Entire crew there, especially Tom the owner, was incredibly knowledgable and helped
me get everything from outfits to skis for my family’s ski trip. Suited up everyone with exactly what we needed.

AND they have the cutest shop dog!

Tom, the owner was tremendously helpful and knowledgeable in the products I was looking for.

He could not have been easier to deal with and took the time to actually look at a video of me skiing so that he would have an even better idea what to go with.

I’ve been to his Business a number of times.

Very, very surprised to read some of the reviews here. I came here to leave a great review about a recent experience. Last fall my son just had to have a particular pair of ski boots. We live in CT and Norse House was the only FT dealer in the northeast with the model and size of boot we were looking for. After a brief phone conversation the owner offered his cell number and asked me to trace my sons foot on paper, take a few measurements and text him the results. He confirmed the fit, and held the boots as we would be in the area the following week for Thanksgiving. We showed up a week later and the boots were waiting. They were fitted, heat molded and had a upgraded booster strap installed. Great transaction and service all around.

My son tried on his boots a few days ago, and not surprisingly they were a little snug as he has grown in the past year. We checked the shell fit which was still fine so we headed back to Norse House. Tom re-molded the liners, and all is well again. I tried to pay for the service, but was refused because I bought the boots there originally. Another outstanding experience.

We also started bringing our mtb's there for service this summer since the shops near our home in CT have super long turnaround times. They've done a great job on our bikes and I thought their pricing was very reasonable too.

Great selection, friendly and professional staff, mounted my ski bindings in no time.

Tom was terrific. I stopped in late in the afternoon after a wild goose chase with another local shop. Tom fitted my boots and set me up with everything so I could hit the slopes the next morning. Professional service. Fair price. Highly recommend.

One of the best sports shops in the area, especially if you're looking for new ski boots. No one better than Tom to fit your boots, making off the shelf almost as good as custom boots. Have bought our equipment here for over 30 yrs. Nothing else compares to the service.

Great group of people running this shop. Rented from them for a day at Stratton then decided to buy. Have always struggled with boots so got fitted and after a day in them feel 100x better. They really know their stuff and can made solid recommendations based upon your experience. They also give a lot of tips that help out a ton.

This is a true ski and snowboard shop. After having lived and worked in Lake Tahoe and Jackson Hole, I can confidently say this crew is doing it right. After having Alex help me last year get dialed on a new snowboard setup, he and another ski tech helped my wife get fit for seasonal ski rentals and a helmet. After going to two shops in Stratton's village where no one offered to help her fit her boots properly, Alex and crew went above and beyond to make sure my wife would be comfortable and ripping all season long. Can't say enough good things about this shop, their products, and service.

Best of the best - Went here to purchase new ski boots - and Tom was the best of the best - he was thorough, conscious of my unique boot needs for comfortable skiing and even provided me with Demo Skis so I could have a better experience testing my ski boots. He has an incredible selection of apparel as well! Highly recommend this shop for all your skiing needs. I will definitely be back.

Tom and the staff here are absolutely amazing. Super knowledgeable about all things skiing and extremely helpful. Will be coming back here any time I am upgrading equipment.

Tom was awesome. He found the perfect boots for my 12 year old son. Other shops pushed for us to buy an adult boat but he found an in between one which was perfect. Price was fair considering it is a shop in a resort area. Will now give them our future business

Staff was super friendly. Alex was very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed my problem and helped my boots have a better feel on my foot than they ever have, and minimize heel lift. Cant wait to find some powder!

spoke to someone at the store during the week about getting a pair of tele bindings. they set them aside for me and mounted them up for me on the spot since I couldn't wait a day or even a few hours. awesome shop, great techs and knowledgeable people. I'll gladly go out of the way to come back

Got a roof rack on my car today at Norse House. While the installation was a little rough because of the unique design of my vehicle roof, Tom and his team stayed the course and did a great job. The effort that his team put into the fitment and ensuring that the rack was going to be stable for the life of the vehicle was impressive. That type of dedication to the craft is one of the things that makes Vermont so great. Thanks Norse House team, I look forward to my next visit (and hopefully it is less complicated).

Tom is wonderful! My boyfriend was a first time snowboarder and he made the entire rental experience super pleasant, affordable and comfortable! Would encourage everyone to go here! The prices are fantastic, it's close to the mountain and the staff is unbeatable! :)

Cool place! Stopped to look at kayaks and walked with some quality paddling shoes by Stio! Definitely will be returning.

I had problems with ski boots that didn’t fit me correctly. I called Norse house and talked to the boot fitters there and felt listened to and felt they were trying to help. I went there and was fitted with a new pair of boots that were appropriate for my level of skiing and my foot. They took their time and were very patient. I am enjoying my time skiing again, I would highly recommend them to other skiers looking for new boots! My husband is planning on going their next year to get fitted.

I stopped in for some local mountain bike trail knowledge and one employee took a considerable amount of time to talk to me about it. I truly appreciated the kind words and local knowledge. The shop is clean and professional. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Rented their dh mtbs after Stratton ran out. Bikes were great, charged $25 to shuttle 4 bikes there and back. Very happy they could help us out

I recently scored the last two kayaks left in New England from these guys. They were super friendly, knowledgeable and worth the drive. I hope to return soneday soon.
