Ascension Memorial Episcopal Church

We have been going to Ascension since 2015 and my wife and I got married here. It is an absolutely beautiful church full of history. Brad is an amazing rector and there are just so many wonderful people that work or have worked for the church and so many wonderful parishioners. Ascension does a lot for the community as well. The Sunday School is great and more young families are joining. Ascension graciously hosts Education for Ministry allowing anyone who wants to learn to deepen their faith. Ascension is our spiritual home and will be for many more years to come.

The church and worship is A+. The rector is probably one of the friendliest individuals you'll ever meet. Very active church with a golf tourney in October, Harvest dinner in November and Christmas fair in December as well as participation in Habitat for Humanity and other charitable ventures. A true pleasure to be a member.

Ascension leans toward being a warm-hearted, community of practice in which friends join together, young and old, to cultivate through worship and works our innate kindness, aspiring to be as boldly kind as was Jesus and whose life, love, and grace lie at the center of our common life of prayer.

A very welcoming community "no matter where you are in your spiritual journey". That phrase is quoted from the service, and it's true! The Reverend is the best!

Best community for religion I have ever been to. The priest was the nicest person I have ever met.

The church is as elegant as it was back in the 60's and 70's when I lived in town and went to church here.

Went to VALENTINE'S Party. Very good. Lots of fun. Had music and singing.
