ShopRite of Berlin

Quick stop for some last minute BBQ items. Had everything i needed. Ice, aluminum foil pans and a fresh fruit tray. Helpful register attendant assisted me twice when the register was yelling at me and even brought the ice to me from across the store. I love their fresh sushi and the Chinese food bar.
9/25 Deli department quick pick-up items like sliced cheese and lunch meat were completely empty. Was not going to wait in a long line of customers for 1lb of cheese. Purchased pre packaged cheese slices from refrigerator section.

I have not been at ShopRite of Berlin in a long time. What a different, I was surprised and I really like what they have done. It feels so much bigger and I enjoy the experience.

We travel the extra 15 minutes to shop here. The produce and seafood departments are well worth the ride- great bakery too!

Always stocked and clean. Staff is great! Everyone is always kind and helpful

I am disabled and use one of your motorized carts to shop. Your employee who takes care of the parking lot, Chris, runs to greet me when I exit the store. He is so pleasant and walks me to my car, loads the groceries in my trunk then opens my door and helps me in before returning my cart. Chris is a rare person and I am happy that you have him as an employee!

I celebrated a very special birthday July 25th. I wanted flower arrangements made to my exact speculations. After calling local florist and not getting a warm feeling about what they offered me, I decided to try Zallies Shop Rite in Berlin. Always a very well run business. I was fortunate to speak with Nancy. Nancy knew exactly what I was describing. Took an interest in every detail down to the packaging of the 3 gorgeous arrangements. There were so many compliments over the flower arrangements. I was beyond thrilled. Thank you Nanci. You are the best.

Huge shout out to management. I went to 5 and below to get my two year old twins balloons, they seemed secure with the weights but the one got loose. We figured it was a total loss but ended up having a sweet conversation with the self check out lady and mentioned it. She got her managers to see what they can do. They were busy with a loss prevention case told us it would be a bit so I told them not to worry about it. By the time my kids and groceries were packed in the car and we pulled out the manger was standing there waiting for us in the parking lot with the balloon. You never know what someone is going through and something silly as saving that $5 balloon made my whole weekend so thank you again ShopRite

Cleanest, well covid-19 protected. Suggestion hand sanitizing stations & cart wipes for those that prefer. A month ago there was someone spraying paper towels with disinfectant What happened. Overall a great place to shop, prices are reasonable too

I got married at this hotel and it was everything that I wanted and more. The wedding package waa a little expensive but considering everything that's included ans the great service I would say it was worrh wvery penny. The staff were phenomenal. The young lady assigned to assist me with my wedding was exceptional. She was with me through the whole process. Even checking on me and my husband throughout the entire night making sure that we were good. The food was impeccable. And they give you so much food. There was something for everyone. And if not they will certainly work with you to accomodate your food choices. Three months later people are still talking about my wedding. I can't say enough about this hotel. Our stay was wonderful. They even gave us a voucher to return within the next year for a free night's stay with meals. They were very thoughtful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this location if you're planning to get married.

the has to be my favorite shoprite, compared to other shoprites this place is phenomenal. i love the clean space and helpful workers. i never have problems here. their bakery has a lot of selections as well.

Great store laid out. Great selections of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables,and fresh breads. Deli section is big with many varieties of single serving of different meals. Large frozen section. Many isles of the other food items: can vegetables and soups, cereals, household cleaners, laundry cleaners. And can't forget the great helpful staff. Store is always clean and easy to get around.

Had an issue checking out and Jake the cashier overseeing self-checkout helped quickly and efficiently.

The store is great But I don’t understand why you can’t just offer the senior discount and the military discount every day. If your helping seniors and respecting the military why not just give the discount every day to those who qualify. Also you have us being unpaid cashiers and baggers along with now supplying are own bags so could you pass that savings on to the customers who are basically now also your employees?

The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the produce is fresh, and they have a great selection! Love the addition and convenience of the attached liquor store.
My favorite Shoprite!

I was in tonight to grab sushi and lunch meat, I had the most pleasurable experience with Jarred in the deli department. He was pleasant, listened to my order and cut my order exactly as I requested. He and another worked Zaire (who had not waited on me) were the prime examples of what customer service should look like.
My cashier Jeff, greeted me properly and immediately. There was an issue with the customer before me and he handled the situation perfectly and apologized for my wait. As a former employee of this establishment it really made me happy to see the quality employees who exude professionalism and pride in their work! Kudos to them! I feel they deserve recognition for a job well done.

When we moved to the Berlin area, I was new to shopping at a Shop Rite. I have been so pleasantly happy with the entire store. Bakery is awesome. Produce is well stocked with Jersey Fresh items when they are available and prices are really good. The deli is always a busy place but the management always have enough deli workers staffed and they have always sliced my meats as requested. Freshly prepared foods are tasty and well prepared! The store is always well stocked even with sale items. Mostly I am so happy that Shop Rite seem to hire a diverse staff of seniors, disadvantaged and college staff. All very polite and helpful. Shop Rite should be honored for giving discounts to the military and more recently senior citizens. I always see a worker who i assume is the manager who is not above pitching in with the general work and interacting with all the workers. Keep up the good job feeding our community!!

Wow….. Jennifer in Bakery. Did an incredible job helping me with last minute cupcake add for my nieces mermaid theme birthday. It literally was five minutes. She went above and beyond to assist with making sure I was a satisfied customer. Kudos to the leaders here and again thank you Jennifer for whipping this together for me .
