If you looking for delicious mexican food this is your place. I've tried all local Tex-Mex chain places and this is NOT that....its great food at fair prices. One of the Best in Delaware for mexican food in my opinion. If you want chain mex this not your place. If you want tasty authentic mexican food at a no frills place this is the place. Thanks Anna at Richardson's for recommending to us...it's now our go-to mexican restaurant....good by chain Tex Mex!

The food is good and the price is reasonable. Friendly staff and very busy during valentine days. Big store. Churros are super tasty fresh and cheap. Beef tong tacos are awesome.

Aureas consistently serves delicious food, fresh ingredients, and authentic charm. This casual dine in or take out establishment is considered a local gem of the neighborhood. Conveniently located off of I-95 and Philadelphia Pike you will not be disappointed when you stop by!

This is a hidden gem given that you have to go behind the buildings. Even though it was hard to find, the food was amazing! This is real authentic Mexican food you would get walking around Mexico City. The place was busy but we were still well served!

Great food, big portion and affordable price. I ordered the beef tongue brittos, the beef is tender and flavorful, five stars.
Have stopped by when passing by and they have been consistent. Good portion, good price.

Excellent customer service, deliciously traditional. My parents always get the cocktail de camarón, which they love. Are usually get a torta Cubana and a couple of tacos.

Been looking for good al pastors for a while and these don't disappoint. Plus the verde and Roja salsas were great. Only thing I'd say is I wish there was more pineapple flavor otherwise perfect

The best ‘hole in the wall’ Mexican restaurant in Claymont. The Taco salad is amazingly delicious. Warm rice & beans at the bottom, layers with grilled chicken and fresh vegetables on top. Tacos are full of flavor with fresh cilantro, onions, limes and radish . I tried all of them, beef, chicken and sausage. All are delicious! I’m happy to find s local place like this. By the way, Maria is very friendly.

Totally random find, but so glad we did! Excellent authentic Mexican food that is very inexpensive. Large portions for lunch. The torta was ridiculously large! Not fancy, totally a local spot. Servers were very attentive. Awesome meal and experience!

Fantastic experience. Food is first class. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food in this area, look no further. I’m currently eating leftovers a day old and food is still amazing. The salsa and chips were better than most Mexican restaurants. Try the delicious fajitas.

Amazing food and good service, loved it so much! Just know that they don’t have fountain drinks, but it’s definitely still worth a visit and five stars!

I have not actually eaten there. I was looking for beef tongue for the New Year Party. That's a staple for the Russians' for this occasion! Usually, I would buy it at a Russian store in Philly, but I have not been there since the pandemic struck. ShopRite also used to carry it, but not this year. I have called all the ShopRites in Delaware and nearby New Jersey. They were all out. After hours of searching, I was on the verge of giving up, when my phone brought up beef tongue burritos at Aureas Mexican Restaurant within five minutes from where I was. The server and chef I talked to were so nice and friendly! The chef chatted with me, described where they buy the tongue, how they prepare it, etc. And he agreed to sell me a package of beef tongue. Yes, I could have purchased a whole cow for this price, but can you blame them?! Here is a crazed Russian woman clamoring for beef tongue for the event within a couple of days and nobody else has it in stock. If she is willing to pay to satisfy her family, who are they to get in her way?! 😂 They have accommodated and I walked out with a two-pound package of already boiled beef tongue. My parents and husband were happy and that is all that matters to me! I will do it again in a heart beat!

Great food. Good service, nice atmosphere. Started coming here about 2 months ago and I can't seem to stop every chance I get I go there to eat, so go check it out!
