We had an enjoyable dinner for my wife's birthday over memorial day weekend.

The food was delicious, well cooked, seasoned and plentiful.
We had the red snapper and summer burger.
Drinks were well crafted thanks to the bartender!

Shout out to Jake who was on point as our server and balancing multiple tasks and a hectic evening at the same time.

Check the website for the afternoon or evening live artist.
We've been several times and each artist has been a great complement to the atmosphere at Elaine's!

Limited parking is behind the restaurant.

We have stayed at Elaine’s in the past. This time we stayed in a newer room. Absolutely beautiful. Nice size room and bathroom. Balcony was nice to sit out front. We sat at the inside bar our first night. Hope (barmaid) was absolutely great. She recommended 2 meals that she loves, pork chop and salmon. My husband had the chop, I got the salmon. Both were amazing! So tasty, and hot when served. The coconut shrimp is breaded on site, they were wonderful too! Breakfast was great too! Paul our waiter was so knowledgeable on everything about the property. Was great learning so much all while eating a good breakfast! Everyone we talked with from owners to wait staff to housekeepers were extremely nice!!
Elaine’s has always been a top choice for us, but this get away proved why!
Try them out, you will not be disappointed.

I am reviewing the The Porch at Elaine’s. We had breakfast here with my wife and the server from Romania was fantastic. The food was great and the porch atmosphere was just what we were looking. Great breakfast spot in Cape May.

Loved the hotel. Quaint hotel with a personal touch. Cleaning staff was great. Food was wonderful. Sandy in the bar was fabulous! She made the best martinis. Felt right at home.

There are so many great things about Elaine’s I'm not sure where to start. The service was exceptional, staff always ready to help and e sure our stay was enjoyable.

There is a huge variety of room choices from a spacious romantic modern room with a fireplace to quaint Victorian style decorated rooms with your own porch. There are also modern rooms with beautiful bathrooms.

The food was good with generous proportions. I'd recommend the Eggs Benedict with crab or the 222 breakfast.

This boutique hotel is all in for Halloween celebrations with music on the weekends, incredible decorations in the outdoor patio. Just loved our stay here. I would highly recommend Elaine's for its location to Washington Street shopping and restaurants.

Excellent location ! Great staff rooms are clean, clean, clean newly renovated areas. If you’re looking for very quiet check it out first cause they have two bars, restaurant and it’s always packed cause the food is very good and service is great. Owners are always there and very chatty! We enjoy this location because it’s a short walk to he beach and the main shopping area. Enjoy a balcony room for evening scrabble games with family and listen to the music or go join them. They have a newly renovated inside room and there was a private party in there when we stayed looked like such fun. Until next summer!

This review is for the restaurant. My mom and I came here for dinner one night and ate at the bar inside. The bartender was very professional and attentive. Our drinks were great (especially love the dessert martinis). We each ordered a seafood entree (stuffed flounder & red snapper) that were very good. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere inside but we enjoyed our experience, meal & drinks.

This was our second stay at Elaine’s and it was better than the first.
As we were entering Cape may we received a phone call from Patrick our host asking what our time of arrival would be so he could be sure to be there to greet us.
Patrick showed us to our room on the second floor, our room was Nest #4, it has a large raised Victorian Bed facing it was at least 70” TV, our room faced Layfette St. and all the Christmas lights (very beautiful) the room also had a love seat and make up table.
The rooms climate control was a split system AC/Heat Pump that worked off a remote control, the bathroom was spacious.
As we were staying multiple days, we received breakfast vouchers for each of us at $15 per day.
We slept well and went down for Breakfast in the dining room where we would meet Paul who took care of us, he was a great dining room host, friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast menu averages between $8 to $16, the first day we both went with pork roll, Egg and cheese on a roll with home fries with coffee, our out of packet cost was $3 plus a gratuity, the second day my Wife had avocado toast and I had eggs benedict with home fries we both had coffee that day we had no out of pocket and just left a gratuity.
One of the biggest pros for staying at Elaine’s is every room has an assigned onsite parking space and great convenience in a town with limited parking.
We can’t wait to escape again to Cape May and Elaine’s.

This review is exclusively for small outside bar. Every time my family and I come to Cape May we stop by this small boutique outside bar, and we end up having so much fun. Drinks are good, food is good, and lively atmosphere. Staff is welcoming. We usually go there after dinner, after dropping kids off. My favorite place to unwind with my husband.

Fun vibe with year-round al fresco dining, bar, and live music. The lobster spring rolls were more like a lobster roll. And I mean that in a good way. They have heaters during the fall/winter to keep you cozy and a fire pit table. Indoor dining is available too, but outdoors is way more fun. Great location 1 block from Washington St.

What a wonderful stay at Elaine's! The rooms are very clean and nice. We stayed in a two beds room (#12) which was on the first floor and very convenient. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Location was great as they are two blocks from Washington street with all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely come back.

We had a newly renovated room #18. The room was beautiful and super clean. The double doors and a balcony was especially amazing! The location is on point - 5 min walk to the beach and surrounded by amazing shops and restaurants! We will definitely come back.

What a wonderful place. My wife and I stayed two nights here. We stayed in one of the updated rooms, which was so nice and clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We only had breakfast because it's not full season yet but the food was fantastic. The staff were so informative on the history of the place.

A last minute 4 day romantic getaway and fell upon this gem - and so glad we did! Our room was immaculate, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating, we met the sweetest workers. Our meals and drinks were fantastic and live music every night a great bonus! Interesting chatting with the owner as well. We are already contemplating our next visit. We will be back :)

I stayed at Elaine's a few weeks back and it was a wonderful experience. My friend and I were given room #10. It was cool and comfortable, and very clean. We ate every breakfast and a dinner at their restaurant, and every meal was delicious. The staff was attentive and courteous. The owners couldn't have been more kind. I will definitely be staying there again. It was simply magnificent. I highly recommend it.
