Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattress Store

Tom Shaw greeted us as we entered. We explained what we were searching for and he gave us information and pointed us in the right direction. He gave us the freedom to look without a sales person hovering, and I deeply appreciated that. When we had questions he was available. We had the pleasure of finding just the right furniture, after having visited three different stores that day. Tom was professional, helpful, and very engaging. His approach to sales was very appreciated; not high pressure, but treated us with friendliness, humor, and respect. He even sent us an email thanking us for shopping with them.

Delivery was a breeze as well. We received texts letting us know the delivery time and who would be delivering. When the delivery guys showed up, they took extreme care to get the furniture in and left no marks on the walls or floors.

My experience with R&F was very positive and I would recommend this store, and especially Tom Shaw, to others.

Adore my new sofa/ lounger. Quality, comfortable and great service. Color is gorgeous green. My painting has not arrived. It will set it off and beautiful.

I loved the fact that after a sales person greeted us they did not bug us. They waiting until we found something we liked then asked if they could assist us. I will be back. Just wished after the furniture was deliver we didn’t have two dog pillows included but two additional black, gray and white striped pillows to match the other 4 we received. Regardless we loved the furniture.

This was a wonderful experience. This store has so much high quality furniture for so many rooms in your home - bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen…. many great choices!! Then you add our salesperson, Tom Shaw, with his warm personality, professionalism, furniture knowledge - he was great to work with and made the whole experience so much more pleasant with his no hovering but very available approach. His personalized email after the sale was so refreshing and showed such great customer service. Our delivery was so smooth, efficient and professional as well. We would buy more furniture here!

I wish I'd known about Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattress Store when I first moved to Delaware years ago. What an expansive, beautiful selection of furniture. Better late than never. I needed a mattress for my aging body. Sean met me at the door of the beautiful, clean and organized store. He was knowledgable, professional, personable, and friendly and walked me through the many mattress options with care and concern. I'd done my research but I wanted to hear what he recommended for my health/sleep issues. He was right on target and it was great to actually try out the mattress before buying. Within a short time, he had the organic split King, Twin XL perfect mattresses ordered for my special needs and arranged delivery within days, including taking away to current mattresses.I will return to take a closer look at the broad selection of lovely furniture. The personal touch, the selection, the quality, and displays were impressive. Best furniture store in DE!

Thomas was Amazing!

His sales approach and knowledge base of
products was very helpful. At times when I enter the store (historically) I almost feel pressured into a sales conversation. However not with Thomas I was greeted with a big smile and his understanding that I was just browsing when I entered the store.

At the end he took the time to walk me out of the store after the sale was finalized and left me with a few good jokes and a handshake.

Thomas was able to find me a perfect couch for my home and I definitely will be returning. Thank you Thomas!

Amanda is FANTASTIC! We picked our sectional out 3 months ago. We are building a new house, and the house has taken longer than expected. She was sure to keep us up to date on the status of the sectional. Finally got a date, she scheduled delivery instantly! We are so so happy with the service and can’t wait to have our new furniture. R&F has amazing furniture selections as well. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you will find it here! My husband and I have been to numerous furniture stores, multiple times over a 6+ month period and we just could not find what we wanted. We walked into R&F and was greeted instantly by Amanda. She told us that this was hopefully our last store we visited and she was right! 5 🌟 service!!!

A truly amazing fun day out with the crew shopping for furniture at your store ! What turned out to be our first stop was our only stop that day a fun time and a successful one! AMANDA our saleswoman was helpful ,patient, professional informative and a pleasure to work with ! Amanda knew when to give us input and when to give us space time to process and discuss on our own .Carol in customer care was excellent too -She was helpful and also great part of the team in assisting us with wrapping up the details,order and delivery ! Our sales person was very attentive, listened to our requests, preferences and concerns about budget. He wasn't pushy or hovering but was available to answer our questions when needed. Best of all, even though we made a small purchase, he treated us like anyone else making bigger purchases. His name is Mike Singleton. We will definitely keep his card, as we have other items to purchase for the house in the future.

Thomas Calderon help us, my wife and me through the process of buying all the furniture we needed .Mr. Thomas Calderon was very professional and very well knowledge of the furniture. We will buy again here in the future. They also offers a great warranty for the furniture

Mo Bejta was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. He was with us the whole time helping us and made the shopping trip even better. I love the furniture. Juan was attentive and helpful because of the volume of furniture needed. His opinion was never forced but mindful of my viewpoint. He was # (Juan) 1 in my book. The store is set up to easily accommodate looking and comparing styles.

Michael Singleton was great. He was knowledgeable and especially patient. We took our time making our decision to purchase but he simply provided the information and help we needed when we needed it. The delivery was also smoothly executed.

I will never buy a mattress or furniture on line again. What a terrific company this is and what a great store they have in Christiana! Joyce Proctor was the showroom manager and she was--in a word-- terrific. Everyone, from the phone customer service, to Carol in the Christiana business office, were so helpful and pleasant. I recommend this place highly!

My wife and I shopped for bedroom furniture at several stores across MD, PA and Delaware. We happened to stumble across Raymour and Flanigan and are extremely happy we did. They had the best prices for quality furniture and Rodney, our salesman was informative, professional and very helpful with making our choices. I highly recommend shopping at Raymour and Flanigan for all of your furniture needs.

I was greeted upon entering the store. The salesperson assessed the nature of my visit and specified the use of the products. The salesperson showed me 3/4 of the showrooms displays of what I was seeking. We discussed functional usage of each which help me stay focused to the intent of product usage. The salesperson verified pricing on several pieces with no resistance of my request. In 35 minutes I had narrowed down the items of interest. There was NO pressure and the salesperson was honest about product functionality.
The products purchased is of GOOD quality and will enjoyed for years to come.

I was looking a a certain color couch. And needed it quickly every major furniture store had a 90 day wait. I called Raymour and Flanagan. And salesperson Chris answered my call he was relentless in finding me my couch
And guess what. He did. I'm not a fan of salespeople. They're only concern is thier commission. But not this person. Chris was NUMBER ONE

Our salesman was so friendly and helpful. Gene Issac is the main reason we will come back again! The store was clean and well laid out. Everyone who worked there was nice!

Amanda was a pleasure to work with, from keeping in contact with us regarding upcoming sales, to making sure to inform us of all our options for protecting our new furniture and mattresses at checkout time. She is so nice and not overly sales-y :)

Tom Shaw has been our sales representative for quite some time at Raymour and Flanigan. He is always professional, courteous and makes our buying process easy. He also keeps us updated as to when our delivery is on the way. I would definitely recommend Tom as your go to guy for furniture.
