Lake Frierson State Park

We had a baby shower at the enclosed Pavillion and it was so nice and clean. There were plenty of windows so you still had the feeling of the outdoors with the comfort of not worrying about temperature or any other element of the weather. If you are planning a family get-together or party, this is definitely worth it!!

Lake Frierson State Park is an amazing place to visit. The lake was really nice and calm. There is a both ramp, a kid's playground, and barbecue grills with nice picnic spots. The park is relatively clean. Since my visit was in the wintertime, there were not any activities going on, and trees were all leafless and naked brown. I bet it's going green and beautiful in other seasons. I definitely enjoyed my visit. Hopefully, I get to visit there in the summer and enjoy kayaking. I am looking forward to the summer to revisit Lake Frierson State Park.

a very quiet place to enjoy with the family, in addition to many green and shady areas, it has access to boats and tables where you can eat and barbecue where you can grill meat, it has a small pier where you can stop to fish and enjoy the beautiful view. Very nice place personally I liked it a lot.

Always a great place to get photos. Leaves are starting to turn and fall and the Temps are nice and cool.

Beautiful park with hiking trails and big lake for fishing (camping available as well). Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

Very cool State Park😁 The campground is small, as in not a lot of rv/tent sites. But, that is one of the things I really liked about it! The sites have plenty of space, you aren't right up on your neighbor. Beautiful throughout🌈!

It was quiet and the water was so peaceful. There was a family enjoying a picnic nearby. Lovely day, though a little warm. The breeze off the water was perfect. We were visited by a beautiful heron enjoying the coolness of the water.

Nice little park. Fishing Pier with a kids play area close by with picnic tables,Boating, Camping area,Picnic areas and a very nice Indoor Pavilion you can rent that overlooks Lake Freirson. Lake Freirson is known for fishing mostly. It's in a good location for shopping if you was to need anything..under 20 miles to Jonesboro or Paragould. The park is well taken care of.. it seems anytime we go to the park employees are out doing work in the park. Sure thankful it's close to us.

I have visited the lake area on more than one occasion, but never explored the trails. I was amazed at the natural beauty this state park offers!!!

To ALL of the associates: "THANK YOU!" Our weekly visit for exercise has been one I've enjoyed since the damming of the ridge, and the park was created. All year long you can see the pack (DogsBeGone) on the levee enjoying the beauty & spirit of the park.

We arrived at open to secure a spot by the water for the eclipse. There isn't a daily fee and the staff was very friendly. Thank you Arkansas!

Nice park, picnic table very close to lake, great views

This is my favorite place to get away from town, my family has been coming here since it was completed. Great fishing too!

Great things come in small packages. While this park is small, it’s a beautiful park and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The whole place is peaceful and quite. There’s not a whole lot of camping spots but that’s a plus in my book, less people.

Love it here, peaceful, and relaxing. Playground for the kids. Lots of picnic tables and grills. Clean restrooms.

Cathy was fabulous! They have (4) 30 amp spaces. Also 2 of the larger variety. I arrived on a day during the week and observed a few fishers on the lake. Awesome view, will definitely take pics on next trip with my camper van.
