This place will amaze you. It feels like you’re not even in Salt Lake City which is pretty impressive. The food was delicious and the service was even better. I see why this is a local favorite. I’ll be back!

This place is amazing, the atmosphere as you walk in is very welcoming. I went here to get a sandwich and the ladies behind the counter were so nice and friendly, and my sandwich was absolutely Amazing. I will definitely be returning again on my lunch breaks at work.

The Sandwiches here are really really good. They make them fresh with any topping you can think of for the most part. Super friendly people and I think it's family owned and I'm always supportive of any businesses that are family owned. They also have drinks, chips, soups, cookies and side salads like macaroni, potato etc.....If you want a sandwich that's big and that will fill you up then this is the place to go. No review can express just how AMAZING every aspect of this market is. I have gone here for nearly 22 YEARS & never one bad experience. My family took me here as a child & I have ordered the same ever since. The owners & staff are SO kind, attentive, personable, friendly & fast & they truly do care about every customer. The food is phenomenal & there are many great options. Fresh, made right in front of you sandwiches & a wide variety of side options, soups, veggies, chips, cookies, drinks & more including local options! Cute little market/convenience type store with the best service you’ll ever get. Be sure to leave a good tip, they always deserve it. They show support for law enforcement as well which always makes me smile to see. My absolute favorite restaurant, no question. Give it a try!

Wow! What a gem and wonderful sandwich and deli shop! The two owners are very friendly. We found out a short history how the shop has had two lives spanning 60 some odd years. It's first life was a fresh fruits and vegetables market. The building structure brought me back in time when the Salt Lake area had lots of farms and orchards; with the building having lots of garage doors that opened in the past and stands, full of colorful fresh fruits and vegetables, would be pushed out for customers to shop from and at the end of the day, pushed back in. For the past 30 years it has been a sandwich shop. The food is fantastic and the potatoe salad is so delish; reminding me of my mom's salad.

This local gem has excellent sandwiches made to order with daily specials. If they have a hot sandwich or BBQ the day you visit, get that amazingness! Their soups are great too. The market is small, but worth visiting on its own. They have local honey and artisan snacks along with gangster hip-hop chips I have never seen anywhere else

Small town type store. Made me feel like I was at the little shop that was across the street from my great grandparents house. Staff is friendly, food is delicious. Highly recommend the pastrami.

For over 23 years this has been my favorite sandwich shop. It is the bar I hold all others to, and all others come up lacking. So delicious, so delightful. I love everything about it.

I love this place friendly staff the owners always greet you and always in a great mood. Always feel welcome and there daily specials are good, I recommend for lunch or dinner they close at 3 so get in there quick.

This place has character and charm. It's a no frills joint for a delicious sandwich, soup or tamale. The staff were friendly...like very friendly. They treated me like I was a regular. There was a line at lunch hour but they moved us all along quickly.

Today was my first day. Everyone was super friendly and helped me out when I told them it was my first time. I had one of their Thursday off-the-menu specials which was a turkey roast sandwich. I am not a fan of turkey but this was the best turkey that I have had in my entire life! It was so moist and rich in flavor. 5 star service and food.

This little gem is one of the best places to grab lunch in South Salt Lake if you're looking for a great sandwich! They also have soups and sides and an awesome crew that make you feel welcomed and they take care of you quickly! It is more of a convenience store, but they do have some picnic tables if you want to have your lunch there. Big enough parking area that it's easy to get in and out.

I've driven past this place several times. You can tell it's been there for a very long time. I'd always wanted to stop in because the reviews have been really good. Turns out the reviews didn't lie. It's a little mom and pop shop deli sort of thing. Not a grocery. They had BBQd pork on their sign and that's what I got. I couldn't eat all of it because it was HUGE! My friend got a ham sandwich on Rye and she said it was spectacular. They were very friendly and super nice. We went to sit outside and on the table was this wet rag and I thought he must have gotten distracted in the middle of wiping, so I took it inside and he said no it stays on the table for people to wipe off their mess. We change them out periodically and put them in a bucket of bleach soap and water. What an awesome idea! I felt like a dummy. Haha. HONEY! They sell Honey from the vernal area you can get 2 lbs for $11.99!!! That's a steal! I'm going back for that. A+++

Amazing!!! Seriously can buy anything from the deli and it tastes so yummy! The staff is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming! Also great overall market to grab and go - glad we live close!!!

About 25 years ago, I had a business located in this neighborhood. I have since retired but I remembered this business today. I took a jaunt to find it and it was just as great today as it was 25 years ago. They make such great sandwiches and the staff is very friendly. Not like these chain stores that start with an s and end with a y. I have renewed my interest here and I will add it to my go-to place for sandwiches.

Choice of sandwiches, soups, chips, very large bags of good and plenties, Vernal honey, excellent, excellent! Try it out.
