RS Miles & Son General Contracting

RS Miles replaced the stucco on the front of our house with stone and siding, as well as all the windows. It was a big job, with weather challenges and they still got it done in a timely manner. The owner, Rob kept up with the work on a daily basis and kept us well informed. He made sure everything was to our satisfaction and finished every detail before asking for final payment. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and would certainly recommend them!

Redid siding, Windows and roof. Gave us a wide range of options for all. Work done on time. When they were done they reviewed everything and redid a couple things that I didn't even know needed to be adjusted. They removed our gutter guards to work and they got bent. They replaced the bent ones without me asking them to at no cost. They accidently broke a branch off a Japanese maple. Without me having to address it, they gave me enough money to buy and plant a new one. Nobody is perfect but when things didn't go right they were quick to rectify the situation.

My roof was done by R.S Miles within the last 5 years.
They did a terrific job and they stand behind their work 100 %.
During a storm, strong winds blew of some ridge capping and within 30 minutes of a phone call, they were on my roof repairing it. In the wind and as rain was imminent.

Minimal job for the cost, I think. I didn't get other quotes because it was a smallish job and this was only functional company to call me back. The initial manager assessment was good, and seemingly thorough. Crew was polite and cleaned up well -we just couldn't communicate, they didn't speak enough English for me to ask them anything about the job. They left one siding piece hanging visibly askew....not a good look on a finished job. Otherwise it looked good and continues to. It wasn't until more leakage 3 months later and another contractor that I was told what I had done was a band-aid fix with caulk. Of course this is all on my roof so I can't actually check it out.

They don't honor the warranty on your roof. We have called them several times and still no one has come out to my home to take a look at the work they did on my roof. I had to call another roofing company, who said to us that the work RS Miles did on your roof wasn't done right and that's why water continue to leak in your bathroom and 1 of your bedrooms causing extensive damage. Before I contract RS Miles to repair my roof; we had our bathroom remodel. I will never ever use RS Miles to do any work on my house and I recommend you do the same.

Tried for over two years to have a leak fixed. Will not even return calls. Does not stand by their warranty. Found step flashing was not over lapping. They installed the roof ten years ago.

I had a new roof put on 11/17/14 by RS Miles & Son. My roof is
leaking like crazy I have called many many times. My ceiling and
walls are now ruined. My bed and rugs are soaked. The water is
pouring thur my light. The owner will not come out or talk to me.
He has sent his employee that have not done anything but go up
and look. I paid to have wood replaced and that was never
done. I paid for a rubber roof that should last for 30+ years at
least and that is already leaking. There is No customer service.
Beware of this guy. I am 81 years old and I feel he has taking
advantage of me and did a terrible job.

This is a caulk will fix it contractor. They don't call me back.
