Los Taquitos De Puebla Delaware

I had beef steak tacos and refried beans, delicious. My husband had the beefhead tacos which you don't find always, he also had grilled vegetables. He enjoyed his food very much. Our Dos Equis nice and cold. If you like authentic Mexican then this is a good place to check out. The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is because not everyone is okay with torn seats, not all but some. I have been to Mexico and it is very authentic, and the bathrooms were very clean. Tacos were absolutely delicious. It was a little busy during lunch, seems a lot of local workers were here on their break, but it was worth the wait. Plenty of delicious meat inside the tacos. The guac is great! Everything was served with a smile. We WILL be back. The bistec con nopales was also delicious, came with beans and rice too.

Don't let the look of this place fool you, the food here is delicious and authentic and always fresh. It is my favorite place to eat Mexican food in Delaware so far. The prices are good and the portions are large. Be warned though, the salsas they make there are no joke. The red one has some fantastic heat behind it. If you can't take spicy, stick to the green salsa. I'm pretty sure they have a secret avocado garden somewhere because they always have fresh and perfectly ripe avocados here.

We've been trying more mexican places near us lately and so far, this one takes the cake. Unbelievable authentic food.

I've been eying this restaurant for some time as I pass it when I travel between the Wilmington College Main Campus and Wilson Graduate Center. It's tucked along the southbound exit lane for 141, so it's easy to miss.

I stopped in shortly after they opened for a take out lunch order and the lingua tacos were excellent as was the green, tomatillo sauce. Very authentic like a small taqueria. The menu is extensive and appears quite authentic to my San Diego raised eyes.

They have plenty of indoor seating with a picnic style outdoor seating area, which I didn't have time to check out.

I plan on going back with the wife and future lunch takeout.

For anyone who wants a bite in the area, I do recommend this place, very delicious food, and cool staff

Best restaurant in Delaware their food is amazing and it’s not greasy

Might not be the fanciest place but they sure know how to prepare some delicious genuine food. I'll be back again soon to try more off their menu. Such a treat to find!

Great food, good prices, big portions. Service was good, but a little slow. It's the best Mexican food I've found in the county so it's easily worth any small drawbacks.

The food here is delicious!!! I’ve tried so many things I can’t name everything. I have never been disappointed. It taste so authentic and great portions!! Highly recommend. Staff so friendly! A little language barrier but not too much.

They have the best chocolate flan. All of their food is great though.

AUTHENTIC!! Family owned restaurant that serves delicious food from their extensive menu. Their chips are homemade and their sauce comes in two heat levels, hot and hotter! The "tacos al pastor" are my go-to and never disappoint. The outdoor area is very nice in the spring and fall.

The chicken fajitas were amazing. Chips and salsa great. The yellow sauce was on fire. Great stuff. Staff was friendly. Nice little Mexican joint.

I've been to Ecuador, Columbia, Honduras, Puerto Rico, in the Rockies with authentic Spanish persons, and Spain, and here is my opinion of Los Taquitos De Puebla: really great food!

A hole in the wall.... sometimes that is where you need to go, and find the real food. Yes, the portions are gigante; bring your appetite, or leave with extra food. However, you will not be disappointed!

A definite, must come here to have some great food!

Amazing and authentic Mexican. Very affordable, I had the chicken tinga quesadilla with Oaxaca cheese. Simple presentation but delicious lunch. Chips came to the table with two house made salsas (green tomatillo and red chile) both were delicious. (Red was quite spicy but good!)

My Vegetarian Taco Salad was delicious, the ingredients were fresh. Also, the service was great. I will definitely return and tell my friends.

This place is truly a gem! I worked in new castle, 5 min down the street from here for almost 6 years and never even stepped foot in the "hole on the wall" restaurant. My colleagues finally made me try it and MAN I AM DISAPOINTED I DIDNT TRY IT SOONER!!! Great food and great service!!

By far one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in the US. What they lack in appearance they make up with amazingly delicious food and great prices! Be careful with the hot sauce, may surprise you!
