The Naked Monkey

This is my second time visiting The Naked Monkey for a Brazilian.

Like the first time, I was anxious and super nervous - even though I knew what to expect. Hey, it's not a pleasant experience anyway, right?

My appointment was with Delahna, and she will be the only one that I will see from now on. She is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! She knew I was nervous, explained the entire process before she got started, made sure I was 100% comfortable, and allowed me to take "breaks" between each strip. Afterward, she told me to lay still for a few and catch my breath before getting dressed. I felt she truly cared for me during my appointment.

I didn't get the girls name that was at the front desk, but she was equally as helpful with purchasing exfoliation products.

Overall, I'm glad I returned. If you're on the fence about getting a Brazilian done, do it! The pain only lasts a couple of seconds, but you'll feel so much better about yourself!

This place is amazing! I went for my first wax and it was a great experience. It wasn't awkward and they were done fairly quickly. I scheduled my second appointment but unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to an another conflicting appointment. They were so understanding and kind! Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Location great. Parking plentiful. The facility is immaculate. The technician was efficient and pleasant.

They are super professional, caring and do a GREAT job. Delana at the Greenwood branch does a fantastic job.

Everyone was so nice at the greenwood location. Its very personal and sometimes embarrassing to have hair grow where you wish it would not and in some places you cant get hair to grow. The staff was kind, did not make me feel weird or awkward. I have been to the location on Indiana Ave in Indianapolis and that was not the case at all. Bravo ! Greenwood location.

I have been hesitant on waxing. After a terrible at home waxing experience. Ashley and I grew up in the same town. I was a bit shy to get a waxing since we are acquaintances. She has been very helpful with information. She talks you through the waxing. Ashley is very professional! Definitely recommend and I have scheduled my follow up!
(I would bring a stress ball or stuffed animal to squeeze 😅)

Hardly ever do I leave reviews, but I just have to share how great this place is! I’ve had very bad experiences before at other places with getting my brows done. Here it has been nothing but great! My brows are always shaped perfectly and the wax is always the right temperature (I’ve had experiences at other places where I’ve been burned by the wax)! Highly recommend this place! It’s worth the money!

Ashley made my first experience getting a brazilian wax super easy and comfortable!! Will definitely keep driving all the way back to the Greenwood location to see Ashley again!

Was able to get in for an appointment and even a reschedule, without delay. No strays! Great staff. Parking is free and in abundance, close by at that.
