Joe Italiano's Maplewood

The seasonal spinach salad was a really small portion and a terrible presentation and meh. it was 9 plus 8 for chicken so I did expect a dinner salad. I've never ordered an entree salad and didn't have enough greens.

It was served on a small side dish bowl and the chicken was hanging off the plate. It could have used some roasted seasonal vegetables like butternut or sweet potato.

The chicken was warm and freshly grilled though and dressing was really good..

What a wonderful meal we had. This place has done a complete 360. I will definitely keep coming back to this restaurant. And our waitress Tara was excellent. Great job with the turn around! 👏 👍

We went to Joe's for happy hour and it did not disappoint! The food, service and atmosphere were all great! I would definitely go back.

If you enjoy good ambiance, great food and service - definitely dine here. This was my first experience at Maplewood and will be back. I made reservations for a Saturday evening dinner and we were seated in a timely manner. Our server was outstanding - making sure our night out was excellent. We were not rushed like some restaurants will do on a busy night. The atmosphere, to me, is reminiscent of a time when fine dining was the norm and the service was again - outstanding. Everyone in our party loved the food. Go. You will be impressed.

Excellent location for a great Italian meal! Our server/bartender Brian was absolutely incredible! He was so personable, friendly and made the most delicious martini and old fashioned we’d ever had. Highly recommended.

My wife and I finally got a date night as the kids and grandkids went to Ohio for the weekend. The appetizers were outstanding. We had the scungilli salad and the white sauce clams casino. Both were to die for. I had the veal arugula and my wife had the homemade pasta with crab and shrimp. Outstanding!!! The service(Tara our waitress) and the atmosphere were excellent and pleasant. We are definitely coming back!

Always a good meal. Prices are reasonable and you always get your monies' worth. All meals include a house salad and a freshly baked bread. Will keep returning.

I ordered my food as take out, and one awesome thing they did was add cardboard pieces to the bag to increase stability. That was seriously cool and I thought it warranted a special mention!

One sad thing about take-out is that the food never seems to photograph quite as well at home. The food tasted amazing, and I wish my pictures did it justice. And for only $38 (with a tip), I got a lot of food, which I am never going to say no to.

Overall, I can definitely recommend them and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with them!

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. We dined in on a late Saturday night, around 9PM, and it was surprisingly quiet. We walk pass the bar to the dining area and we're seated in a booth. Our server was polite and attentive. We probably waited the average time for our food to come out. Appetizers were delicious and our entrees were very well portioned. Food was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back.

The best is linguine & crab meat.. the big decision is red or white ?! no wait …, broiled stuffed shrimp.. no wait… lobster bites… no wait.. long hots.. no wait .. the salad …the bread… sooo good !!

Had a fabulous meal at Joe’s. Our meals came with a whole loaf of freshly baked bread (warm), garlic bread, and a tasty family-style salad. The entrees were wonderful. I got the ravioli and meatballs and my wife got the chicken Robin. And the prices were reasonable.

Their homemade pasta was delicious. Try the coconut shrimp appetizer! The salad was fresh and great tasting dressing. I loved the service, attentive waiter.

Wasn't sure what to expect. Lunch was fantastic. I got the chicken with arugula and my friend got the bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp cocktail. Everyth8ng was great. The pasta tasted homemade!

I met a friend for lunch here. This wasn’t my first visit here that is why I chose this restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Parm (you can order it breaded or grilled) with your choice of pasta. I selected Penne pasta. Lunch portion is $14.99. My friend ordered the stuffed shells with a choice of a meatball, sausage and one other vegan choice. Lunch portion is $11.99. Meals come with a warm loaf of sesame seeded bread with butter and a nice bowl of salad with a variety of vegetables. Our meals were delicious and enjoyable. The portion for my meal was a bit more generous. And I actually took some home to enjoy st a later date. We finished our meal over coffee. This was a great place to meet a friend for a meal. The atmosphere was quiet and allowed for uninterrupted conversation. There were plenty of other patrons but the noise level was not loud. And when you finished your meal, they were kind enough to allow us to chat for a bit longer without moving us along. This was very nice.

This was our first time coming here and it was great the atmosphere the food the service we will definitely come back again and we recommend it for everyone to come and try the delicious food Jess k was our server she was exceptional she was attentive but she wasn’t overbearing she took great care of us thank you for the great food and the phenomenal service

Nice Valentine dinner. My wife really enjoyed it. She went wild over the clams casino and ordered another. She also had the seafood combo pot and wad too full for dessert. Had a pitcher of Sangria which was very good.

Went here about a month ago on a whim. Do not regret it one bit. The food is amazing, the seafood taste fresh, and the pasta is absolutely mouthwatering. Prices aren't bad for the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice good meal out.

My first time here, food was delicious and great, friendly service. Can't wait to go back!
