Had a great guide trip with Brad. His boat and equipment were top notch. Knew exactly where to go and what to do for the conditions at the time. Great trip!

George is an amazing guide. Even though the weather was threatening foul. George tackled the morning. We caught more fish in 2 ½ hours with George than on my best full day in Texas. Thank you George we will remember this for a lifetime.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great suggestions for fly selection and fishing locations. Trout on the little red are very picky and flows have been low and water is gin clear. Store is very convenient to multiple fishing access locations.

Great place to check out they have everything you would ever need for a fly fishing trip. Great people very knowledgeable and very helpful and great advice. As a first time fly Fisher they helped get me some basics of casting tips and tricks an a little casting lesson in 42° weather outside with his equipment. I can't say enough about how welcome I felt by Mr. George Born (guide and owner) I go to Heber springs every Thanksgiving to visit family for the last 8 years this was the first time fishing the Little Red river and Mr. George made me promise to stop in and visit whenever I go back an I definitely will from now on. These guys could not be more helpful and nice. I’m relatively new to fly fishing and I learn something every time I visit the shop. Lots of shops make me feel dumb for not knowing the fly fishing lingo but not here. Their fly recommendations are always spot on and the casting lesson was incredibly helpful!

We had an Amazing trout fishing trip with Bill Willmert. Bill knew when and where to catch the trout. It was our first time fishing for trout and he did an excellent job of teaching us the correct method to set the hook. He is also very good at untangling line (Thanks Bill). Wives don’t be afraid to go, your husband can catch while Bill helps you. Everyone at the Ozark Angler were very friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to our next fishing trip with them.

George and his staff at Heber Springs are consummate professionals and always very helpful when I come in the store. If it is not super busy, George will even show you how to tie some great flies and help you with getting the right material to tie them up your self. Always stop by when I am through there!

I walked in to this shop with very vague questions with a budget fly rod at home. They didn’t push a sale on me, they only asked what I was wanting to do and where. I walked out with new fly line and some flys and caught fish the very next day. What a great place to get setup to fly fish.

I had a great experience with Mike Winkler this past week fishing on the Little Red River. His knowledge of the local waters and professionalism as a guide are very impressive. His quick ability to evaluate my skill level allowed him to accelerate choices of fishing locations and the type of fish we would seek. Ultimately, I had a day of a life time catching numerous types of trout as well as other game fish. I highly recommend Mike not only for his excellent expertise as a guide but his down to earth personality and demeanor that the client have the ultimate experience in every means possible. Had a great guided fishing experience with Ozark Anglers. Booking was easy and gear & equipment was first rate. Was fortunate to have Mike guide us for a drift of the Little Red. Mike is a passionate expert fisher with a strong conservation ethic. He knows the river well and has a great easy-going attitude. He delivered numbers and size. We lost count of total fish landed and released. My fishing partner hooked a big brown in one of the deeper pools. Epic experience!

A buddy and I stopped in Heber Springs for a day of fly fishing on the Little Red River. Unfamiliar with the area and in need of new waders and boots, we stopped by The Ozark Angler's shop.

The staff member were super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help with whatever we asked for, including: gear recommendations, sizing, best practices, local waters fly selection, walk-in locations along the river, and even great places to eat.

We were more than pleased by the genuine customer service and help we received while there, would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Stopped in to get supplies for a little trip to heber springs hatchery the guy was very nice and knowledgeable. Didn't tell you how good he was and he gave you tips and tricks for the area. When I was there he patched another guys waders for free. Please buy some flies from this shop. You will like the atmosphere

Whether you are a novice or seasoned fly fisher person, this store has it all. The personnel are very knowledgeable of not only the products but the fishing opportunities on the Little Red River. Although this store carries some equipment for the novice, they also stock some of the finest fly fishing gear available, including everything from rods, reels, clothing to a wide selection of hand tied flies. The store personnel will be happy to help you schedule a guided fishing experience and there is plenty of free advice about the sport. You can't miss with the Ozark Angler.

I had been looking for a certain SAGE fly rod and Ton Gazaway took the time over the phone to look through their stock and found one. he hooked me up with a rod, reel, backing line and leader. Tom was excellent to work with and had the rod mailed the next day, I will definitely call upon him or Ozark Angler Heber Springs again, also stop in when i am fishing the Little Red River. Ii give Tom five stars out of five
