Wednesday afternoon,
My husband & I decided to finally stop at Freddy J’s. We are from the area and let me just say , we have been missing out ! The food was absolutely delicious, beers were cold & atmosphere was nice .We had the smoked wings with hot honey garlic sauce . Ohhh my goodness good ! That was just our starter , the sandwiches were phenomenal as well . Debbie was our bartender / server & she is on point, she had great recommendations & now I m hooked on not only the food but the dessert. Banana Carmel Cheesecake fried egg roll is a must try . Honestly , its all a must try .You won’t be disappointed!
We look forward to going back soon . Thank you Debbie as well as Phyllis for making our first experience a memorable one .

had an amazing lunch last saturday! the wings were to die for so crispy and the sauce was amazing.. i loved my salad and my boyfriend really enjoyed his burger! we had amazing service from stephanie! we can’t wait to return.

A great experience with an even better atmosphere. The bartender was great and our server sam was amazing. Gave great suggestions and the food was hot and good.

Mea was a delight to be served by as she was very attentive, sweet and helpful. She gave us a lot of great recommendations since we were very undecided since everything sounded so good. The food was excellent and I wish we had more room to eat it all! We certainly got our moneys worth with the portion sizes! Definitely give this place a visit!

Excellent food and service! Brussel sprouts and mac and cheese live up to the hype. Nashville chicken, lobster roll, and grilled cheese were all incredible too. Great service from Mea - highly recommend!

We’ve stopped a few times over the past two years and have never had a bad experience. Debbie (behind the bar) was friendly and helpful…the food was delicious as usual. This time we had the Brussels sprouts, chicken tenders (hot, honey garlic) and a chicken corn tortilla soup….all delish, scarfed up the soup to fast to take a pick….definitely returning!

One of our favorite local restaurants! We’ve gone several times for spur of the moment date nights & always been so happy that we did! The staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming. The food & drinks are always amazing and their prices are extremely reasonable. Each time we go we try something different & each time they out-do themselves.
This past Saturday we had their hummus platter, smoked wings, street corn, smoked meatloaf, chicken sandwich, a local beer, & their banana cream pie moonshine. Everything was incredible!! Best wings I’ve ever had. So good in fact that after you have them, you’ll probably never want other wings again!
If you haven’t been to one of their monthly supper club events- you really should! UNREAL. The food & drink pairings will blow your mind & leave you counting down the days until the next one! (Like we are!)
In fact, we had a family emergency the night of the last supper club & had to show up 35 minutes late. I called & spoke with the chef. She was so kind & they really went out of their way to make sure that we received the full meal (with drinks) from start to finish, even taking the time to explain each course & ensuring that we had time to enjoy & savor each dish without feeling rushed.
As a family of 8, on a budget, we truly appreciate our time there. Sometimes you just need to get out, have a break, & unwind. It’s really nice when you’re feeling stressed - to have a place that makes you feel so welcomed, appreciated, & valued.

Okay, I had been trying to get to this spot for a while , at least a year now, and it was so worth the trip. My girlfriend was in Heaven the entire time and if she’s happy, I’m happy 🤣. Our waitress Jenna was amazing! Super informative and we’re definitely asking for her the next time we come back- because we are definitely coming back!

We had a fabulous time at Freddie J’s celebrating my daughter’s birthday! Great food coupled with outstanding suggestions and service from our super friendly and helpful server Phyllis! The atmosphere is laid back fun served with gourmet flavors and down south portions and heartiness. I can’t recommend a place in the Egg Harbor/May’s Landing any higher!

My family and I were very pleased with the food and service at this restaurant. Myself and my mother had burgers which were out of this world. We both agreed that these burgers were better than places such as Red Robin and Outback Steakhouse. My Grandmother got a chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. Our waitress Mea was very kind, efficient, accommodating, and patient. It was $70 for the three of us, but it was money well spent (we also got extras and extra sides) ! Overall, I would suggest Freddy Js as a delicious and satisfactory place to eat.

Stop at Freddy J's for great home cooked BBQ that is the best in this county & I mean it. We had a great time in this friendly pub with an excellent server, Alex, who guided us through the menu. Giving it a 1st try on 1/2 rack combo: Whoa! what a delight! Best choice for new customers. The ribs were perfectly tender with a great rub, served with a delicious BBQ sauce, a rich, moist cornbread & honey butter, best baked beans ever, coleslaw, also ordered mashed potatoes. It was too much food. Took home 1/2 of it.
We'll be returning customers & bringing friends.
This pub is very clean including bathrooms. Closed Mon & Tues.

Stellar gussied up bar food. Our server Mea was excellent and attentive. Best wings in South Jersey, a good beer list, and fun cocktails (although almost exclusively on the sweet side. Please add some drier cocktails!). Oh! Make a point to stop here for their new cornbread alone. It's show stopping. Seriously, it's equal parts cornbread and bread pudding. Thick, gooey, and indulgent. Unlike any other cornbread I've ever had.

Debbie knows the VIBES!! Pineapple jalapeño margs are TO DIE FOR! Everything I put into my mouth was an explosion of flavor, quality is top notch. I’m sad it took me so long to get to Freddy J’s for the first time! I WILL BE BACK and I hope Debbie is there when I come in!

Great atmosphere, excellent service by Malynda and the food was fantastic. The crab cake egg rolls were incredible. The bourbon bbq sauce brisket cheese steak was beyond any ability to describe how good!! the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was very flavorful. And the house make chips we’re fantastic!!

Last week I stepped into a family friendly environment here. I felt welcome. Our server Stephanie recommended the West coast OG burger and it was quite tasty. Her service was efficient and she was friendly. Can't wait to come back.
