Farmers Insurance - Robert Byrd

First time getting Home Insurance after looking around, I was extremely nervous on what to expect. This experience was literally the best interaction I have ever experienced in customer service. Made me feel at ease and like I was speaking to family. Extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, awesome disposition, I can now breathe easily knowing my home is insured. Literally stress free, transparent, and absolutely charming!! Definitely recommending Anthony to everyone for policies!! Best agent ever!!

Robert Byrd is a great agent and his office staff gives wonderful customer service. Completely happy with Farmers :)

Really nice lady

I had to take care of my mom's financial things after she got ill. I found she had no house insurance. She had apparently had 2 companies that had her house covered and they both cancelled from non payment. I scrambled with farmers and to get away from Allstate, that was automatically deducting for car insurance. Got the quote from farmers for the cars and the house and started them both with a monthly down payment. I asked at the time if I could pay in total once I figure out how much was in the bank and they said yes. They did not inform me that if I started with the monthly payment, that even if I paid the whole year in a couple weeks, that it would cost me at least 200 more. I found my mom had her cars insured with a second insurance company and it was already paid for till August, this was the beginning of March. That payment total was 300 less than farmers, so I decided to take the cars off farmers. They said it would go up a few hundred because of the cars being taken off. I figured it would equal out. Boy was I wrong! The original house quote was 1407 after the cars was taken off it was 1700. Okay, I expected that. Called to pay for the year and I owed 1978! I had already paid 238. So through it all it cost over 700 more total. I totally feel like my mom got ripped off by them. I did pay for the year, but will not renew and would never recommend Robert Byrd agency. Maybe another agency could have done better or maybe it is just Farmers like what Robert Byrd said.
I take responsibility that I should have found everything about what my mom had and didn't have before starting anything. Instead I panicked that she didn't have insurance on her house. Lesson learned.. Don't panic and don't expect the insurance company to look out for anyone but themselves.

I inquired about a auto policy with these people. During this inquiry (which was done online) their website froze several times and change my quote several times after it was given to me. Then they want to call me not once but twice in the span of 5 minutes when I didn't finish the Inquiry. The following day I received a text from them asking about the inquiry I told them their website sucks and I already chose another provider. Miss Lauren fielder then decided to get smart with me through text say "I'm certainly glad to hear it" after she was informed of the trouble I faced . 0 stars would not recommend.
