Bavarian Bakery and Deli

Ordered a smash cake and regular cake for my daughters 1st birthday, I sent them a picture of what she would be wearing and let them have artistic freedom otherwise. Picking it up was easy and quick even though they were busy. The cake was so freaking cute and delicious! I highly recommend them! Got two cupcakes too, sorry I didn't eat them lol, but I was told they were delicious!

I went in to buy a birthday cake for my husband. I walked in chose a strawberry cake from the case they wrote happy birthday and added his name. It tasted amazing and now I’m looking forward to getting all my families birthday cakes from there. The cake was well balanced and not super sweet. Be careful you could eat the whole thing in one sit lol.

How have I not heard of this place yet?! The pastries were absolutely delicious and the Bavarian bird sandwich was so good!! The cream cheese Danish pastry was so buttery and flakey, cream cheese was soft and sweet. The breakfast sandwich was so good! Fresh bread!!! Homemade ingredients! This place will definitely have my business so much more in the near future and I will be sure to recommend to all my friends and family!

We ordered a sandwich tray and ordered a cake w/ a design I wanted done. Everything was excellent ! All was done for a baby shower, and was a big success. Thank You all for a job well done!

This week, they provided a great birthday cake on super short notice. They asked great questions and made excellent recommendations in helping us order something that turned out really great. For the past couple years I've stopped there for pastries or desserts every time I've been in the area. On a whim, I ordered a couple selections from the variety of fresh baked bread they sell, and I'm really glad one of them was the Bavarian Rye. Best bakery I've ever been to.

My family loves this place! We are never disappointed with our selections. This morning I had an amazing breakfast sandwich with great flavor! The girls were friendly and helpful. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself 😊

Stopped in here for the first time. Been living near Dover for two years now and finally checked it out. The facility was very clean, and with a good variety of freshly made sandwiches and deserts. The sandwich had a lot of meat and well made. The deserts are fresh made and very good. The prices are really good too. You get a lot with each portion and the prices are not bad.

We've eaten here before and everything was delicious but I wanted to write a review for the service.

I called to ask about an ingredient in their bread due to new diet restrictions and they went above and beyond, calling their vendor to verify as accurately as they could if their bread contained it. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will always recommend this place to people!!

Their breads, food, sandwiches, pastries, deserts, everything... it's all so amazing. I absolutely loveeee getting their Italian delight with sourdough bread. Everything is so fresh and it's a flavor bomb in my mouth. The employees are always so nice and quick to help. Protect this bakery at all costs. There is nothing like it around.

I’ve recently tried this Bakery on the recommendation of a co-worker! They are amazing! For the price of 14$ approximately, you can get a soup, a sandwich and a desert! And they taste amazing! Unique! The deserts taste very similar to European deserts! Congratulations to the owners! Totally recommend them and I will definitely be back! And the African-American lady who helped me was very friendly and polite! She definitely helps the business and brings people back! 👌🏻👍🏻

Ja, das ist gut! Stopped in for desserts and left with a whole box to try. From eclairs to cake, all were top-notch delicious. Full of rich flavours, very satisfyingly filling. We'll have to try breakfast next time as well.

This unique place was excellent!! There were great choices available that I certainly want to go back and try out, but the food I got was incredible: a delicious red velvet cake and some gingerbread cookies 😄 These bakes goods were just excellent 👌

What makes a person get up on a Saturday morning to be at a bakery 15 minutes before their 6:30AM opening? You guessed it! This place has EXCELLENT pastries, pies, and cakes! They just opened this week and I couldn't have been more pleased with their new location.

I decided to try 5 items:. Bavarian Cheesecake, Pecan Turtles, (Both of these are "must buys" for me now) Lemon Walnut Cake, Raspberry Cheesecake, and a lime something that looked, and tasted, delicious.

I can honestly say that this early morning excursion made my day begin sweetly and I was a very happy customer. Keep up the great work and I will be seeing you again very soon!

2017-09-02 just picked up a Fruit Pocket, Pecan Sticky Bun, Almond Horn, and Cream Cheese Pocket. Awesome!

Get one of everything they make. Everything is beyond good, and it's the best you will ever taste. If I didn't live in Virginia I'd be there everyday.

My first visit occurred Saturday morning on my birthday! I wanted to taste everything! And almost did! Simply delicious flavor of the cookies 🍪 and not overly sweet. Simply delicious. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly. The service was excellent! Worth the money absolutely!

John assisted me with selecting a order to send to a friend's funeral. I have never done anything, and I had a lot of questions. John was patient, professional and very understanding. The delivery was made as promised and he sent me pictures of all three cakes. Did I mention, we did this all via phone. I received rave reviews on the selection we made. I ordered my daughters sweet 16 naked cake in November 2021. The baker worked one on one with us to decide the filling and types of cake. The day of the sweet 16 they packaged her cake perfectly for transport and assisted me with getting the cake in the car. Everyone loved the naked cake.
