Seriously great Italian food in SLC!

Fantastic food, staff, service, atmosphere. I’ve had a number of items on the menu and they have all been great.

Their seasonal toast is always a must-order item for me. In fact, I would come here and just order that if you need a filling snack (easily a shareable item for two or three if part of a broader meal).

This place was elegant. When you think of Classic Italian romantic dinner this place was spot on. The wine and beer list was all from Italy. The menu was piece meal so you had to decide if you wanted to pay for bread and sides or just enjoy the main dishes.

The staff was friendly and available but not overly attentive. Which was perfect. Our waiter, Luke was very professional and did a fantastic job.

Definitely make a reservation for seating since they are very busy. Plus parking is at the Gateway so you may want to arrive a bit early to park.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Everyone should go at least once! The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing, and romantic. It's beautifully decorated and has a very calm, romantic lighting. The service is phenomenal! From the front hostess to waiter and manager, all very kind, helpful, pleasant people. The food is absolutely incredible! We started with some delicious cocktails and the bread service. We chose the baguette (delicious) with Ricotta ( whipped and features fresh herbs and a drizzle of honey) and the burrata (perfect amount of salt), so good! My husband also really enjoyed the butter they bring with it as well!
For dinner, my husband ordered the Spicy Rigatoni and loved it! The real star of the show is surprisingly the Roasted Lemon Chicken... I know.. at the Italian place, and I didn't get homemade pasta. My husband and I could not get over how insanely delicious it was! The chicken is moist and delicious inside and beautifully crispy on the outside. The flavors and sauce on it are what take it to the next level! It is so good!
It is one of my favorite places I think I've been. I am planning to take some of my upscale family here to dine because I know they'd appreciate it! It is a higher price upscale place but totally worth every penny!!
(On the food pictures, I did brighten them up some hard to picture with lighting inside.)

Damn. Those were the words I had at the first bite of the BREAD. My fiance and I started our meal with a baguette and handmade burrata, whipped ricotta with local honey, butter, and olive oil. Every single one of those was delicious. The ricotta was just sweet enough to give you a wonderful feeling. The burrata was fresh, it tasted fresh, it left my mouth feeling refreshed after having some ricotta prior to it, a palette cleanser, almost. The texture was fantastic, and I can't wait to have it again. The butter is worth talking about, incredibly creamy, and I wish I had this butter at home! A great start to the dinner.

We both had different plates. She had the gnocchi, and I had the spicy rigatoni. I'll talk briefly about the gnocchi, it was a delicate puff of flavor, it melted in your mouth with a wonderful aroma and texture if the prosciutto cream sauce. Creamy with a little bite of texture. It was divine.

I had the Spicy Rigatoni, the first bite was an explosion of flavor, and spice! Not enough places do spice well in SLC, like, this actually has a little heat to it. The Calabrian sausage was perfect, a wonderful contrast in texture to the creamy and spicy sauce. I was so happy to be transported to a blissful place in my mind upon finishing this dish. I would highly recommend for an incredibly flavorful and spicy pasta dish.

We had a mousse for dessert, white chocolate, macadamia nuts, it was light, and just sweet enough to finish off this beautiful dinner. I'll have to try it again next time to get a better understanding of this dessert.

Now, the food was excellent, definitely at the top of SLC's Italian scene, and what made it better was the beautiful ambiance, low warm lighting to ensure you feel the intimacy of this place. Our waiter, Luke, was very welcoming and kind, we really appreciated his suggestions and attentiveness. The bus boy, Carlos was a gentleman, very personable and made our night even better with their top notch service.

I hope this review helps someone, it was a pleasure to eat at, and will be returning for another round in the coming weeks.

Loved everything about our visit! Possibly the best chicken parm I've ever eaten in my life. If you are a bread lover they have a large selection of amazing home made breads with cheeses that are phenomenal. All the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. My drink, the Jazz Smash, was the highlight of my meal. Alec (the amazing bartender) charred some rosemary in front of us before placing it on the bourbon drink. Was a fun presentation, but an even greater experience to drink. The aroma mixed with the tang of the drink was an experience every sip (I don't say that often). Highly recommend this place, and if you sit at the bar and are lucky enough to get Alec as your service you're in for an awesome night!

My favorite Italian in SLC. I’ve tried every pasta on the menu and it’s never disappointed. The bred is freshly made, the desserts are heavenly, the scallops are sweet and juicy. Wow. This might be heaven.

