The Pier House

The culinary experience and hospitality at this establishment are truly exceptional. During my stay at La Mer, the Pier House provided my family with outstanding meals throughout our entire visit. Having frequented Cape May for over a decade and having dined at numerous restaurants, I can confidently assert that the Pier House is the town's most treasured hidden gem. Without a doubt, every single meal we enjoyed there was nothing short of extraordinary.

Amy was wonderful and helped us pick a great Rosé for our ladies night out. Started with burrata....highly recommend (ask for extra pesto). Everything was delicious and we will be back.

The shrimp is fresh. Calamari is a perfect texture with excellent dipping sauces. The Signature Banana dessert was absolutely amazing.

Breakfast was wonderful... This was our first time staying at LaMer in all of our visits to Cape May, and first meal at the Pier House did not disappoint. I had the Eggs Benedict and she had the French Toast and Bloody Marys... Definitely a good choice. Can't wait to see what the dinner menu is like.

We had Kenne as our waiter. He was excellent. Pleasant conversation and gave us great recommendations for all courses. Food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday out during our honeymoon. Wonderful people, food and atmosphere.

Nothing but great things to say about my experience at The Pier House. Sara was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve ever encountered. I appreciated her knowledge about the menu, hospitality, and kindness. Food was top notch- the crab tower app and fresh catch of the day were absolutely delicious. Establishment was very clean and you couldn’t ask for a better location. 10/10 and will definitely be back!

I was on vacation July 28,29 2023 of July In cape may I decide to stop in and have a drink , then decide to order an app well I gotta say it was amazing the food was amazing and delicious. The service was impeccable. Could not have asked for a nicer place to relax and enjoy the music and atmosphere was very calming and I enjoyed it immensely . kudos to the chief and I was so impressed that I went back the following evening and had an amazing dinner of filet mignon with asparagus, mashed potatoes, carrots I mean the whole dinner, the gravy it was just absolutely delicious . perfect like I will be back next year to visit your restaurant. You have an amazing chef there who did a wonderful job. The food was absolutely to die for thank you pier . And must say Sarah was an exceptional server, who went out of her way to make my night even more special with her kindness and her professionalism. Thank you..

The food was absolutely delicious! Amazing experience. Flavorful fresh food with a wonderful presentation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The live music outside made it relaxing and extra special. The chocolate gelato had to be the best I've ever had! We will be back.

Excellent breakfast choice in cape May! Not a long wait like most other restaurants. We had waitress Maja who was SO friendly and pleasant making our breakfast, so enjoyable. The space was very open and spread out making a great atmosphere.! we will definitely be going back!!

Joelle the bartender is one of the best bartenders I have ever had. Me and a buddy were outside and her hospitality was out of this world. Every bar should look for a Joelle one of the most unique, educated, and warm people I have ever met. Traveling to every shore on the East Coast she will be the reason this place is an amazing place to visit for vacation!

So happy this place is back in cape May!! The pancakes are just as amazing as I remember from three years ago. That nice crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Also would recommend the French toast as well!

Best dinner of the summer per my Mom! The desserts capped off the meal. Highly recommend the chocolate tort and key lime bar!

Our server Kene made our anniversary so special. His service was excellent, attentive & kind. The calamari was fantastic. My veal melted in my mouth. Can’t wait to return to the Pier House.
We even saw a rainbow while we dined.

Yay! My favorite restaurant in Cape May is finally reopened after being close for two years. Today I had breakfast there and really loved the meet your meat bowl. Last night for dinner, I had the crispy calamari and mad Greek salad. The food here is consistent and the brand new space is breathtaking. The bar is much larger now and so chic!

Had a wonderful evening at the bar. Live music was great. The Thai Chili sauce Cauliflower was tasty. My husband enjoyed the octopus. The short ribs was nicely made and delicious. James the Bartender was attentive and had a great personality.

Been coming here since they first opened! Always wonderful .even breakfast is awsome xo

Fantastic dinner, drinks and service. Halibut nachos were a pleasant surprise. Steak was cooked perfect. Great evening.

Outstanding service! And the food was delicious. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was awesome!! Enough to share with 2 or 3 people! Entree sea bass perfectly cooked and sea scallops were a good size and very flavorful. The risotto that came with both entrees was amazing.

Plan on going back as soon as we can!

My cousin and I went to Pier House last night for a few drinks and apps. Will and Paula did an amazing job behind the bar, all of our drinks were great. Especially the raspberry margarita! Also, the crab salad crostini was really good too! First time at Pier House, but not my last :)
