Huckleberry's Catfish Buffet

Fun place to get your eat on, buffet style catfish. Food is very flavorful and plentiful. They have cinnamon rolls the size of softballs. Bread pudding dessert was great also.

This hidden gem is worth the time and/or drive. We arrived just after they opened on Sunday. There is a long hall for the times when they are busy. You pay as you enter (military and senior discounts). The buffet starts immediately. Lots of southern fried choices. A very reasonable price for the quality and amount of the food. The dining area was clean and spacious. Keep in mind there is a line waiting for their delicious cinnamon rolls.

Restaurant is a buffet. You pay, then get in line to get your own food. Everything was so good. Fried shrimp, catfish, catfish steaks, BBQ ribs, potato salad was amazing. The cinnamon rolls were as big as my dinner plate. Great food.

On 3/1/24 was my very first visit to this hidden gem 💎 of restaurant everything was absolutely delicious and when I, said everything is everything on their menu is great and the desserts OMG that giant cinnamon roll is to literally die for which you will from food comma LOL!

Price is super reasonable for everything you get to eat here, cat fish, rib’s, fried chicken, everything on their buffet is outstanding,.

Kudos to the administration for keeping this restaurant going, and to all their staff very pleasant people working there,

The crayfish ettouffee was excellent! I wish I had ordered more to take home. The catfish actually tasted like catfish unlike other restaurants who claim their fish is catfish.

I must say the food was excellent. Being a OTR I have seen and dined at most tasteless artery blocking eateries the roads have to offer.
Take it as the gospel the meal was prepared...not fixed. Just as it came from my grandmother's kitchen.

Great food and friendly staff. My only complaint would be the boiled shrimp. To me, they had a bit of an off taste. I’m not sure if it’s a refrigeration issue or something in the seasoning, but that’s okay. I didn’t come for the boiled shrimp. I would still give it a solid 5 stars. I will definitely be back again

First time and I will be going back for more visits. The food was very good. People seemed very nice

This place here was a find. if you like catfish and want all you can eat, this is the place. They do have other stuff it's a buffet, but their catfish steaks were awesome.

All you can eat buffet shrimp and catfish and chicken and ribs and it is always good every time I have eaten here

This is a great place for kids and adults of all ages. The food was great . And if you don't care for fish, they have bbq ribs and fried chicken. Have tried it all and have no complaints. Sometimes, the wait to get seated is long. But,well worth it.
This a buffet style restaurant. Enjoy we did.

All of the food was hot and seasoned perfectly. Large selection of food and that was wonderful. Can't wait to eat there again.

9 out of 10 times I've gone here and had a great experience, with the food at least. Most of the time (since their hours are very limited) the line would be astronomical and wait times were horrible. And when there's so many people the food is terrible, since they have to put it out so fast. Undercooked fried shrimp is common on these very busy days. But I don't fault the restaurant for that. They're doing their best and it's an amazing place to eat. Worth the price, which is hefty. The cinnamon rolls are the bomb.com.

We went there yesterday as a part of my parents 50th anniversary. The catfish was amazing and the staff took really good care of us! I appreciate the restaurant taking our reservation seriously and roping off a section of the place. I would say that was the best catfish I have ever had and the hush puppies were crisp and full of flavor. Would definitely go back if I am in the area. We are from south Texas and there aren't really any catfish houses. It seems like the locals like it as well because when they opened at 4 there was already a line.

Truly an amazing collection of wonderful food! The only downside to my experience was the massive thunderstorm outside the restaurant that produced the F-4 tornado in Mississippi 😳

Food is fantastic!!! The wait staff was very attentive even though they had a full house!!! The line to eat/grab buffet was long but after tasting the food I understood why!!! Overall, best food I’ve had in a long time!!! Esta de lujo papa!!! Saludos cordiales desde el valle de Texas!!!

Only got to go here a few times as a kid, as a special treat. Now that I'm grown, with a kid of my own, who's favorite food happens to be catfish, its the best. We frequent a few times a month, and its been great every time. Fresh, hot, and clean. Catfish fillets and baked beans are my personal favorite.
