Nice little park with a walking trail partly around it. There are about a dozen parking spaces, a gazebo with picnic benches, a pond with an aeration fountain in the center, and a paved path. There are no restrooms however, not even a porta potty. And there is no play equipment for kids. There are some old exercise stations, but most appear to be in disrepair.

There are lots of geese, and therefore both the trail and the grassy areas are covered with excrement. But it's fun to watch them as long as you remember to wipe your shoes before getting back in the car!

Family friendly and dog friendly this is a lovely place to picnic, walk, or relax with a good book that you bring from home or select from the small library adjacent to the gazebo. Ducks and geese have made this place their home so wearing shoes is a good idea. 😉

Nice clean and quiet park, the pond has nice fish in there. The people are nice as well, my only complaint would be the younger kids who show up to fish. They're rude, ignorant, and have no respect or manners for the fisherman next to them. And think they're gonna push folks off the pond so they can hog the entire pond with multiple sticks scattered all over the place, and have the audacity to give dirty looks and complain when their lines get crossed or something gets messed up.

Essentially they got told to back off if they wanted to keep their lines, and rods. I'm not the one for the disrespect and ignorance on the water from anyone who claims the title "fisherman". And they weren't going to try to push my fiance and i off the pond like they own the place, they can tell their parents if they want to I'll tell them the same exact thing.

The pond is amazing for fishing but make sure you use WEEDLESS FISHING GEAR! The pond is overgrown so much that you’ll get snagged on every single weed in the pond if you use non-weedless gear. I even catch weeds on a top water frog sometimes. I use the Z-man 3 inch bed rigs and I caught this beast on it!

Lovely park with pond and ducks galore. Paths are well paved and there is a little free library box there as well. Paved parking area. Dog friendly!

I love this park! Has a walking path and a pond with fountain and usually geese hanging around so you can get your walk in and enjoy the water and wildlife at the same time. Today I watched mommy, daddy, and babies while walking!

Beautiful park with walking trail and pond. Most of the trail is in the sun though. I believe fishing is allowed! My son and I like to feed the geese bird seed but some can be aggressive.

A great place to run a few laps and they have areas set up for other workouts. The atmosphere is great. An awesome spot for a light workout or to just go take in the sun and enjoy a nice day.

Its a great quiet park i would say its over all pretty clean except for all the geese poop everywhere... Fishing is not bad just alil too much grass though

Very clean park. Nice walking and benches. Nice pond but it is overgrown with weeds if you are trying to fish.

never been there but considered John as a great person who taught me so many life lessons. I miss him dearly. Such a nice well deserved tribute.
