I thought I knew about shoes and boots and how to size them, but I was wrong and was actually wearing the wrong size shoes! This is the only place I will purchase shoes from now on. It is worth the drive of an hour or more. Trust me! This is an old-school service and they understand how your legs work all the way to your toes! Go to this store, it’s worth it! I only write reviews when it is deserved! If you need running, walking, cross-training, sandals, dress shoes (comfortable), hiking boots or just about any type of footwear, go to this store!!!!

Rodger & Lisa know their stuff! Lisa worked with me an hour to get my AFOs fitted in Brooks shoes. I love the service you get here. Lisa sized me years ago and I'd been wearing 1.5 size too small for years unbeknownst to me! I think every one should get sized and buy shoes here. You'd be surprised to find out you too may be wearing wrong size shoes! Excellent place...true gem in Wayne County.

They are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Sometimes they don't have my size so they have to order which is somewhat frustrating. They are more expensive but they have sandles with arch support so it's worth it.

I normally buy shoes online, but I stopped by Esmond's to see their selection. What I got was the best customer service, and a wonderful experience, which seems to be something rare now days. I highly recommend buying any footwear you need at Esmond's.

Roger is extremely professional. My grandson loves shopping here for tennis shoes/sandals. Their service is exceptional. They have a cool carnival mirror that kids love to see their reflection in.

I drove over there from Preble County, Ohio to buy a pair of shoes and I was immediately greeted with a smile by one of the owners. He sat me down, measured my feet and had me try on a few pair of shoes before I found the perfect shoe.

My wife and I will be buying our next pair of shoes at Esmond's.
They have great service and a wide variety of shoes. I paid $171 for my shoes and it was well worth the price. But then again, can you put a price on comfort?

Went to Edmonds shoes looking for a new pair of shoes. The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I shared with the staff what I was looking for and I talked about some pain I was having with my foot. The salesman listened, he offered a suggestion, made an adjustment to the insert in my shoe. Foot pain disappeared. Then he helped me find the right tennis shoes for my feet. Great place with helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable people. Would recommend.

I've always been hesitant to check this store out but I'm so glad we took our hard to fit kid in! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were waited on quickly as soon as someone freed up. They took the time to measure both of my daughters feet, brought out different shoes for her to try on and made sure we were comfortable with our purchases and didn't rush us out! And we spent less than we spent at some of the big box athletic stores! This is always be our first stop from now on!

Rodger is definitely a must go to if your having issues with your feet. He takes his time to find the right fit for you. Yes it is a little pricy, but the difference you feel walking out is definitely worth it.

This is the place to buy shoes. Old fashion service. High quality shoes. If you have problems with pain in your feet, legs or back they can watch how you walk and make recommendations for shoes. Including wedges for orthopedics. etc. Family owned. Worth the price.

I love this store. It is family run and they know what they are doing. They have a wide enough selection of shoes to fit many situations for your feet. I wear a molded brace and they found shoes to fit and adapted my other shoe to fit that foot. The store is well laid out and the displays are very attractive.
