Pinnacle Lodge

I walked in to the Lodge (it's about 0.4 miles east of the 11/130 trail crossing). My room was clean, warm, and had a refrigerator and microwave oven in it. John and Nancy had time to give me a ride to town for supper and resupply. They had a coin laundry in an adjacent building.

This was a great place to stay while resupplying on The Long Trail. The rooms were clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the sitting area right outside our room. The staff went above and beyond the expected for our needs. We are very grateful to them.

Phenomenal experience. John and Nancy were wonderful to talk to and went out of their way to make my stay a wonderful and caring experience. Highly suggest this stay. Currently thru-hiking and I needed this rest and peace.

Wonderful place. Spent the weekend there and could have stayed longer. Rooms were fresh and clean, refrigerator in room is a big plus. Hosts were very knowledgeable and personable. Felt like family. Will be going back. Highly recommend for a true Vermont experience.

This place was absolutely amazing had everything a backpacker could want or need! It's located just a half mile from the Long Trail, has rides to and from the trailhead/town, multiple washers/dryers, hiker box, really nice rooms with 2 beds, apartment size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, common area with outdoor seating, grill, fire ring, and a pond with kayaks. Thank you John for the ice cold refreshment it was really appreciated! I made it to Canada because of the kindness and hospitality of people like you!

Family owned, very friendly! Lots to do in the area. Dog friendly which was a huge bonus for us. Quiet rooms. Fire pit, full use of kitchen, grill and outdoor area. Will definitely come back!

Very nice motel. Clean and cozy rooms, very scenic property, and a great location close to many nice Vermont towns, but still remote enough to experience the wonderful Vermont outdoors. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is GREAT!

I honestly can't find one thing to complain about. New management has taken over they care of the property. They are currently doing renovations and improving the property where needed, and I must say they've thought of everything! The room I stayed in is decorated such that it actually makes you FEEL like you are on a ski/hiking/camping vacation. It had a full-size fridge and freezer so that I could store my ice cream without it melting like it normally does in a mini fridge, the bed was extremely comfortable with pillows and luxury sheets that I could tell were probably were hand-picked by the owner, and a premium cable TV package, not that I spent much time watching TV. The room had a double slider overlooking the beautiful outdoor common areas and the lake. Out here, there's a stone fire ring and several adirondack chairs set up for roasting marshmallows, a covered grill area, and kayaks available for use on the lake. There's even a coin-operated washer and dryer available for use to wash your clothes. The property is centrally located to hiking trails in the area, grocery stores and restaurants, and ski lifts for all of the winter activities close by. And finally, I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised by the management here. Brenna went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed, And that my time here was enjoyable. I can't recommend Pinnacle Lodge highly enough!

Cozy spot halfway between Stratton and Manchester Center VT. Very clean with nice southern Vermont views. Easy contactless check in/out. A couple places deliver. Would stay again when skiing Stratton or nearby ski areas.

Open sky, the Green mountain all around, a little pond trails, full kitchen, gas bbq ( gas included) fire pit ( firewood included) I mean clean comfortable quite dark as it should be, close to the magnificent town of Manchester and worth the price. Im going back again for sure

Great place to stay while hiking the long trail, shuttled us all over town.

This place was exactly what we were looking for.
Clean, nice rooms, very private feeling, but close to everything.
We relaxed in chairs by the pond, used the kayaks provided, and had a nice fire.
We’ll definitely be back our next time through.

Just arrived home after a beautiful stay at the pinnacle lodge , the hosts are amazing! Kitchen for guests to use and a fire pit, will definitely be going back!

Lovely place to stay! Small walking path and kayaks along with clean rooms with wifi fridge and shared kitchen with lots of things provided for guests

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Pinnacle Lodge. Great relaxing place to recharge , just a half mile off the Long Trail .
