Morton's Auto Care

After breaking down 160 miles from home, we searched for a local repair shop on google. After finding Morton’s Auto Care and seeing their reviews, we decided to leave the truck and camper behind and wait until Monday for the shop to open.

Tuesday afternoon Steve called me and discussed what they found. After giving me a couple options it was decided the best course of action.

1 week to the day it was dropped off, a new transmission was installed, my camper hooked back up and towed it the 160 miles home, FLAWLESSLY.

Great pricing (compared to dealerships) for labor and OEM parts. Warranty included.

I would hands down recommend this business for any of your vehicle needs!

Knowledgeable and fair. They have always done great work on my vehicles. They communicate well on the issue and status of the repair as well as providing an accurate completion date. May be a little higher priced than other garages, but you get what you pay for. I don't hesitate what to tell people when they ask for a garage, its always Morton's 100% recommend

Always trust Morton’s Auto when I need any work done on my vehicles. Not disappointed this occasion either. The repairs I requested were made and more importantly found a serious safety issue that also was repaired , all at a very reasonable cost.

Morton's always does great work. They listen to what you tell them the vehicle is doing, even when you have trouble explaining it.

Took my 2000 F350 to Morton's for a wheel alignment after installing a leveling kit. Upon inspection, the team at Morton's noticed that ball joints needed to be replaced before an alignment could be completed. I also asked them to diagnose a coolant leak that I could not find on my own. They located the coolant leak and I was able to fix it on my own.

They got me in to replace ball joints and complete the alignment as soon as possible (was unfortunately 2 weeks after the initial diagnostic work) and did a great job on the service.

I highly recommend Morton's for front end work and diagnostic work. The owner, Steve, is extremely polite and goes out of his way to explain the repair work that needs to be done. They also came in under the price that they originally quoted, which is an added plus.

I will be back in the future.

I had a front end shake in my F250 and they diagnosed that a tire was bad. So I had them replace all 4 tires since they were all past their life expectancy and also do an alignment. Now I am back on the road and everything is great. They did an excellent job and I couldn't happier with their service.

I can not save enough for Morton's Auto. My Husband passed away about 8 years ago and that is when I started going to Morton's Auto. I have no knowledge of cars and Steve makes sure if there is something wrong with my vehicle that I fully understand what is wrong and how it will be fixed. I trust them to the fullest. They change my oil and helps me remember to take care of the basic stuff which my husband always did. I would highly recommend Morton's Auto.

Went in to see what my check engine light was from, and have it fixed. Very quick turnaround. Got it fixed for one part of the problem, and the light came back on. Dropped it back off over the weekend, and they figured out the rest of it. It’s running flawlessly now! Steve is great at explaining the issues in a way you can understand, and he’s honest about what work needs to be done, no push to upsell on unnecessary things that dealerships do. I’d recommend this shop to anyone around!

Morton’s replaced the engine in my ‘01 Wrangler. Various reasons on why it needed replaced, mostly it was due to poor work performed at another shop. Steve and his team tried a few different things before we finally decided to replace.
Steve has followed up with me several times since the engine was replaced asking if everything was functioning as it should. I had a check engine light come on a couple of times which were O2 sensors and those were replaced free of charge.
I’d recommend Morton’s to anyone needing service done on their vehicle. They have convenient drop off and pick up procedures in the event you can’t make it there during normal hours.

My commute was so much nicer after the folks at Morton's tracked down the source of my air conditioning difficulty and fixed. The clear explanation and delineation of paths forwards, and the costs associated with them made me feel confident in both the course of action and the investment I made in so doing.

I cannot say enough good about Morton's! Steve was SUPER helpful in every aspect of the engine issue and replacement, helping me understand the problem and assisting with the warranty company. I could not be more pleased with every person I dealt with at Morton's. Everyone is friendly and the company is definitely customer-centric. I have recommended them to anyone who has asked for a good mechanic, and I even went back for my oil change instead of going to my "normal" servicer for oil changes. Morton's has won a new customer!

It's so nice to have a shop you can completely trust. Steve and Robin always take such good care of us and our vehicles. I never worry about them upselling, like a lot of other shops do. If it needs done, they do it. If not, they say it can wait. We've never had a bad experience with them. My only complaint is that I wish I would have found them years before I did. Couldn't ask for better people!

My company brings our local fleet vehicles to Morton's, and they do a fantastic job. They have even fixed things that other local repair shops have done incorrectly. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The work they perform has been nothing less than excellent. Because they have done such an excellent job with our fleet vehicles, I have brought them my personal vehicles and have been nothing but delighted. I love the fact that they are reasonably priced and send me a report with photos of every issue they find. I feel like I am getting the best bang for my buck and not being taken advantage of.

Steve and Robin are wonderful, professional people. Any work I've had done gas been completed in a timely manner as promised. Prices are fair and nothing is done without permission. Everything is explained clearly and Steve makes sure you understand. I thought I needed a tune up once and he told me I didn't and explained everything was in order. To have someone honest is such a wonderful thing! I would trust Morton's and only Morton's with my car issues.
