We are so happy with COA! My daughter started here about 6 months ago when she was 18 months old. I struggled with PPD/PPA and this was very hard for me. Everyone at COA made that transition much easier. I also love being able to check the cameras whenever I'm missing her and need a dose of my baby. The folks at COA are very much a family, and when you join, you are part of the family. We knew going into it that my daughter was going to need Early Intervention Services, but the teachers here noticed quickly, and with a great bedside manner, they discussed it with us. My daughter now has three therapists that go to the school weekly, and her teachers are so engaged and eager to learn from them. She is making incredible progress. We don't know anyone here personally, and still, I truly feel like my child is loved at this place.

About the cleanliness, this facility is clean. For what it's worth, I have a background in nursing, and I wouldn't send my kid if I thought the place was unclean. Sure, I've walked in and it smelled like there was a blowout by the infant room, but that seems fair given the amount of babies and probability of it happening once or twice a week? The surfaces are clean and my daughter is clean when she comes home. She doesn't have diaper rashes and I get a phone call for every boo-boo.

We really love the staff and the program. They have a music therapist who interacts with all of the kids and my daughter went from kicking & screaming during music time to singing at home. Their food program is great and allows my daughter to be exposed to a lot of different tastes and textures. The director is the biggest, loveable dork (who can take that joke) and if he wasn't doing this I think he'd be the next member of The Wiggles or trying out to be a mascot for a new kids show. I love my daughter's teachers, and even the ones I don't know somehow know my daughter. We're really grateful we found COA.

Our child has been at COA since 13 months, now 3 years old. We have had a wonderful experience the entire time. The management and staff is friendly, easy to work with, and communicate well. I also like the robust curriculum and convenience of meals provided. I know our child is safe and cared for.

Our son started at COA Marlton at 8 weeks old, and we couldn't be happier with the love and support we've felt since day 1. Attention to details, cleanliness, and professionalism are only a few examples they excel in. We highly recommend them to friends and family that want to feel they're little ones are safe and happy.

We are so happy we found Children of America in Marlton!! My toddler started this week and he truly loves it! Kate (the director), his teacher and other staff members have been so great with him and have been helping him make a smooth transition. The daycare is brand new, always clean and they are following careful health and safety precautions for Covid 19. His teacher, Miss Leonie, updates tadpoles throughout the day with awesome pictures and important information. She is so creative and goes above and beyond to help kids learn! We are thrilled we chose COA and can’t wait to send our second child there in February!

We seem to have had similar bad experience as others.

The place is not the cleanest and it does smell in the classrooms almost every time we walked in a classroom. Beyond the teachers are nto as caring as we would like them to be (no one will treat your kids like their own and we get it) but they leave kids uncleaned - running nose - diapers unchanged - bruised.

Very common trend has been every time something was brought up they have defended themselves in terms of the incident rather then acknowledging the mistake.

There seems no qualification requirements for the teacher or an professional background for child care.

As mentioned, Overall it has been a bad experience with complains.

We really loved it here for the first few weeks. The facility is beautiful and has many cool features for the kids. The events and weekly themes are very fun.

We withdrew our 1 year old child due to multiple incidents within the infant classroom. I believe on multiple occasions my child was not watched carefully and the teacher would not own up to this. Instead I was being told that my child was very active and always getting into things (the definition of a toddler). I understand sometimes accidents are just accidents but this many was alarming.

I have had incidents of bumps and bruises at my own house, like all parents face, but I would never point the finger at my infant/toddler. I point the finger at myself and decide how to do better as a parent, or how I can make my home safer so that my child is protected.

The teachers in that classroom need to reevaluate how to do better at the job, because 5 injuries for one child in one month when you are under ratio is excessive and scary. The last injury she is lucky she did not lose a tooth. Honestly this situation would have ended differently, at least amicably, if the teacher had took full responsibility and gave us reassurance that she would take steps to improve her care. The only solution presented to us was that our child could be put into a high chair for a few minutes if someone could not be within arms reach of her.

Hopefully training can be implemented for the infant classroom’s teachers or they can be held more accountable when multiple incidents occur in their classrooms.

My husband and I were extremely disappointed that this situation turned out this way because we really loved the facility.
