Getting trained by Gil and Aquatech has been an incredible experience. I first got my basic cert from them 2 years ago and was so warmed by how quickly I was accepted into their community. Gil doesn't only provide training for your certification, he is really a support system for all of your diving needs, be it equipment, additional training, advice, dive trips, etc. He is extremely focused on the quality of training and equipment he provides so it is very easy to trust him and be sure that you are getting the best quality. I will be finishing my advanced training and taking one of the scuba trips with Aquatech this summer - I couldn't be more thrilled to be doing it through them and would highly recommend their services in a heartbeat.

Aquatech is THE place to go to get certified by a professional, experienced, and patient group of divers in New Jersey. Gil and his crew are knowledgeable, passionate, and encouraging instructors and guides into the world of scuba. My wife and I were certified by Aquatech fifteen years ago and it remains a great memory that taught us a valuable underwater skillset and appreciation for the sport. This weekend, Gil and crew welcomed my wife and I back for our recertification. Nothing has changed. It was a high quality, deeply informative session with knowledgeable and experienced divers. Scott, our instructor, carefully articulated the intricacies of how equipment works, how to remain calm under pressure, and remained encouraging during difficult maneuvers. He also provided my wife and I with individualized instruction, carefully observing us navigate our way through equipment assembly and offering us informative and valuable advice on how to improve our skills and make diving more enjoyable. As an educator myself, I can only say outstanding work and excellent teaching are what anyone should expect by Gil and the dedicated members of Aquatech's staff.

Gil is awesome! I am a liveaboard on a sailboat and am spending this winter in Philly. I decided to have the boat wrapped but with an added structure and clear shrink wrap, as we live on board all winter. I called all over and no one would take the job. Finally, I got ahold of Gil who, not only did the work, but did an awesome job. Its a complex job but he did his research and showed up prepared. Can't say enough positive things about him. Highly recommended.

I've scuba-ed all over the world, and am deeply impressed with Gil and the Aquatech Scuba team. They're much more thorough than a typical "mass production" scuba school, and I found myself learning new skills in my refresher class - to my sincere surprise.

Scuba is a game where the caliber and passion of the instructor is disproportionately important. Gil is an ambassador for Scuba - you'd be very well-served under his tutelage. More importantly - he's funny!

I used Aquatech to dive certify my 13 yr old son. Gil couldn’t have been more accommodating. He took the time to explain things and had extreme patience. I recommend Aquatech if you’re looking for SCUBA certifications in the N.J. area.

Went out of his way for me. I needed dive equipment in a hurry to retrieve a sunken item and Gil helped me out. Very much recommend Aqua TECH.
