This is always our go-to bakery for birthdays and celebrations. Our family looks forward to it and has become a tradition of ours. The owner always goes above and beyond. The best desserts around and the service is unmatched! We love you, Cake Sisters!

Love the Cake Sisters! We love coming here with the kids on the weekends. I come here to grab some cupcakes and coffee. The kids would play some board games they have in the store and I will just sip my coffee, watch out on the beautiful waterfront and enjoy the cozy environment. We love all the cakes and pastries they offer here. We have been buying birthday cakes and cupcakes from them the past few years. Its defiantly a great hidden gem in Delaware City that we will be coming back for years.

After using The Cake Sisters for a recent party, I will never order from another bakery! The service was wonderful. The cookies were absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Everyone loved the vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes. Everything they did was perfect! They were so easy to work with.

I want to thank you for saving the day with my cup cakes! I was unhappy to hear that my cup cakes I order from another baker had rainbow sprinkles on the cupcakes that were for a wedding. You guys fixed it and it was so convenient located near our venue! I appreciate you guys and I will keep this bakery on my mind for my next event! Thank you !

It was absolutely amazing. I decided to order a very special birthday cake for my baby girl who is just turning 1. I knew The Cake Sisters is the right place since I love their cupcakes and saw so many good reviews. I explained what I wanted with images and they just understood the concept right away so the communication was so easy. And look what we've got! The cake was absolutely amazing. Very photogenic and exactly what I dreamed of and tasted even better than looking. Everyone at the party loved it. I absolutely recommend it.

We needed a last minute cake for my cousins graduation party due to planning difficulties and the cake sisters made us a wonderful cake with 4 days notice! It was a huge hit and they were so lovely to talk to! I will never order from another bakery again!! Thank you so much!!!!

The Cake Sisters in Delaware City are a family owned talented and professional bakery that created our perfect wedding cake.  We so much enjoyed working with the family to decide on our cake decorations and flavor.  They made the entire process fun and stress free.  On the day of our tasting we experienced a focused one-on-one meeting to help us decide all the attributes we were looking for in our dream cake.  We were so impressed with the wide variety of flavors offered.  All of our guests raved about the texture and flavor of the cake.  Additionally, due to shipping issues, our custom cake topper did not arrive on time --but the Cake Sisters jumped in to save the day.  They created a one-of-a-kind custom cake topper that we will forever remember.  We look forward to trying more of their delicious flavors in the future and would highly recommend the Cake Sisters to anyone looking for a truly special dessert experience!

Always a delight to walk in and grab all kinds of goodies. I ordered my mother in laws 80th Birthday cake and it was perfect! Her favorite fruit is Strawberries so it was a no brained to order the strawberries and cream cake! It was a hot and beautiful. Thank you!

Extremely friendly staff who took the time to tell me all their options and emailed me the full list! I felt welcome every time I stepped through the door. I ended up with a custom cake that was delicious! I would absolutely recommend the Cake Sisters!

After being unimpressed with the bakeries near Middletown, I decided to try the Cake Sisters. Instead of ordering ahead to ensure freshness, I popped in and purchased a variety of cupcakes, cake pops, and tarts from the baked goods case. The case was well stocked and there was a very good variety of flavors from which to choose. Since I do not always plan ahead, sampling what's readily available is important to me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! My guests snapped up the business cards and took home ALL of the leftover goodies! I will absolutely be returning for more!

I order a cake with the cake sisters for my sisters birthday party and it was perfect! I sent them a picture of what I was thinking and they made it even better then I could image. Not only was the cake adorable it was one of the best cakes I have ever had. We did chocolate with Oreo filling and it was amazing!!!!! The Oreo filling is so delicious and a must get for any Oreo fan! They were so sweet and the price of the cake was great! I will be getting all my future cakes here for any event I have. My cousin had a birthday party for her daughter and after tasting the cake I had to have it for my birthday! My husband suprised me the day after with this gorgeous most delicious cake I ever had!!! I will not be using another bakery! They are the best!!!
