Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Terre Haute

Book this hotel for my wife and she said both the people as well as the hotel have been extremely nice. I had read previous reviews some were slightly mixed. However, although I would never discount someone else's review as that was indeed their experience or at least their thoughts. My wife's opinion of both the people at the desk who checked her in as well as the staff in the breakfast area and others at the hotel have been outstanding! My wife is a bit of a clean freak and she said the room was extremely clean and she has not said that to me about all hotels, so for her to say that is a good Testament to the cleaning being done at the hotel. Sometimes hotels don't always get a fair Shake and they do have ups and downs depending on who is working there at any given time. Although their phone system had been worked on the day my wife checked in and was supposedly fixed the company that came in unfortunately did not complete the job very effectively. So if you go to try to call right now you probably won't reach the front desk and it's not because they're not answering it's because their phone system is still not working properly. But hey we all use cell phones for the most part other than to call the front desk so that has just been a minor inconvenience. All in all I would recommend this hotel based on my wife's recommendation and she is extremely picky and honest. Enjoy your stay in Terre Haute it's a wonderful town full of very warm and genuine people. Thank you for making my wife stay both pleasant and memorable as it could be!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast included. I am rarely in Terre Haute, but if I should return would be happy to stay here again.

Amazingly friendly staff and a very nice hotel for the price. Pool was out of order but for once my kids didn’t mind, we were literally just here to sleep and shower. Oh, but look for the La Quinta sign when looking for the road to turn on, I’ve never seen a Fairfield Inn sign as small as this one, and the trees kind of hide the front of the hotel lol

My family had a comfortable one night stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond when my toddler left his beloved Teddy Bear behind. The staff sent the bear back to our home address along with the cutest handwritten letter (written by the "Teddy bear") It was very sweet and my son was SOOOOO happy

We had a great time. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were perfect. Clean and spacious. Plenty of table/desk space. The only complaint I have is there were no liners in the trash cans and the door to the pool says whirlpool, but then you go in and it looks like they used to have one but it got filled in. The pool was really fun though.

You usually can’t go wrong going with one of the Marriot or Hilton Brands when traveling. I was not able to get into the two hotels in downtown areas but was equally happy staying at the Fairfield Inn near the Highway. Super close to shopping, Restaurants and a only a few minutes from Downtown. Friendly, courteous front staff (Coleen) was very helpful as I have been sorta “special needs” lately. Thanks for being kind and understanding! They have a warm breakfast as well, unlike most places these days that use “Covid-19” to limit what services are provided. Not this place “Waffles”, hot bacon or sausage, waffle maker setup, cereal and the usually take away packaged snacks and muffins.

Terre Haute is our halfway point between KS & PA. We stayed at the Fairfield two times in a week. I have only wonderful things to say. The staff is very accommodating! The breakfast attendant, Bonnie, is so friendly! She thoroughly wiped down and brought me a high chair and asked several times if we needed anything. (We stayed at a nearby hotel in the past with a less than friendly breakfast attendant!) Great breakfast, clean rooms. We’ll be back!

Can't say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Very well maintained. Rooms very clean. Staff takes pride in their work and is super courteous to the guest and makes you feel like you are old friends. High praise to this manager and her staff. A++ over all rating. Price was more than fair and the pool was great for the kids. Thank you Fairfield in Terre Haute for a great stay!!

Great place to stay, plenty of restaurants around for the business traveler. Rooms are clean, service is awesome and the breakfast is really good as well. My go to place when I am in the area.

Our room was clean, temperature was good and service was impeccable! The breakfast was good and hot. It had a lot to choose from too. I love breakfast so that's important to have so many choices.

Best hotel in Terre Haute, we will be staying here every time we come through now. Staff is amazing, my wife left her air pods and they found them and gave her a call. They also brought us up a couple extra pillows real late when we asked. Breakfast is amazing. The NICEST staff I’ve ever been around - thank you Fairfield Inn for taking care of us like we are family!

We stopped on our way out they town. Our arrival time was close to 10:30 pm. Rose was the front desk clerk and I asked her for a discounted rate since we arrived so late and she was very accommodating and wonderful. The room was beautiful and very clean. The breakfast buffet was extremely satisfying, and a lot to choose from. The only disappointing part is the hot tub was not working and after driving 5 hours straight this would have been nice to use even for a bit. The pool was a bit cool. But I would give this a solid 4.5!

Great stay. Great staff. Great location. I suspect there's some fake 1 star reviews here because the location has a few competitors next door.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable the breakfast was great. Around many great restuarnts. However, I do have a couple of negative things to say about it. There was a front desk employee that was refreshing the breakfast and dropped some of the bacon on the counter and picked it up with her bare hand and just threw it in with the rest of the bacon. That's disgusting! The other thing was the whole time I was there 6 days the housekeeperscame in everyday and never put a trash bag in any of the trash cans. I thought that was weird. All then that it was a great stay. Much recommended!

My wife and I recently stayed here. The room was clean, had both a microwave & mini fridge. Violet, the evening front desk attendant, helped me with my reservation as well as addressed our needs when we arrived. We will book there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Just as everyone else said, the beds are GREAT! My agent who checked me in and also helped me with my non operational TV in my room deserves 5 stars as well. I love her personality! Very cheerful and helpful!

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and never had a bad experience the staff is always very friendly the rooms are always taken care of and if there's anything that ever pops up they're always on top of it right away parking is a little bit tricky but they do have spaces for large vehicles the only bad thing I can say about this hotel is it doesn't seem to be that they can figure out how to get the pool working otherwise in that I stay there every time I come through the area
