I have never, EVER had a better, more considerate, compassionate and COMPETENT physician in my life. And to make things any better is that she has the best, friendliest, most professional and competent staff I have EVER experienced. I left my last doctor because they had such a horrible staff. Dr. Rhonda's staff emulates her in that they go out of their way to accommodate my health needs. I cannot say enough good about Rhonda, Jenna, Jackie and Robin. I LOVE these people! Now I have my wife with them, and she feels the same way.

I'm a patient and fan of Rhonda, she is truly one of a kind. She is the only doctor I still use in/near Louisville, she listens, test and explains everything. She doesn't just give you meds and send you away until your next visit. All other Louisville doctors I've replaced with doctors in Lexington. I drive 60 mins one way to see Rhonda and 90 mins to the others in Lexington. I've found personally that doctors in Louisville are not up to par with finding out what is wrong with someone, rather give you pills, don't like to have a patient that ask questions on treatments and suggest mental therapy. 13 years I wasted on Louisville doctors, I've been very ill... now 2 visits to UK and 3 test later (1 year due to covid outbreaks) they have found the problems and now I'm scheduled for a couple surgeries to fix. Mental therapy was never going to fix my issues, my issues weren't in my head, I was so insulted over and over by their demeanor. When you get older, your care team needs a big checkup. Go where you feel you're being treated with respect as a person and patient... Rhonda is this type of person and therefore it's part of her as a doctor. I feel blessed to have her as my primary.

Love Dr. Hettinger! She's extremely thorough and genuinely cares for her patients! Ms. Robin is AMAZING! Each time I have had to get blood drawn she has got me on the first try. I actually didn't even know she stuck me! This NEVER happens! When I have been anywhere to get my blood drawn it usually takes 5-6 times and they finally just go for my hand... OUCH!!! You won't find much better than here!

Thorough and Compassionate care!

Wonderful doctor, truly the best PCP I’ve had in a long time. However, the wait times are a little ridiculous. My husband and I often end up sitting in the waiting room for an hour or more past our scheduled appointment time, with zero explanation. Great doctor, friendly staff, but the disregard for patient’s time feels really disrespectful and frustrating.

Refers to herself as doctor which is truly misleading considering she's a nurse practitioner
