They are former landlords of mine and are very good. I would rent from them again in a heartbeat. Currently looking but I don't think they have anything in my price range

My husband and I had a bad experience with our first shot at home buying, but with JCS it is has been a completely different experience. They've been quick, responsive, knowledgeable, and considerate of our budget/needs. Thanks for making this experience an awesome one.

JCS Realty is extremely unprofessional. Please DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! Our experience with Cole Stevenson was frustrating as he never wanted to speak with us. It now makes sense why our first maintenance man tried to warn us.

We received a termination letter and were told we had to be out by November 30th of last year. We moved out by October 31st, but before we left, we asked Margie if we would be charged for November’s rent if we moved out before November 1st since they terminated us. She assured us that we would not be charged and to let her know when we were moving so we could be removed from the draft. We found a new home and started packing. I have text messages proving that we informed her on October 26th to take us out of the draft. We called again to remind her but received no answer, so we went to the office.

Margie pretended she didn’t know what we were talking about and kicked us out of the office. I emailed Cole, the broker, on October 27th at 1:13pm because Margie lied, claiming we couldn't contact him. Cole responded on October 30th with an unsatisfactory reply.

They later sent us a letter charging us $5000 for fraudulent claims, including needing to paint the walls and fix a gap in the door. We had previously reported the gap because it was letting in huge spiders, but they dismissed it as not being major and refused to fix it. They sent us to collections as well.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Pretty disappointed that upon move out we were stuck with a bill that was larger than our security deposit stating that we needed to pay for the labor of repainting the house, and pay to replace to two widows that were cracked upon move in. After reaching out to the company stating that we didn't believe this was fair and we would be more than happy to pay if we broke something but we did not crack the windows, we were then sent to collections without notice and have not heard back from the company even after reaching out. The company also switched maintenance employees 3 times while we were there and when we reached out to these employees during out "checks out the house" we told them that the stove was sparking and the burner only half way heated up but never heard back after telling them, it took 2+ weeks to get the garage door fixed when it came off the track and we are overall just dissatisfied with the lack of communication from a company that we used for 3 years and left the house in wonderful condition. If you move in to one of their properties document every single thing because they will try to charge you even if you did not do it.

JCS reality comes off as super nice in the beginning. But as soon as you sign paperwork, they no longer care about any ethics what so ever. They will charge you for damage that was already there and threaten you with their attorney. When they know they are in the wrong and you show proof instead of rectifying it. They call the police on you. So they do not have to deal with the repercussions of being slum Lords. They do not care how old or disabled you are. They will keep raising your rent every year. When you try to speak with them, they are extremely rude and non communitive, They will point the blame at each other instead of taking responsibility for what it is that they have unjustly done. I wonder if they can sleep well at night with the inhumane treatment that they give to everybody. Verbatim, Google will define Arkansas as being the only state in the entire country that does not have to give you a habitable Dwelling. Habitable dwelling means the bear Minimum and unfortunately, JCS Realty takes full advantage of this. Do as you will with this information. But I strongly suggest you go with either a private owner. Or a more replicable company that doesn't belittle you or their employees that don't follow suit.

This realty company is terrible at communication and answering the phone. Me and my family have tried calling numerous times over the last three weeks, all during office hours. I will be posting my email to them everyday until I get a response.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth and I recently moved out of 300 S Main st Ste B. I have tried calling multiple times the last three weeks to get my security deposit issue fixed. Based off of the invoice received for the security deposit, paint cost $325, labor was $850 (which is about 29 hours of labor), and cleaning was $250. I would like to receive a receipt for all products purchased to “repair” the apartment as well as pay stubs for the labor hours. With all due respect we left the place way better than we received it. When we moved in there were plates in the cabinets, dog hair on the floor, cleaning products and chemicals under the sink, water marks all over the paint, and laundry products in the laundry room. We were infested with termites twice, to which we told management and they never offered to clean it up. We have videos of termites falling from the ceiling. We lived for two weeks with no heat at 45 degrees, and after multiple texts and an email it was finally fixed within the day, we were never offered alternative heat resources. The pipes leak in the living room, the door to the street had to be fixed on multiple occasions and never really quite locks to the outside. A neighbor painted on the outside of our door and destroyed a hanging wreath that I had hanging up. I mentioned this to management/maintenance and it was never fixed or painted over. The handrail on the stairs to the apartment fell off it’s screws three times. We have videos and pictures of how we left the apartment when we moved out. We will take this to small claims court if the issue does not get fixed. Please call so that we can resolve this issue.

After dealings with this company I can easily see why their reviews equal 2.7 stars. A the top of the list, very poor communication. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else, anyone else when buying or leasing. We wish we would have had this intel when moving to Jonesboro. Thankfully we found a great company to work with the 2nd time around.

Due to corp transfer, In town house shopping for a day and called to ask about a home and if me and wife could view it. Was told that the person who shows that house was not in and if we wanted to see it we would need to spend $30 for an application just to view it. A few days later I called and emailed back about another house as well as text the agent for rentals. Not one response from anyone.
