Bower's 7th & 70 Liquor

My wife's went in here a couple times over the past couple weeks. They was very helpful when she had questions and if she wasn't able to find something. They took her over to where to find it and if they didn't have it on the shelf. They went into the back to see if they had it back there. Prices are fair and the people inside are great.

Nice people, great Scotch's rums and bourbons, and they have an outstanding wine cellar.

Has a very large selection of wine in terms of variety, most likely the largest in all of Terre haute. The prices are relatively reasonable for wine. They offer wines from all over the country and world. Moreover, since it’s an older place you can find some uniquely old gems. Generally if I’m looking for a wine something out of the ordinary and not wanting to bust my pocket, then I’ll come here. This also applies for the liquor and beer selections, however I’m not there as often. 110% would recommend for an interesting wine experience that you wouldn’t get from most of the liquor stores in town.

Also the people are very friendly, but maybe not the most knowledgeable if you are a very experienced sommelier. I Vinno would be your best friend.

I've known Wayne since I was a child. He's a very awesome person. His stores are always clean, folks are always friendly and helpful. Plus the prices are great as well. Can't say enough good things.

These guys got my Rolling Rock beer special ordered in their store and that truly made my entire year and Holliday's so much better... All I wanted was some Rolling Rock, that's it, and when every other storefront fell short, these guys made it happen... They got it done. I'm a customer for life. Thank you so much. Good wide variety of beer and wine. One half of the store is dedicated to their wine selection. Guys in there were helpful in selecting a rose. Been in there before also for help choosing a whiskey to gift. Staff is knowledgeable, honest & happy to help, not stuffy or stuck up about it at all. Also have been in for just our "regular" runs when in town and practically always have what we need.

This liquor store has everything you would ever need to have a fully stocked bar. It's a large space and the shelves are always fully stocked with a vast variety of all of the top brand names, styles, and flavors of all your favorite beers, wine, and liquor. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the owner of the establishment even came out and personally handled my transaction. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

They are always willing to help find any products that you are looking for.

This is my first (and usually last) stop when I need anything to stock my bar. Friendly staff and the selection is excellent!

I've had liquor stores tell me they would order things for me in the past and never follow through. That didn't happen here! I asked for a bottle of Laird's 86 proof Applejack. They ordered a shelf full for me. I've been buying it a bottle at a time since.

I spent 2 days searching Cincinnati for 2 different liquors. Had I went to 7th and 70 before I left home, I wouldn't have had to search. They had everything already.

Huge selection, helpful staff, and reasonably priced. If you're looking for something, they'll have it or no one else will.

There was a lot of alcohol in there, it was awesome. We had some help with a wine that my boyfriend and I liked. Best service we had anywhere. Recommend going there if you have the chance, you will not be disappointed.

Our hotel sent us to Bower's and upon entering we met Wayne the owner. We were greeted as if we were family and given a map of Terre Haute to navigate to the best restaurants in town. Wayne's rec. were great and we enjoyed our stay and were able to find places of interest as well as drink great wine because of His input.

Best selection of whiskey (bourbon or otherwise) and respective prices in town. Only other place that is worth checking for rarer whiskey is Big Red Liquors on South 7th.
