Dry Dock Ice Cream Bar & Grill

We had delicious ice cream in this nice and clean place. We didn’t try the grill food, but it looked and smelled good. Inside and outside seating.

My family has been eating here for years. We love the food and the staff is great. Great icecream too. We tell everyone we meet at Cape May to eat at the Dry Dock, you won't be disappointed!!!!!

Clean, good food. Prices are good. Often grab lunch here. I recommend. A+ staff is extremely nice and service is fast.

The food is superb and the young ladies behind the counter are most welcoming and always have a smile. The prices are reasonable and fair. The restaurant areas inside and out are always clean which makes me believe the kitchen is clean (a most important part of preparing food). Try it.....you will like it!!!

Cheesesteak and french fries were good. Meat filled roll and lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Plus lots of ice cream options... cones, sundaes, floats, and milkshakes, even have malted shakes. Kid friendly.

I absolutely love the food! I personally had grilled cheese and macaroni and cheese because I'm a very picky eater and it was perfect for something so simple. I even tried my brother's dish which was flounder and it was amazing!! It's the best flounder I've ever had and I don't really like fish. I recommend this place to anybody that's a picky eater, The food is not made fancy. It's made homemade and it's amazing. Whenever I visit Cape May again I will definitely visit here again!!

Been here before, but only just now writing a review of this place. I've only been here for the ice cream and not the food, so can't say much about their food. It is a busy place, and they do have tables and benches outside. their ice cream also tastes very fresh.

Went here on Sunday August 6th 2023 with my family after driving around Cape May during our traditional yearly Wildwood/Cape May, NJ trip. I ordered Cookie dough in a cup with gummy worms, My dad ordered a chocolate cone, and my mom ordered soft serve vanila with chocolate sprinkles. Ice cream was reasonably priced, and was able to sit on the bench and eat our ice cream. They also have a restroom located in the back that one has to ask for the key for if one has to go. i unfortunately had to go, but found the restroom quickly, and it was super clean. Will be back on our next vacation!

This is our go-to spot for ice cream when we're in Cape May. The staff is friendly and helpful and the ice cream is delicious. LARGE portions and they get through a crowd quickly. Delicious!

We used to take our kids here back in the early 2000's. They loved getting their meal served on a frisbee. The soft serve ice cream is very good

Super friendly staff and great icecream! My daughter and I wanted some icecream and were on our way to Wawa when we saw Dry Dock open. So glad they weren't closed!

Delicious fresh ice cream. Many flavors to choose from and toppings. They also make sundaes and milkshakes as well. I would say this a classic ice cream shop with some modern additions. The ice cream was light and airy which I enjoyed because it tasted fresh and less dense than commercial products. Very enjoyable.

An ice cream joint with amazingly great potato salad (Robinson's Deli), tuna salad sandwhiches, burgers and more. Not crowded for lunch and free parking.

Great ice cream spot. Wish they had a dedicated line for ordering and waiting for orders. It can be an overcrowded mass of people at times so I recommend going when it's less crowded so you can grab one of the blue tables out front.

We needed food on a Saturday night and all the open places were not picking up the phone (too busy). Decided to try Dry dock for dinner thinking it would be a gamble since it was an 'ice cream' place. Wow.....food impressive & fresh! Crab cakes, flounder and burgers...delicious! Open air seating....just wished they could move garbage bins away from seating area. Pleasant staff while ordering. 30 mins for food but we took a walk around the docks until it was ready. We will be back. They also have convenient online ordering.

Good food made with fresh ingredients. The girls behind the register are very sweet and the owner knows how to make customers feel appreciated. Didn't get the hand-dipped, but the soft-serve ice cream was surprisingly rich and creamy! Excellent spot!!
