George's Place

Very much enjoyed my first visit to George's Place! We were seated right away and experienced pleasant service throughout our breakfast. I had the banana French toast and my friend had the wrap special. We equally enjoyed both! Our waitress continously made sure our water glasses were full throughout the meal. The restaurant was clean and inviting. With a great location on Beach Ave, George's Place is a wonderful spot to enjoy while in Cape May!

You won't find a more delightful dining experience than this! From the exceptional food to the stunning ambience and gracious service, everything here is pure perfection. This restaurant is a true gem.

Basing this solely off food. Some of the cleanest and tasty breakfast I’ve had. Omelet cooked perfect and the banana French toast. I’d opt out of the bananas cooked inside next time but very good otherwise. Service was a little off. The waitress handed me too much change I refunded it and they laughed said it happens all the time. ?? Upon entering- host says sit wherever there’s a menu. If the food is consistent I’m happy. But the service needs work. Especially at these prices

One of the best places to eat in all of Cape May! I’ve been to the Beach Ave location twice, and the food is incredible and the staff is so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

Went for breakfast. I had my first ever egg's benedict with crab cake and it was SO DELICIOUS! The crab cake was the best I have ever had and it came with a large portion of fried potatoes. Great coffee and wonderful service. Highly recommend! Will come back again for breakfast and lunch too!!!

It was holiday time and didn't have to wait too long to get seated , I am happy I waited ... my family and I enjoy the food which came out quickly and perfectly made . The cheese Omelette hat the cheese mixed with eggs not just a lump thrown in like other places . Very good food and great service.

Outstanding breakfast. The wait was totally doable for this little place. Service was slow to reach us, but they were slammed with customers, which is totally understandable. Food was so good. 2x Banana French Toast, tiramisu waffle, crab cake eggs Benedict. Will absolutely return to this local gem.

This place was on my list and we finally got to check it off on our last day there. There was always a line since the place is small but it's clean and the decor is simple. Waited about 15 minutes. The prices were less than what I expected. Yeah it's a diner but you know you pay for location. We all had breakfast. Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs, Bagel, Lox, Bacon, Sausage, etc. We could not find a thing to complain about. The hash browns and coffee were exceptional. The service was great, Irene was awesome. Will definetly be going back there on the next visit to try the lunch menu.

If you are in the mood for a great breakfast this is your place! It's a small place and sometimes there's a 15+ minute wait time to be seated but the food and service is WELL worth the wait. I had the pancakes and there were 3 of them the size of dinner plates and were delicious. My girlfriend had the eggs Benedict and she was sad they were gone when she ate them. I definitely will be back.

Quaint little place with attentive staff, comfy booths and DELICIOUS food!!! Even though it was lunch time, we asked for the Smoked Salmon bagel off of the breakfast menu, delicious... Mediterranean salad with chicken, very nice size portion and incredibly fresh ingredients, 2 Falafel pitas, one with Mediterranean side salad and one with not your normal Caesar salad, both came with "fries"also. Again, both with fresh ingredients and heavenly tasting Falafel. Portion size was larger compared to price point.. those "fries" were done perfectly and seasoned perfectly.. will definently come back for round 2 at some point. Highly recommend this location!

I give this place 5 stars. We came here for brunch all 3 days we were in Cape May. The best pancakes I’ve had in this area.

What a wonderful cafe! The food was fantastic, our group had a mix of lunch and breakfast items which arrived very quickly. Delicious large portions! Highly recommended.

Great place to grab breakfast in Cape May. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. They are cash only so keep that in mind when you go. Food came out fast and hot waitress were amazing and friendly. Thanks for amazing service and food.

Authentic Greek food - the quality is outstanding, the place is cozy and comfy, the portions are very generous and the prices are kinda low.
Best place to dine in Cape May hands down.

Yummy! My husband and I stumbled across this place & I’m so glad we did! They had a BOGO deal if you ordered take out, so we did. I ordered the veggie pita with a Greek salad (pictured) and my husband ordered the harvarti sandwich. Both so delicious and SO filling! Each meal was enough for two. My husband can eat a lot, but even he was stuffed. Although I already planned to leave a review, my husband said ‘’make sure you leave a 5 star review!” He isn’t one for reviews, so that tells you it was good.

Their breakfast menu looks delicious too, so we may try while we’re here.

The food was amazing, atmosphere was great, service was really good! Definitely recommend this place! The Nutella waffle is amazing!

This place is awesome! I was here back in March. Even in the off season you need to call at 5pm to make a reservation. Also its BYO so bring something along. Great place to dine, the portions are generous for the price, prices are good, food is incredible including taste presentation and complexity of flavors. Overall 10/10 and our favorite place to dine in Cape May. I highly recommend!

Love George's! A must each time we are in Cape May.

Enjoyed the creative menu, liked the tiramsu waffle and banana French toast and brie omelet. Service was great and quick. Small place, but we got lucky without a wait in off season.

George’s always has the best food in Cape May, especially for breakfast. I usually get an omelette but the hash browns are my favorite!
