Motel 6 Richmond, IN

Only giving 4 stars for the room rating (everything else 5 stars!) because there aren't microwaves in the rooms and my baby spits up a lot without warm milk, otherwise the room is nice, clean and spacious all the extra space as pictured, I had a king bed.
If you use hotel soaps and shampoo/conditioners, you'll need your own shampoo/conditioner l, they do give bar soaps. Also, the channels do not correspond with the channel guide that they give you.
Upon arrival there was a sign saying that the pool and hot tub are closed (doesn't matter to me I don't use these amenities).

We stayed here because we were traveling with our cat from Connecticut to California. They are all pet friendly. We were so comfortable in this very clean and well run motel, we booked motel 6 motels for 5 more nights all the way home.

Leaving this motel an overall 5 star rating because the price is extremely reasonable for what you get. This is a simple straight forward motel and we were traveling with both of our dogs and it worked out perfect for us. We had a separate entrance with our dogs and our rooms had hard wood floor which kept the rooms feeling clean. Do not book if you are expecting a top end hotel that has all the amenities that you would get at a hotel that costs $200+ / night - you won't find that here, which to me is totally fine. It's simple, straightforward, the staff were extremely friendly and it worked for a short stay. We felt safe in our rooms. The temp was great, everything worked, and I felt as if the room we stayed in was very clean.

This place met every expectation, and then some
I typically don’t leave reviews, but this place was beyond amazing to us. The employees there made sure everything was great for my husband, baby and I, and there were times they went above and beyond for us. We stayed there for almost a week, which didn’t break the bank given they were the cheapest motel in almost 50 miles. It was also one of the cleanest hotels with the most friendliest staff I’ve come across. Every person I encountered was absolutely amazing, the pool was clean, and the rooms were so nice. They let us extend our stay at the last minute and gave us good recommendations in the area. This place deserves every bit of five stars and then some.

Convenient, right off the highway, gas next door. Sharp and clean lobby. Sharp and clean halls. Sharp and clean rooms. Fridge in the room. Kept up well. One of the best motel 6s I've been to.

The Rooms are very clean and, modern and well kept. The front desk and other staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is right off Interstate 70 on U.S. 40. They do charge a $50 Deposit which is refunded quickly after checkout. Apparently, a hand full of individuals violated the No Smoking policy.

By far the best Motel 6 I have been to. Big room, bath tub, hot water, ac works, wifi is good, clean, no odd odors, amazing staff, guest laundry is running, clean fridge, no stained linen and pet friendly. I would definitely stay again. Thank-you.

Wow when I walked in...Beautiful! Each room is spacious. The beds are so comfortable compared to other hotels we have stayed at on our cross country road trip. They allow dogs in a certain area of the hotel and they have a separate entrance. Amazing staff as well. All over amazing experience for my boys, myself and the pups.

The gentleman that works Front desk at night is awesome! He went above and beyond for sure, on top of being polite, and friendly he had a good sense of humor, 😁 which is nice especially when traveling! Because, as we all know things are usually stressful anyway. Could be from traffic, or not having the correct directions, may be from car trouble. Whatever the circumstances a friendly person can always help change your mood. We were a bit early and he was kind enough to check us in soon as it was possible for him to do so! The room was nice, it was clean and nice and quiet, so peace and comfort was pretty easy to achieve.
The only thing that we had an issue with was Trying to get a late checkout. I asked one person and was told to call the front desk at a certain time, when I did the man was rather rude and told us no. But, overall it was a nice place and we got a good deal using an app.

Service desk wasn't the greatest. They didn't have a continental breakfast like advertised. On a good note, they do have nice amenities. They have a pool and a jacuzzi. Their gym equipment is out dated and a few were actually broken. The room looked clean and bug free. The hallways smelled like smoke.

Angela (?) at the front desk was fantastic helping me get a reservation when I realized I booked for the wrong day! Room was huge, with laminate flooring. Grounds well groomed. Nice and quiet!

We stay one night here as a walk in, and we were happy with our room. It was clean and we have stayed in so many hotels that this place was definitely not like a motel more like a hotel. The lobby has a beautiful entrance with the chandelier touch.

May not look like much from the outside, but the interior is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and kind. They even made sure to put me in a room close to where I could walk my dogs. My room was spotless, my bed was comfortable and the hotel was fairly quiet.

My dog and I had an amazing nights stay and Sarah at checkin was just wonderful looking forward to staying here our return home trip. This hotel was super considerate when it came to travelling with my pet and after many hours driving we were very impressed!

We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful stay! The bed was VERY comfortable! Very big room! Ours had a small refrigerator in it but NO coffee maker in the room but they had coffee in the lobby every morning starting at 4am. The was also a pool and hot tub but we never used they. They looked great though! Highly recommend staying here!!

Everything was great. Would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone. No elevator to 2nd floor. Just got heads up

I thought this was a great place to stay while on a cross-country road trip. The room was spacious, cheap, pet friendly, and there wasn't even a pet fee for our puppies! I also liked that the rooms did not have carpet.

I can’t believe this is Motel 6. Property is very clean. Room are spacious and staff is very friendly. I see some of the reviewers are complaining about not having shampoo in the room and limited channels in the TV. I suggest them to stay at Holiday Inn next door and pay twice the price. Don’t expect 4 - 5 star hotel service when you are paying for Motel 6 room rate. Among all the economy hotel I have stayed at, by far this is the most well kept property.
