Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! Ordered the All American Cheeseburger with provolone cheese. Came with fries and drink. Food is fantastic. The atmosphere an music is like stepping back into the 1950s. The only thing missing was the rolled jeans or poodle skirts with Bobby socks and oxfords. Customer service is great too.

It was my first time in the restaurant. I LOVE IT! The retro 50's style is the decor of the restaurant. The staff was VERY nice. And the selection of burgers was awesome! The crinkle fries are perfect! I did not have one negative thing to say about the place.

Awsome place for self or family. When you step through the door you are instantly transported to 1950's with the music and decor. Food is delicious. Burgers are amazing. And kids meals get served in little pickup trucks. Would encourage all of you to visit Hwy55 in Jeffersonville IN on Highway 62.

Great service. Food fast and delicious! We had 4 different orders, all good. Enjoyed listening old music even got up and danced. We had a great time at this little place.

I'll go back, nicely decorated. Wish there was a classic soda fountain but otherwise I really enjoyed the 50s era artwork on the walls. The Andy's burger was tasty and portion size was perfect. The cardboard car 57 Chevy was really cool.

What a fun place! Terrific burgers! I used to work at a fifties themed restaurant in college so this is a really fun nostalgic place and the delicious food is magnetic. I am certainly be back.

Loved the Andy's Bacon Cheeseburger with 🍟! The 50s themes is so well done. The service was amazing. We went during the grand opening. We had to wait for a table, but it was worth it, and we will be back!!

My wife and I went here tonight for the first time. We loved the atmosphere and the music. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and had great service the entire time. We both ordered a burger and I also ordered and Oreo shake, we loved it all! We left stuffed and highly impressed! We will be back here again!

This is an amazing little diner. Has a great atmosphere, good music, and excellent staff. The burgers are top notch and taste simply amazing. The patties themselves are thick and juicy and the sauce for the John Boy & Billy is phenomenal. Great place to go! The only downside is that they could get some better French fries.

Love this place! We tried it for the first time today and was not disappointed. We both got a burger and one order of fries/tots, both were great. We seated ourselves and had a waitress bring us menus in <5 minutes. The food was brought out super quick too. We'll be back soon!

Fifties themed fun place! Good food, friendly service and awesome atmosphere.

We stopped in for shakes right before they closed on our way into town. I love the atmosphere, it's like a step through a time machine. The staff were all teenagers, and some of the friendliest and nicest young people I've encountered in food service. I can't attest to the food, because we just got milkshakes, but they were some darn good milkshakes. Will definitely be back if we're ever through the area again.

We ordered Triple cheese burger dressed with onion rings and BLT on sour dough bread with crinkle cut fries and 2 milk shakes. Great food. Hot and fresh. Great service...but they were not busy. I ordered take out. $32 for all that. It was good though. I would go again.

We came here because I have a City Saver coupon. My husband loved his burger. He is hard to impress, so when he said he would come here again, I was impressed. I had the chicken cheese steak. It was good and I love the Crinkle fries. Did not order any milkshakes. We would eat here again.

This place has one of the best burgers around, 2nd only to Freddy's. Their frozen custard is soooo good too. I'm not crazy about the curly fries, but they are OK. The cheese steak sandwiches with jalapenos are also a great alternative if you aren't in the mood for a burger. The hot dog is bright pink and deep fried, I would avoid that for sure. Everything else on the menu is pretty good though and the service is also friendly.

Staff qas incredibke, absolutely the best. Food was excellent also. Shakes incredibke, with a whole bunch of flavirs to choose from. Give it a try, and be adventerous and try a flavor you have not had. Will not be disappointed. Hats off to staff and manager. So incredibly kind turned a bad day into an awesome one.

Visited the location on Friday, May 17. There is something here for everyone. Love the retro look, music and feel of the place. Our waitress was so courteous and personable. When she brought our check, I asked to speak with the manager as she definitely deserved a nod. She was the manager! Go in and meet Aiyanna....you will be glad you did. Enjoy!

I like this place. The food is good. They have really good "custard" which ia like ice cream. Service is decent. One negative is the main door opens up to the outside. So if you go there and it is cold outside, sit in the back. Otherwise, you will get bursts of cold air as patrons come and go.

Good Food, service was fair, could be a little better. Just need to thinking what a customer coming to their restaurant, would need to eat, and how good being served needs to look when present to your customer. A 5.99 Brownie sundae that looks like a bowl of soup. Family will return again soon to try it again. Thanks!!

Great food. Especially the nachos. Reasonably priced as well. Would definitely eat here again. Will also recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Keep up the good work. The servers ate very nice and quick. Didn't have to ask for one refill. She kept our cups full.
