Imo's Pizza

I absolutely love Imo's Pizza! Headed to a concert on pizza day, and this location was a few blocks away so preshow dinner. The deluxe is my favorite, and you can see why as they use full strips of bacon and vegetables you can actually see! The flavor was spot on, the staff were friendly and were genuinely happy we were there. Pizza was ready in 15 minutes, the place wasn't crowded at 6pm, overall a great experience.

We ordered delivery on a cold day, and the pizza came warm and perfect!

We got the veggie pizza and the cheese pizza. None of us was from St. Louis, so we were all curious about the local special - the provel cheese pizza. It was DELICIOUS! The cheese was not heavy but just right. I truly enjoyed every bite of it.

One XL and one L pizza came to be around $60 (with taxes, delivery fee, and tips). It fed four very happy foodies.

I had a great experience here, cashier looks out for customers and offers better combos and discounts if you weren't aware of them, basically I got extra food for a tiny bit extra and it tasted great. Prices are reasonable and portions are filling. The sides are also very tasty, well seasoned and crispy.

First time trying St. Louis style pizza and I can say that it is really good. Like pizza toppings on a cracker. Crispy and the pizza sauce has a bit of sweetness to it. I will say I prefer this over New York style but it's on par with Chicago and Detroit style for me. Depends what you're in the mood for.

Side note, the parking lot wasn't clearly labeled but I confirmed with the staff that the parking lot in the back is available for use.

Thin crust— perfect crisp on the bottom.
We had a deluxe- great toppings (mushrooms, peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, etc)
The cheese is provel
According to Wikipedia-
“Provel is a white processed cheese product particularly popular in St. Louis cuisine, that is a combination of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone cheeses.[Provel has a low melting point, and therefore has a gooey and almost buttery texture at room temperature. It is the traditional topping for St. Louis-style pizza.”
Gooey is the perfect word for it.
I would definitely eat it anytime I’m here.

Not only possibly the best pizza I have ever had, but one of the best meals I’ve ever had…PERIOD!! I was in St. Louis for work and I wanted to try something St. Louis specific and by chance I found IMO’s Pizza, but I am soooo happy that I did! From the moment I walked in I was was warmly greeted, I ordered the Deluxe (and added hamburger), while waiting for my order either the manager or owner sparked up a convo with me and I told him I was from out of town, he told me that out of towners usually are torn about whether or not they like this St. Louis Staple, but I could tell he was genuinely excited for me to try it. I loved how everyone was so stoked about me trying it (I even heard the guys in the back making/cooking it say “oh he’s gonna love this”)! I got my pizza to go, but the smell through the box told me what my taste buds would eventually verify! On my way back to my hotel even my Uber driver raved about how amazing their pizzas are. I got to the hotel took a bite and immediately my trip to St. Louis was justified! I would literally come back to St. Louis just to get this pizza again! It is absolutely mouthwateringly delicious! The sauce that they use on the pizza is something special all of its own! The pizza is on the thin crust side (not too thin, but thin enough) and it’s perfect! The toppings were fresh and perfectly stacked! I ended up ordering another one before I left! If you’re in St. Louis check this location of IMO’s Pizza out!!!!

Pizza that is part of the St. Louis landscape... Made without yeast... using provel cheese and extra Oregano cut into squares or rectangles.

Imo's Pizza serves this classic St Louis speciality dutifully. The Imo Family is a self-made and St Louis original establishment first founded in 1964. With 60 years of Pizza making Imo's has become the trendsetter for its brand... and has become known for its St Louis thin crust.

The thin crust pizza is the most popular menu item throughout the region. Uniquely it's own the pizza doesn't disappoint and exceeded my expectations in every way. The value and cost is low I ordered the 10" pizza with a large salad and fountain drink... for $20.

I would describe the thin crust as 'comfort food' it works! It doesn't sound that appealing yet is a very good pizza. The flavor of crust to sauce to cheese and texture makes the St Louis thin crust and it's hype surrounding it... worthy of notion.

I recommend eating at Imo's and do try the St. Louis thin crust. I was very happy with my meal... and would order this time and time again.

As my first time trying a St. Louis style pizza, I couldn't have picked a better Imo's to order from! Daris enthusiastically helped us order all the right things to make sure we're getting the experience. She's the best!

Highly recommend the creamy garlic dressing if you order a salad. We got sausage and pepperoni as our pizza topping and it did not disappoint. Next time I roll through St. Louis I'll definitely be stopping here.

From out of town for a tournament. We ordered at the hotel. Delivery was faster than I thought. We ordered the raviolis, the boneless chicken wings cinnimos, medium pep, and small cauliflower crust deluxe. Highly recommended!

I get it if St. Louis style pizza isn’t for everyone, but I was excited to try it for the first time and Imo’s blew me away. It might be my favorite style of pizza outside of Chicago. I got the 10” all-meat and it was the perfect size.

Quality from this location is always great, the employees are always polite, they don't out-source their delivery or order takers and the delivery itself is always fast.. highly recommend this location.. just ordered two orders of toasted ravioli tonight and it was at my door 19 minutes after I made the call to order.. I do live just a few blocks away but still impressive.

Perhaps the original St Louis style pizza; which has a very thin, cracker like crust. (It's very unique but not to my specific taste.) This location had excellent service in a character filled neighborhood that has not been overcome by gentrification.

I had a wonderful time at Imos pizza. Food was delicious and an especially handsome worker namedr Caleb was extra helpful. He has a nose ring like Tupac.

Fist time having Imo’s and I was super pleased! I know people have lots of opinions about pizza but I really liked St Louis style! Super tasty.

OMG! This place serves up some of the best, most uniquely delicious pizzas I have ever had. If cut into triangular pieces one could easily serve this as hors d’oeuvres at a fancy dinner party.

Went to this imos before a hockey game. The owner himself waited on us. Small little fella with glasses. Was the sweetest wipersnapper I have ever meet. Even came out to check on how our food was. Can’t say thank you enough to him and all his help. Wish there were more owners like him in the food game. Please support this local business as you will be very glad you did.

Traveling across country and this place was recommended. I had my doubts, but it did not disappoint!!! Very very good!

This was the best pizza experience i have ever had. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the owner thanked me personally for the buisness. He was alittle short but i like little people so i let it go. Good experience. Check this place out.

I got the All Meat Pizza no one makes it better. It's by far my favorite pizza. I like alot of their other menu items also like the Toasted Raviolis and Garlic Cheese bread. The Spaghetti is really good also and their Salads.

Hands down best Imos in the city. Pizzas are great, lots of cheese and meat. I've never got a bad pizza from this location.

Visiting St Louis and heard a lot about the St Louis Style pizza and the cheese invented here called Provel. The pizza was very unique and we enjoyed it! It was a nice change compared to other pizzas out there. We also tried another St Louis specialty the toasted ravioli. We enjoyed the pizza more but it was nice to try. Their house Italian salad dressing is good too!
