The best in town. Cassie and Brian are friendly, energetic and very knowledgeable about all kinds of comics/graphic novels. As a huge horror fan myself, I found more than just a couple of series to enjoy during my free time thanks to their recommendations. I also love the layout and lighting of this store: small yet well-lit and perfectly organized. This place is just great.

Best comic store in Philly! They have something for everyone manga, indies, collectables, artwork, Gundam kits, you name it. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Always a joyful experience when I stop in.

For the size great little comic book shop on 2nd street. I would say I wish they had better signage on the building because I kept missing it and walked right past it.

Good stock, great staff, really nice collection of Gundam build kits.

Sad to see their original store about two stores down moved but the allure of brave new world is still there great selections and a lot of figures and statues to check out and purchase.

Charming little comic book store with friendly and helpful staff. They help you when you need it but also leave you to freely brows if that is what you want. The selection on display seemed a bit more limited but they also have the option to order anything out of stock or pre-release. Definitely gives the old school comic book store vibes with a touch of modern comforts.

Brave New Worlds is the only comic bookstore I go to in Philadelphia. The vibe is amazing, the selection of books is equally as impressive and the staff is just so darn wonderful. Rob, Brian and Cacey are always so informed on modern comics and comic history. It’s so much easier to ask them about a character/run/author than going on the internet (looking at you, Reddit). Extra points for their ability to make me laugh!

Always a great selection! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!
Space is wheelchair accessible! But this is perhaps more by accident. The space they moved into already had a cement wrap leading up to the door so it is not to code. If you're there alone you need to call and ask them to open the door if it's not propped open already. If you have an electric chair you should be able to go right in. If you have a manual chair you'll need some assistance pushing up, the rampers is on the steep side. It is doable. I do it all the time, with help up and down

Decided to visit this place while in Philly because I'm a gunpla enthusiast. The woman behind the counter was very friendly & they had a great selection of kits. I highly recommend.

Love this spot. Staff is super nice and seem to really enjoy the work and have pride in their shop. Bought few books from them and seem to have a really diverse selection, but I patron cuz it's also like the only place in Philly that sells Gundam model kits. Again, decent selection and comparable to online pricing with shipping considered.

By far the best comic book shop I've ever been to. Even with being in the Philly area, this shop is worth taking a trip to. Their back issue stock is really large and chances are they have what you're looking for. Combined with awesome and friendly staff, any comic book reader is going to feel right at home here.

Probably the biggest selection of newer comics I've seen. The back issue selection is fairly non-existent, but thats ok. Lots of cool figures and statues to buy. Everything is fairly priced (for the city anyway). I've never been here before, and I like it so far.

The manager was the one working the front desk, and he was super nice and helpful. Any time I had a question about a comic, he had an answer, and he was knowledgeable about all of them, not limited to just Marvel, or just Batman, of anything like that. I asked a lot of questions while I was there because I'm fairly new to comics, but he didn't seem put off by my frequent questions in the slightest. I definitely want to come by again if I am in the area.

This is such a great comic book store. They have a really excellent selection and very nicely laid out. They have amazing enamel pins. Although, they are very overpriced. but they give you a lot of good deals on other stuff. There was a lot of bargain bins and they had a bunch of comic book collection sort of books that were half off. Highly recommend doing the store.

I Visited today for the first time and I truly enjoyed every minute i spent, everything is well placed and very organized, there's alot to look at as well as to buy from new to old comics, collectable action figures and status, comic book protection products as well as playing card protection sleeves. Friendly service that makes you feel at home I sure will be back soon.👍
