My wife and I ate here on Father's day. A little over an hour wait for our food and we were warned. So worth the wait! Some of the freshest fried seafood ever. The place doesn't look like much but you won't be disappointed with the quality of the food.

I’ve been coming her for several years, during my summer vacations in Brigantine. I can rely on the delicious seafood from this restaurant to serve as a treat and reward for myself. I really enjoy the fried scallops, lobster roll and shrimp cocktails.

Last year, I dined here with my nephew, who was thrilled with the food, and said it was the best salmon he ever had.

I visited twice this week. As usual, I was impressed with the food, but I’d also like to note how kind, considerate, accommodating and friendly the manager Pete was to me. Rocco, the cashier, who took my order, was also kind and friendly. I appreciate this establishment and I highly recommend it.

There food was super good! Staff was over the top friendly and we loved the outdoor seating! It was great we will be back

With limited restaurant
choices at Brigantine, we’ve been opting on buying fresh fish and eating in on some nights. Fresh fish of the day does not disappoint, great crab cakes too - no fillers, love the fish gumbo soup. It is pricey but great quality and worth it.

DEE-LISH Baby!! So good and fresh. I had the fried flounder platter with fries and coleslaw. YUMMY 😋 Whenever I'm in town, this place is a staple and must visit. Just know that everyone else loves it too. Be prepared to wait...it's soooo worth it! Thank me later 😉

Our family had a lovey Tuesday evening dinner! The food was delicious, hot and served quickly. We enjoyed chatting with the generous and kind owner. Will definitely visit again!

The crab shack NEVER fails me. Highly recommend the tuna sandwich, it’ll blow your mind. Great staff, always presenting with a smile.
