Marco's Restaurant

My friend Kim and I sat at the bar with Marco! We had a few drinks and I had a salad. Such incredible food and drinks, absolutely incredible service from Marco and the bar tender were so sweet and accommodating. We are visiting from Philly and can’t wait to come back!

We came to Marco’s to celebrate my son’s graduation from Endicott College in Beverly. It was a party of 8. We had calamari …fresh really fresh. No sauce needed kind of fresh calamari. Then for dinner…My mom, who is the biggest food critic I know ordered veal masala.The meal was the best meal she ever ate in any restaurant. The mushroom wine sauce was done to perfection and the meat melted in her mouth. My sons had chicken parm, a very large portion that was tender and delicious. I had a grilled salmon with arugula tomato salad with balsamic and olive oil that was tender and fresh. We had creme brulee and tiramisu and espresso coffee which were also just perfect! My mom also asked them to lower the Ac and fans, because she was cold. And without hesitation they did!!!Thank you! We really. appreciate the great food and service. A special shout out to our waiter Joni, who took great care of our party! We will be back for sure and tell everyone we know! Our favorite Italian restaurant in the north shore!

Based on the location, I was expecting a decent, but not spectacular dining experience. I was very pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. The food was fantastic! Our table ordered the Calamari (perfectly fried and not rubbery), and the evening’s specials. The presentation was very nice, portion sizes were filling, and the flavors were very authentic. I remember vacations by the food I eat, and this will be one of my highlights.

Came in town for work and the hotel is right next door. Decided to give them a try from the reviews and pics shared on Google and was glad I did. The space is gorgeous inside and very clean. I did not catch his name, but the gentleman that helped me was amazing. I went with his dinner recommendations and got the fried calamari to start and the linguini with clams and red sauce. The serving was huge and there were tons of clams (20-30). Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. He even brought me some more bread so I could wipe the bowl clean. If you're in the area and want some legit Italian food for lunch or dinner, I can't recommend these guys enough. Wish I was in town longer so I could work my way through the entire menu. This place is fantastic. The food is definitely a culinary masterpiece. The presentation made me even more hungry. The homemade pasta was some of the best I've had. They were busy which caused us to have a few item requests forgotten along the way. The folks that run this place are genuine which makes it easy to forget the minor mistakes. They definitely get 5 stars and likely will the next time I come here.

Staying at a hotel nearby this restaurant was recommended, and after eating here, I can see why. Very friendly staff, limited seating but you can eat at the bar. I would recommend making a reservation. We were fortunate to be able to sit at the bar, but the place was packed. The free bread was tasty and had a dish with 3 different dips to use. The food portions are very good, everything tasted fresh. Nice atmosphere with tvs showing local sports but not too loud where it drowns out conversations. I would definitely recommend this place for a drink or a meal.

This restaurant is incredible! We were staying at the hotel so the location was walking distance, the food was absolutely delicious, and the bartender was very nice. We got the mussels, Bolognese and creme brulee! I would recommend this place to anyone stopping through!

I want to thank Marco for seating our group of 5 without a reservation! We did wait a little while for our waiter to make it to us, but they were really busy and those guys did not stop. It was worth the wait! Also, I can say without a doubt some of the most amazing food and drink( not just Italian!) I have ever put in my mouth. I cannot do justice to this culinary experience in this description box. I wish I lived in Boston, but then again, I would get so fat!

The best Italian Food I’ve had on the North Shore. Brings the North End feeling closer to home. The owner is on top of everything ensuring the customers have a great experience and I can assure you we did. Will definitely be back!!

Found this gem by chance. They were open fairly late on a Sunday (until 10pm) so we wondered in hungry at 850pm and were served promptly. The food was delicious! Great portions, great presentation and FRESH. The rice balls were some of the best I’ve had and the lobster ravioli was incredible. Service was amazing, our waitress was attentive and didn’t rush us although we came in late and the tiramisu was top 5 I’ve had yet! Cannot wait to come back to Marco’s.

Amazing Italian food with a nice modern atmosphere. Make sure to get reservations if it’s a weekend as it’s not a huge location and they fill up ! Their aranchinis are delicious and crispy (make sure to ask for extra sauce as it’s delicious). I got this chicken broccoli and fussili and it was a 10/10. Filled with flavor and perfectly cooked pasta with amazing chicken and broccoli. You definitely need to ask for more bread to clean the plate once you finish. The creme brûlée for dessert was also amazing and full of flavor. Will be back !

I stopped here with my family on our way out of town. The food and service was phenomenal. The service was amazing, with the owner being very involved, welcoming and supportive of his team. I would highly recommend eating here even if you have dietary restrictions or accommodations!

One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the north shore. It can get pretty busy and the service does get slower especially when they open up the patio. But the food is always great so it’s worth the wait.

Hidden in a mini mall on Route 1 in Peabody, Marco's was an absolute delight. The food wasn't overly salted so you could actually TASTE it which was refreshing. The young bartender was professional yet warm. The atmosphere was inviting. Excellent experience.

Went to Marco's with family for my birthday.
It is my favorite place for chicken Parmesan.
The other dishes were lasagna, veal Parmesan, pizza and niocchi.Everyone was very satisfied.The server was very nice and efficient.

So delicious. Great lemoncello martinis and delicious lemoncello cake. Fabulous hand made bread, I just can't say enough good things.

We had dinner at this restaurant, just in front of our hotel. We’re Italian, so don’t use to eat at Italian restaurants, but this time we wanted to try this one and honestly everything was good! Fried calamari were delicious, same for linguine alle vongole and gnocchi al pesto. Workers are friendly, the place is clean and nice.

If you are in this area it is a can’t miss Authentic Italian restaurant. Everyone was amazing from our bus boy Kevin to our server. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience this weekend all around: service was attentive and polite, the food tasted homemade and extremely fresh plus the portion sizes were generous to say the least! Real Italian food. Food was flavorful and there was a decent variety of options on the menu. Prices were very fair. Bathrooms and building in general were very clean and sanitary. The tiramisu was the dessert pick that I usually end up kicking myself for (because it’s usually American dry sponge cake-ified not like real creamy/custardy texture) but they did it right and it was so fresh and the homemade love was felt. Very relieved. Top to bottom was a fantastic place.

The only thing to note is that for first timers who can’t drive well in the dark (hehe but I bet we aren’t the only ones!!!) it is very VERY easy to miss your entrance and start doing loops of the hotels around because the entrance is NOT lighted nor is there a sign. It looks like you are going to have to drive up the side of a hill covered in mulch but in reality it is the only entrance/exit there is. In daylight you wouldn’t have a problem, but now that it’s dark at 4:30 and we are well… not night drivers 😛🙃 you are warned until they do something about that. But we aren’t counting it against them, they are easy to miss but definitely something you don’t want to miss!!!

Great food, service and selections. Flew in for a wedding and found this gem. Lentil soup, Caesar salad and a delicious stuffed calamari with white beans, italian sausage, broccoli rabe so tasty.
Everyone was so friendly and always with a smile. After a long day of travel it was a pleasure to sit down to a "home cooked" meal.
