David & Sons 322 BBQ & Butcher - Swedesboro, NJ

Working here in Logan Township is a pain in the rear end because all the food in this area is horrible. BUT THIS PLACE... PHENOMENAL!!! Great lunch prices, awesome portions, quality meats that are tender and cooked to perfection. I came here for the first time last week and order the chicken Chipotle nachos, mac and cheese, crispy chicken sandwich, lemonade (which is tasteful unlike that awful minute maid everyone else serves), and strawberry donut. Everything was great. The lady running the register was very pleasant, a sweetheart. Greeted us as soon as we walked in and helped with recommendations. I've tried food for the last few years at Green tea Chinese, classy cow joint, Applebee's, wawa, fast food, Red Hen, cicontes, papa luigi, center square tavern, and have been tired of being disappointed with my food. Looking forward to go back. My only wish is that they start serving their lunch specials on Saturdays as well.

****UPDATE 10.1.22 NOW SERVING BREAKFAST!! omg game changer!! It was absolutely amazingggggg! Got the fried chicken and egg sandwich and the brisket egg and cheese sandwich and let me tell u best breakfast sandwich I've eaten in a while! Both are served with potatoes!! Also serving donuts *****

Loaded bbq brisket sandwich, parmesan truffle fries, Nashville hot and honey wings, so good!

What a wonderful experience. We were treated like family. The food was delicious.

This was my first visit to David and Son's bbq. I like bbq and brisket, etc. I have to say the candied bacon is awesome...sweet and spicy and so full of flavor. Another favorite was their loaded baked potato...again, it had so much flavor and practically a meal in itself. I had the loaded brisket sandwich which was served on a long roll and the portion more than generous. Breanna, the cashier was more than helpful when we ordered. Their menu has much to offer.

First time that I ever ate brisket , ever in my life! I'll tell ya, I ordered a brisket burger and it was the Best burger I've eaten!! A little expensive, but I'm going back! Don't forget to get a huge cookie and donut!! The BEST EVER!

We ended up eating here after the Cowtown Rodeo sold out. Did a random online search, and could not have been happier to find this place! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but the staff literally stayed open 45 minutes after closing to let us dine in. They were so nice and accommodating, the front counter employee was so adorable with our daughter, and the food was literally some of the best we've had in a long time. We can't stop talking about the potato salad! Would 100% recommend!!

Got a pulled pork sandwich with fries. Cornbread and a drink was really good a tad pricey but the portions were large and you'll need a second stomach to finish. Will definitely go again

Very good BBQ. It’s a little pricy but it’s worth it. Highly recommend the Redneck Egg Roll. Tried the Big Mama Sandwich—wow. This thing should have come with instructions it was so big

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon David and Sons when we came out to try a coffee place near by. The food was amazing! I got a fried chicken sandwich and it was HUGE- i ate half of it and still have a whole portion left for another meal. My boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich with sweet tea and it was delicious. For dessert we got a peanut butter donut that was also delicious. The workers were extremely nice and helpful with answering questions about the menu.

Amazing food, friendly staff, clean restaurant and decent prices. I will always be sure to come back whenever I am in the area!

One of the few places I miss having moved to far-away lands... these folks know meat. The bacon, the brisket, the everything.

Can you find better? There is an argument for everything... but this is easily in the top 5 meat places I'd go to. Worth the try.

This is the Second time I have been here and they did not disappoint either time Food was spectacular The order it came out Was Strange But it was worth it Every thing everyone ordered was delicious hot Drinks should always come first I had to ask for our drinks After the food arrived So I could eat Due to Health problems the front girl was New probably her first serving job or to busy to be alone She just needs practice They didn't seem to be on the same team But the Food is Excellent and I recommend you see for your self

Phenomenal food, great service! If u know good smoked foods this is the place! Monkey bread out of this world, pulled chicken ridiculous too. Everything was great!

First things first, and that’s the impression. And I’ll just say God Bless Texas! Seeing that flag flying took be back to the greatest state in the Union!

The brisket and Mac burrito was so good I practically inhaled it. My girlfriend, who is picky enjoyed her pulled chicken however the sauce wasn’t exactly her type. However, she equally inhaled her Mac and cheese that she said was some of the best she’s had not from home. Overall, great atmosphere, awesome staff, and absolutely delicious/authentic Texas style BBQ.

Will definitely be coming back, totally worth the drive!

Just for the mouthwatering smells!

Have gone back a couple times now since my initial review, and every time the meats are as mouthwateringly delicious as the last.

Their burgers are quite good. But where they really shine is with the smoker. The brisket! The smoked tenderloin! The ribs!

They also sell uncooked fresh and aged steaks, which I haven't tried but which look top notch.

In addition, the sides aren't bad, particularly the roasted Brussels.

All in all, David's has become my go to for BBQ and when I have a real taste for meat.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, RIBS,beans,collards, chicken tenders, pulled pork, loaded potato, I could go on. This will be my new go to place when I visit family. The young lady at the register was very sweet and helpful. Must note, how clean and organized everything appeared. Me and my picky family enjoyed the food. Prices can be a bit expensive so try to do combination platters

Unbelievable quality and taste - it’s pricey but it’s worth it. If you like to pay 15 for garbage help yourselves to a chain restaurant- we will be back again and probably again… take a fat chicks word this is sooo good 🤤

Stopped in on trip from Delaware. What can I say, wasn't expecting much from BBQ in Jersey.... but the place exceeded my expectations. Got a little of everything and it all was very tasty. The staff was great too. Guy running the front acted as if he was an owneri...n the sense you could tell he actually cared and was super friendly. Favorite thing was the baked beans. They were loaded with meat, and was more like a meal than a side.

The best BBQ I've ever had, including way better than my own. :) My family stopped here randomly on the way down to Ocean City, NJ and were blown away. I had the brisket sandwich, my wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and my kids had a burger and mac and cheese. The brisket was melt in your mouth delicious and so was the pork. Also, the fries are hand cut and absolutely delicious. I have been smoking my own meat for years but this stuff put me to shame!

I have been here twice now in less then a month. It's so good. This place is perfect for your barbeque craving. It's not cheap but the quality is well worth the price. It's situated in a strip mall type establishment and I can't imagine having to work next to it everyday with the strong smell of barbeque. I guess it could be a blessing and a curse especially for the gym!! There's limited seating and I highly recommend you plan on take out for home. Definitely not a eat in your car kinda meal. Also I recommend calling ahead to place your order. And definitely check double check for accuracy. They gave me the wrong order my first visit and my second visit my order for Fried Pickles wasn't in the bag. They were extremely busy and there wasn't a clear direction of who was supposed to be doing what. They appear to be family run and are local so it's easy to get over them being busy and making mistakes because we are all human and it appeared like they were trying but we're obviously overwhelmed. Bring your appetite and your patience it's worth the wait.
