The Book Nest

This place is really close to my house if you have kids that like to read you will love this place! Everytime a kid comes in they get one free book. Not just the first time, everytime. They have so many kids books donated to them alot of them end up going to books by the pound. Don't think it's all kids books either. They have lots of books for adults! All proceeds go to a good cause. Right across from burrito day. You can't miss it.

The Book Nest is a great little used and secondhand bookstore! They have a wide selection of authors, categories, and genres in stock at any given time. They’re quite well organized, too, into sections with A to Z sorting. They are staffed with local university students, so their hours are limited to Th-Sat, 10-6 at this time. Check them out next time you’re in downtown Searcy!

I took my 8 year old grandson in so he could get some books. He picked out 3. The lady informed us that every child gets a free book so I bought 2 and he got one free. Love it and I'll be back!!

Yes, there’s the thing about the inconsistent hours, but it’s so centrally located that you can just stop in when it turns out to be open. It’s a good shop, and you can find a treasure with patience, especially if you’re a German-speaking theologian.

This little place is the cutest little book store. They have pleanty of options to choose from and a little reading nook.

Nice shop, but the hours on the door don't match the hours online. And neither match reality either, since I've gone 2 days in a row during open hours and the shop has been closed both days. If the shop will update thier hours I would love to update this review.

Drove an hour and a half to get here to find it closed. Saturday at 230. Hours say open 1030 to 8. Disappointed in a wasted trip. Tried to find a phone number in case they were just at lunch, but no luck. Might try again on the future during a weekday.
