I can’t say enough good things about Arkansas Children’s. We live about an hour south of this hospital and will 100% make the drive every time over going to a local hospital. Including driving 2 hours and getting dinner, our ER trip took 4 hours. They are professional and efficient.

From our consult 10 days ago to our outpatient ENT procedure today, I cannot say enough good things about our ACH ENT experience. Our consult two weeks ago with our ENT, APRN Valerie, was thorough, professional and personable. We never felt rushed and all of our questions were answered in full. She was excellent with our young child and it was a good consultation all-around. Today’s procedure went just as well— from a short check-in to timely pre-op/procedure, we were never left waiting and everything was well-communicated. Dr. Amos (surgeon), Dr. Beck (anesthesiology), specialist Sarah, and nurse Bethany were an incredible team and my expectations were beyond exceeded with how comfortable they made both our child and us.

I absolutely recommend utilizing ACH, if it’s an option, because it’s truly a kid-centric facility and team.

Our only other experience with ACH has been utilizing their ER for our infant (with RSV), and we were impressed again with their short wait time, effective communication and thorough evaluation.

I’ve been to the ER several times and the staff has always been amazing! 1 of my children had to have surgery here and the whole experience was so good. Very good with kids. I will take my kids there every time.

Love Childrens of NWA. The nurses are very caring in the ER. We have had multiple surgeries there with only the very best care and we see urology every year with Dr. Patel and he is fantastic at his job.

Phenomenal care, staff, medical professionals, and hospitality. I have experienced an outpatient surgery and a three day virus stay with my two sons, both of which my family were treated like royalty. So glad to have this hospital in NWA!!

What a beautiful place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall good experience (as much as you can have at a hospital).

There aren’t enough words to describe the tremendous care we received. From the time we were greeted upon walk in, the registration, surgery check in. Everyone & everything was absolutely top notch. The nurses being so patient and answering all questions making my son feel comfortable. The anesthesiologist explained everything step by step, what to expect, how the body responds to it. I am so thankful for him. My sons surgery went amazing. What could’ve been a traumatic experience thankfully wasn’t. Again, I am so thankful. He even came home with some prizes for being so brave.

My son had CT scan there. Very fast and friendly staff. Also, medical records worked quickly to get results to our doctor. Very clean and kid friendly so it’s not so scary to kids. Lots for them to see and do to take their mind off being sick.

In the last 6 months , we have experienced several departments at the Children's hospital. We've been to the ER, ENT specialist, and most recently, surgery. I want to give a shout out to Dr. Bower, the anesthesiologist, and the entire team of pre-op and post-op nursing staff that worked August 7th, 2023. My daughter is only 6 years old and needed a Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy. I had massive amounts of anxiety going into surgery day, not out of fear of the surgery itself but fear that my daughter was going to be terrified and traumatized over what was about to happen. I was literally blown away by how much care and compassion they showed her from the moment she sat in the hospital bed. They knew she was scared and they handled her with the most amazing care. After it was over, her PACU nurse took her to pick out a doll. She left surgery with no tonsils, no trauma, and new toys! The surgical department here went above and beyond all of my expectations and I'm so grateful for everything they've done for my little girl. ❤

The doctors and nurses are amazing! Thankful for the security even though there were a couple hoops to jump through. Can't say enough great things about the staff there! Dr. Dalton and Jordan, Nurse Cameron, Hayley, Anna and Paige and so many others that cared so well for us. We are so grateful we have this hospital in NWA!

My son is currently admitted here and the nursing staff and doctors are simply amazing! With suspected meningitis, they were very thorough and did every test imaginable to make sure they knew what exactly was going on. I'm so impressed with this hospital... Kudos to every nurse and doctor at this hospital, each one of you are a gift and a blessing! Thank you all!

This hospital is absolutely top notch. Our 4 week old son had to undergo emergency surgery yesterday morning and we stayed in the hospital for two days. During our time here we did not encounter a single staff member who was anything short of AMAZING! Thank you to Dr Mcvay and her surgical team, and to all the wonderful nurses and assistants who helped to make our traumatic experience a little easier to deal with. Every person at this establishment was so genuinely kind and caring. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in the area with little ones. You will not be disappointed!

Although the wait was a little long( which is fine, because you were very busy) the ER staff was very attentive and helpful to everyone that walked in the door. When it comes to our kids, we as parents stress and you guys eased that stress for me just a little. Once we got back, the nurses and dr showed my baby so much kindness and love. We had left another urgent care where we were treated so rudely. So it was a breath of fresh air to be treated with kindness while trying to help my baby.

The staff here was awesome, everyone knew what they were doing and how to do it. We were treated as you would want to be treated having to take your baby to the ER. The wait was 5 hours, but aside from the long wait time it was perfect. We will choose this hospital if we ever need to take one of our kids in again!

This hospital is a gift to our area. Don't rate it low just because you had to wait a while in ER! Look I've been there. I know it takes a while, but the reality is that these people give amazing care to kids and you can have 100% faith that when they get to you they are going to give your kids the best.

My daughter had surgery here and they were incredible with her. Absolutely low key and no trauma or fear for her. My son had staples put in here... He's a highly sensitive child who they worked with and got it done. Thank you to the amazing nurses and staff at Children's NWA!!! I'm so glad we have a hospital like this in our area.

Our 2 year old had to be hospitalized for pneumonia, we chose childrens for her. I am so glad I did. They were through with her and quickly went to work getting her well. They catered to us a family as well as her as a patient. Her care staff was amazing and D our respiratory therapist was amazing. Our daughter is a touch me not, D still was amazing caring for her. The cafeteria was amazing and brought food to our daughter when we wanted. Being sick and worried with your little one is stressful, but the staff helped make us feel at ease and took great compassion in caring for our daughter.

We had to stay two nights in the hospital they treated us so well they had a family room in the family room is snacks drinks COFFEE! They also had a laundry room for us to wash our clothes! We did not think she would be admitted and had forgotten her diapers they had diapers and wipes and made us feel like our daughter was safe and in god hands! I have nothing but positive things to say after my 2 year old daughter had her tonsils and adenoids taken out by Dr. Amos. Our nurses (Shae and Candy just to name a few) went above and beyond to make sure my little one was as happy and comfortable as possible. Dr. Amos (our ENT) and Dr. Beck (our anesthesiologist) were both great at answering questions and making sure the procedure went as smoothly as possible. If your child needs an ENT procedure done I highly recommend this hospital.

We took our daughter to Children’s tonight with severe abdominal pain. As we arrived there was a nurse coming out who was just leaving her shift. She was so sweet and helpful and made sure we were ok to get inside even though she was off work. As we came in, the receptionist was also so friendly and took care of us right away. There was no one waiting in the waiting room which is so unusual for an emergency room. They worked so quickly to get us moved into a room so I’m sure that’s why no one was waiting. Our doctor was Dr. Grills and he was so kind and immediately helped our daughter to feel comfortable and calm and took such good care to find out what was causing her pain. The nurses and X-ray tech were also great. The lady that took our insurance information was so sweet and as we were leaving even the guard at the front was sure to check on our daughter making sure she was feeling better. I know this sounds like so much but if you have ever been to an emergency room you know that care like this is rare and these people deserve to be noticed and mentioned. So a big thank you to all who so lovingly and professionally cared for us tonight. We are grateful to you!
