Chester Community Charter School - West Campus

This school gets a lot of flack for the things it does wrong but how about the things it does right? I went to CCCS through all 9 years of primary education (K-8) and believe that it more than prepared me for a life in high school and beyond. Because of CCCS I was able to acquire resources necessary for me to reach the next step of my journey - through the Guregian Charitable Foundation, a scholarship program which provided funds as I pursued an education at a prestigious private high school and helped me further my goals. I don't know if I can say I'd be the man I am today without the support and nurturing I received as a student of Chester Community Charter School.

Cccs is a good school but the only thing i dont like is that they have uniforms students should be able to express there self by their clothes other things are good to me

I love this school every school has it's issues but hands down I love it my kids are getting a great education

This school really got on my nerves good school

All schools have their problems but my son love going to school and he learning so much. I just don’t like on cold days in the morning they don’t let the kids in the school. They say the doors open at 7:40 a.m. but so many times I drop my son off and I have to bang on the door and they look at parents like we crazy. Some staff are rude but other then that it’s a ok school.

This school doesn't deserve a half of a star...They are the worse school I've ever heard of... how about a PTA about the bus services? Kids getting bullied & hurt on your contracted buses? How about how it's inconvenient to parents and students that the bus is never on time and kids are waiting outside for hours before a bus? How sometimes the bus never shows? How nasty and disrespectful, uncaring, undedicated the staff are? How y'all make the kids wait in the cold at the school if the buses are late? How teachers curse at the children? How SUSPENSION is the only way to solve problems? How y'all false advertising? CCCS is WORSE than public. Worse mistake of my life enrolling my son and removing him out of catholic. The teachers, staff and faculty are HORRIBLE DISHONEST PEOPLE WHO SHOW NO DEDICATION TO THEIR JOBS.

I don't like it at all, I made a mistake. Me and my husband are trying to move to another place or find another school for our kids. The staff don't have any control of anything , they are rude even with the kids. Seems they don't care about the kids. I wish I could give a 0.

Horrible school, teachers won't tell you if something is happening bad to your child, some little kids like to be bullies, and i have my 5 year old going there, but i made a big mistake in putting her there, she has speech delay and autism spectrum and the teachers and staff in the class room don't pay mind if something bad is happening to your child. Ive heard from a person that is working for elwyn absorbing my daughters behavior and speech also told me she saw a kid trying to poke my childs eye out with a pen and there was no one noticing that, and in the lunch room there are kids that do what ever they want and a girl did not want to let my daughter sit to eat and she started crying and none of the staff cared to check at all, luckily the lady absorbing my child helped her and told the bully not do that and to let her sit and eat and the teacher knows my daughters condition and that she cannot be alone like that but they just don't care at all about her condition amd in general , also the worst part is in recess, the staff don't care to watch over the kids, and just let them bump into my daughter while she cried, luckily the lady from elwyn protected her and gave her reassurance she was gonna be ok, and when she told the staff the madness going on outside, the staff didn't care, they would just stand there like nothing. Also the lady from elwyn saw how my daughter would run to the bathroom on her own and would not come out for a while and no one cared to check if she was ok. The lady sent by elwyn told the dean what she saw and he didn't care either. She had to go after my daughter to make sure she was ok. I can't believe what a disorganized and horrible charter school this is. The principal is never seen, there is no one watching the kids at lunch time or in recess, teachers stay in their rooms without as so much as to check if their classroom kids are doing ok, and they just don't care at all, but i will complain to them and to the district and tell them what a horrible school this is, and how my daughter is not safe here. These people don't care about children's safety, and i advise you parents please do NOT enroll your children here, you have been warned. I will be taking my daughter out of this school for good.
