Avenue Diner

Me and my family eat here often, and they literally have the best food in town, I would even go as far to say it’s the best diner in south Jersey! The family that owns it are also so very kind, and personable!! They make you feel so welcome, like you’re apart of the family. And their customer service skills are very good as well. All around a wonderful establishment, if you haven’t tried them, it’s definitely a must!!

Avenue Diner is a charming little Diner with all the menu favorites for really good prices. The place was noticeably real clean. Service was quick and the food was hot and delicious.

Decided to try out this place for lunch during the week. We were seated quickly and service was great. Food arrived hot and fresh. We ordered the turkey club and gyro wrap, both were delicious. Loved the vibe, very cozy. Will definitely be back again!

We recently moved to the area, and we're in search of a new diner. Today we went to the Avenue Diner. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! We ordered omelets, pancakes, some breakfast sandwiches and a few sides(bacon, pork roll & chipped beef) to try a variety and compare to our previous neighborhood diner, and they did not disappoint. All of our food was cooked perfectly, and the portions were very generous( we left with a big of all the food we couldn't finish.) My only complaint WOULD have been that I was waiting for a coffee refill. BUT then our waitress came over with a fresh pot of steaming hot coffee ☕ and more creamers :) We can't wait to go back and give dinner a try!

Nice diner. The dining room is open and doesn't feel cramped. The staff was friendly.

There was a great $8.99 lunch special for grilled cheese with fries or potato salad, and a cup of soup. $9.99 if you wanted bacon, ham or pork roll with some tomato as well. Sandwich and fries came out nice and hot, and the white bean soup was good.

I'll probably make this my 'agter dentist's lunch spot.

My family is from Jersey but currently in TX due to military. THEY DO NOT HAVE SCRAPPLE HERE😔. I recently went home to visit and stopped by avenue diner. The waitress was awesome. And I got my scrapple just the way I like it. I would definitely go back!

Wonderful people and good food. The prices are manageable and the portion sizes are generous. We had a Mothers Day brunch here and really enjoyed our time. I got a vegetable omelet and really liked all the different veggies that went into it. I would come back here again.

I went along with 16 members of my family for Thanksgiving Dinner.
The food was homestyle, seasoned well delicious. They were very busy, the staff remained friendly, smiling, helpful...never overwhelmed.
The host took a family picture for us!

I absolutely love the Avenue Diner. My husband and I come here often, usually after morning hikes for breakfast, but sometimes for dinner, as well. You literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is solid, their fish and seafood is way better than it needs to be, and their service is awesome, and it's very reasonably priced. I can't recommend them enough.
