Bella Luna

I was not sure what to expect, as I had never been to Bella Luna. They have usually been closed when I've passed by. I went in for takeout. The lovely young ladies working were polite. I ordered beef empanadas and grilled jalapeños. I waited for about 10 minutes for my order, sitting comfortably in the colorful, clean and festive space near the entrance. Someone brought the food over to me. The empanadas were beautiful and cooked perfectly, with a very flavorful filling. I have to admit that the chilies were surprisingly too hot for me, though I did enjoy the heat at first. The rest went to my husband. I am anxious to return to Bella Luna to dine in. They have a chalkboard with many daily specials when you enter- make sure to look for it on the right. I had forgotten I'd read other reviews saying they missed the specials board, and I walked right past it as well. Looking forward to returning to Bella Luna!

Haven't had any problem with this place. Their food seems to be pretty good every time I come here and it's service. Never really had to wait for a seat.

Definitely a go to place for an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. I had the best Mexican pizza in there too!

Their Mexican food is awesome! I rarely get to take my family out for Mexican food as I am the only one who likes it. A bonus of Bella Luna is that they also have some of the best Pizza in Brigantine. My family visits Brigantine every year, and every year we make it a point to eat at Bella Luna!

Just had a nice experience dining at Bella Luna. Casual vibe, BYOB, good service, and tasty Mexican appetizers and entrees. Great prices too, compared to some of the other spots on the island that charge triple because they think they can. BYOB makes Bella Luna an inexpensive meal for a large group, ideal for an easy night out. we will be back again soon!
Oh and the pizzas are great, and they do delivery now. I dare you to order the 24 inch extra large pizza!! its fun just to wow the kids, because it's HUGE. and honestly my first choice for pizza on the island.

We have lived in brigantine for a year and a half and finally had dinner at Bella Luna. Pleasantly surprised! We stayed away because it serves Mexican, pizza and burgers so figured they couldn’t do Mexican right. We had guacamole, grilled jalapeños (so good!), veggie enchiladas (with mole), steak tacos, chicken tortilla soup, and chicken tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back.

All the food is delicious, the best pizza of Brigantine. I recomend this place for eat and have a good time.

My favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. The taco platter comes with some of the greatest tacos known to earth. The staff is very nice, making this restaurant a must have while in Brigantine. Quite possibly my favorite restaurant. I greatly recommend this place. Anyone talking down on Bella Luna are goofy as hell fr. I’m 15 years old and recommend that parents should definitely bring their kids her too in order to experience the magical food this restaurant creates. Love this place, and I’ll be back there prolly tomorrow.

These pizzas are ridiculous. I am wasting my extra 10 points as a Google guide for a 'detailed review' to just say "enough said".

Good guac and great pie. The extra large pizza was hilariously oversized but fairly priced (+ great anchovies). Just meant great leftovers the next day on the beach, and the box was big enough to double as a boogie board 😂. Very friendly staff - will come back!

Great Mexican food, my family and I get takeout here quite often and are never disappointed. I highly recommend the steak quesadilla it's a personal favorite!

Maria, from Mexico City, is a terrific cool. She runs a clean delicious kitchen. You must try the chicken tomatillo soup. It packs a little heat and the taste is amazing. Interestingly enough it is also a great place for pizza

Awesome people who really care about your experience @ Bella Luna. Known them since they opened, and I enjoy myself every single time. Food is affordable and very good. AWESOME VALUE !!!!

Their food is EXCELLENT. It is a Mexican place but their pizza is the best I have had on the island. Delivery is fast and food is hot. The staff is very friendly. Whenever we are at the house we get pizza and food delivered. Keep up the great work.

What a great find! Stopped for lunch, beautiful day, we couldn't eaten outside, but the reasturant is so festive.
We had one of the specials, The Fiesta platter, w chicken, fried plantains, rice and mole, and a beef burrito. Chocolate flon for dessert. Lots for lunch and I was filled for the day. Very good food, good prices, atmosphere and service. So glad I stopped in!

This place serves the biggest pizza on the island, also very tasty. Delivery was on time and pizza nice and fresh. If you ever feel the need to slam down a HUGE wagon wheel pizza and hate yourself after, call this place, won't disappoint.

The food was unique and tasty, the service wasn't too fast but not too bad considering there were 2 partiest of four who sat before us. CAUTION to order accordingly, the pizza portions are quite big! ...we ordered an 18" Mexican Fiesta Pizza pie (we asked for half chicken) and half the traditional beef way, and we ended up taking home 3-4 slices. We didn't know until afterwards that you could order single slices!! My husband loved the beef mexican pizza, it had a very Latin seasoned taste, just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and dough. I enjoyed the chicken one with some homemade Guacamole, it was quite delicious. The homemade guacamole and chips portion was too small for our liking for the large amount of chips you get with it, plus it was finger licking yummy!
FYI: We didn't learn until afterwards that you could get a medium or a large guacamole option. Ours must have been the medium size, because it didn't seem big at all. We also ordered loaded french fries that were supposed to be appetizers to share that came out at the same time as the pizza. Lol... we ended up carrying that home too. The prices were pretty good for a budget and delicious food. We spend about $42 in total for our food, plus an ice tea and water. Our waiter was ARTURO, it was only his 2nd day, best wishes to him for a successful position. He spoke both English and Spanish, although he spoke in a low tone voice that made it a little tough to understand him. As he gets more comfortable, I'm sure he'll speak up a bit more. He was thoughtful and kind, we enjoyed his service and left him more than 25% of a tip. The ATMOSPHERE is warm, cozy, lively, and colorful. Relaxing environment while you wait. They played EXCELLENT music, old school Salsa that had me singing along, and people swaying to the rythyms even if they didn't understand the lyrics. Overall, we will def come back again.

I enjoy there Mexican dishes California burrito is a meal. The salsa is freshly made, nachos are cooked to order. BYOB, can't beat it good food reasonably priced.

I have lived in Brigantine for a few years and have been travelling here for many more. I have seen the building that currently houses Bella Luna change hands many times. There are new owners now and the food is great! On several occasions I've picked up one of Bella Luna's GIANT pizza's (white pie for me thanks) and they are always delicious. I've also tried the new mexican food they offer and it's pretty authentic. If you have any misgivings about where to get a pizza or something different from the few restaurants that are available, give Bella Luna a shot.
