Hideaway Cabin

This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I've ever had the pleasure of staying at! The cabin itself was beautiful and the rolling hills and trees all around us were so soothing! I will for sure return here again!

If you are going to this area, this is the place to go! It is so nice and SO clean. I have not been so impressed with a place to stay in many years. I can't say enough good things about the Enchanted Forest resort, and our cabin, Hideaway! We really liked how the cabin was tucked away, on it's own. There was a little creek down the hill on side of it, we saw 2 deer eating right before the cabin's driveway. We hiked to the cave and it was an easy hike, we were surprised how far the cave goes back, it was a fun thing to do, and it was just us two when we went, we didn't see anyone else on the trail or at the cave. The cabin itself was so clean, they have any kind of tv you may want to watch, the heating and a/c both work great! (The weather was moody while we were there, so we used the heat and a/c, lol)
The fireplace works great too. The bed was very comfy, we didn't wake up sore like we normally do when not sleeping at home, that was definitely a plus!! The owners have EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the cabin for you, dishes, plenty of clean towels for a few days, new dish towels and sponge. They even have coffee and creamer. We felt perfectly at home our entire stay. We will be going to visit this place again.

It's very quiet and peaceful...

Decently priced and secluded.

This is a wonderful cabin in the woods! It was quiet and private but still close to everything we wanted to see and do. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are downstairs and the bedroom with a hot tub is upstairs. The kitchen had dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, full size refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is a tv on both floors, but no cable. We don't have cable at home so not an issue for us. The cabin was clean. It had a large deck and balcony. We stayed 4 nights.There is a short walking trail and a large cave on the property. I would have liked to explore in the woods but the manager said there is poison ivy in the woods so we stayed on the gravel road or foot path to the cave. I would caution about the stairs; they are beautiful, highly polished wood and quite slippery. We are fit and active people but past 60 yrs old and have to go to the bathroom several times during the night, so we were very careful going up and down the stairs. This is the only reason I did not give the cabin five stars. I definitely recommend this cabin, unless your mobility is limited.
