Cute little historic area tucked behind a beautiful neighborhood. Toys on table are there for anyone visiting to play with, just be respectful and leave there for others to enjoy too. Plenty of parking.

Nice site, relatively hidden at the end of a quiet cul de sac!

This is more of a historic landmark than a tourist spot. There is an info board and some items of interest here, but it's all done through volunteer efforts (was an Eagle Scout project) and not comercialized at all. There is a commemorative statue in downtown Haddonfield and the actual bones are in the The Academy of Natural Sciences - at Drexel University. It's open to the public and does not close (the site is at the end of Maple Avenue)

Interesting place to visit with a small child. Not much to see, but some very friendly previous visitors have left a lot of toy dinos on the picnic table. Don't expect anything more than a couple of plaques and toy dinos on a picnic table.

There is an entrance to Penny Packer park, it seems, but we stay out of woods for fear of ticks.

Have fun.

Interesting and very cool to know that a dino was extracted from this site.

Limited to a small chill area and info board.

Cool historic site! Definitely read up on the history if you're unaware. While some think it's pretty sparse, if you venture into the park you can find shark teeth, arrowheads, and other small fossils by the stream bed. But, some trails are pretty grown over, so be sure to wear high socks/pants! Also I know in general this is a faux pas, but for those in the area looking to bring children to the park for something to do, I highly recommend looking online at geocaching.com, there's a geocache in the park (don't put spoilers in your reviews!) that is super cool especially for young kids.

Great site! Worth the drive, lovely neighborhood. Great Eagle Scout project. Thank you Christopher Bazes and Troop 65, 1984.

Neat little site, has a history plaque, an interesting place to add depth to the knowledge of where you live or even if youre just visiting. its about a 15 min activity, not much else other than an informational plaque and a table where people leave toy dinosaurs, which is cool.

Very well known location for dinosaur bones.. not so much for shells or shark teeth.. rather steep non paved, cliff you will need to transverse to enter creek bed.. Always be careful, there is a ton of broken glass everywhere...

My family loves this site. They even have dino toys at a picnic table for the kids. Nice trails nearby too.