Johnny deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a party of 6, they were short staffed and things weren't flowing as they normally do...

That being said, Johnny our waiter stepped up and went above and beyond with ours and all of the tables he was serving.

Hands down He is the best server we've had in a very very long time anywhere.

To ensure we had an amazing time despite their short comings in the staffing department, Johnny compensated each of us with a dessert of our choice.

Superb dining experience. They hand make all their dishes, noodles, ravioli ect, ect.

The meatballs were so good, have a little bit of spice in them but the perfect amount to compliment the noodles and sauce.

The ravioli was excellent. Great sauce and flavor.

The stuffed mushrooms were pretty good, not too strong of mushrooms, but a flavor explosion in your mouth!

The peanut butter cheesecake was so creamy and smooth. So MUCH better than the CCF.

Definitely worth the wait and reservations to get in.

The business causal dress code isn't enforced.

Italian Graffiti definately lives up to its reputation. It is beautiful restaurant with fantastic food and service. My husband got the lemon chicken which had great flavor but was a little soupy in my opinion. I ordered the Bavette steak which was cooked very well. The onion rings breading was a little thick for me. We also shared the home made rabbit tortellini, arugala salad and a bottle of Daou. I highly recommend the tortellini and salad, both were delicious. Our waiter asked if we wanted dessert, but we were so full we asked what we could take to go. Unfortunately, the desserts dont travel well. He was kind enough to bring us a complimentary vanilla ice cream which was devine! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would come back!

Great Italian food in Salt Lake City! Was worried seeing previous reviews of this place, but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, and food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend ordering an appetizer, as they are all so good! Especially the carpaccio and the burrata. The mocktails are also fantastic. Atmosphere is lovely, overall would recommend!

We’ve dined here numerous times and have loved everything. The menu has a wonderful variety of creative and modern takes on Italian classics. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s interior is stunning which makes for a wonderful place for an intimate setting or a celebration. The quality of the food is wonderful as they make sure to update and adjust to what is in season. You will love your experience here and enjoy incredible food that will leave you wanting to return again soon. (We’ve already booked our next reservation!)

My new favorite restaurant in Salt Lake! From the beginning to the end, the dishes/wine was Fantastico! First and foremost, huge shoutout to the lovely Jaqueline, she was absolutely amazing with us and we would definitely request her section next time!
Definitely when coming here, make reservations, we did ours through the OpenTable app and even with that there still was a wait but nothing too bad; and it just goes to show that the food is really good that you do not want to leave which is 100% accurate.

One thing I really loved about the spot is that they had specific menus for everything from the bread to the dessert. While some may take this as overwhelming, honestly, it’s more efficient and more relaxing and seeing everything in one book.
I would recommend everything that we had but honestly I don’t think anything on the menu would disappoint.
The wine was excellent, I first picked the La Mozza Sangiovese but switched to the Tenuto di Arceno… mmm.
For starters we had the Oysters, mushrooms and an olive bread (the bread is fun bc you can customize your sides which all looked delicious and what we ended up with was fantastic).
For main course, I chose the Lamb Shank and my wife had the Rabbit Tortellini… amazing and more.
We had to do a dessert which we picked the Salt Caramel Budino (unknowingly, this was a popular selection as after we order I think I seen 4-5 immediately being served around the restaurant… it was a perfect cap of the evening along with the espresso!

Hey, great restaurant and service. The manager I believe this evening was a gentleman named Joe, he was on point with hospitality and ensuring the restaurant ran efficiently and provided great service to the guest. Always have to appreciate that in the folks making everything move behind the scenes. This place nailed it and I will frequent this place bc I need to have the entire menu!
Thanks again and I hope everyone enjoys!

Very fun atmosphere. Really the only thing that was rough was when it was time to close out our checks. Other than that everything was great! Food came out in timely manner. Server was great and attentive. Was good at explaining the menu and his favorites. Great place for a get together. OH! How could I forget the complimentary bread!! It was probably my favorite thing!! Make sure you eat some.

Everything was perfect down to the last detail! My server was Giuseppe and a manager that just recently started working there. I couldn't have and taking care of better by anyone in the business. Restaurant was absolutely gorgeous! We were seated right away, food service was prompt and every dish we ordered was outstanding! We had the eggplant parmesan antiposti It was very plentiful and scrumptious, the spaghetti riff marinaraum was very flavorful and delicious, a side of heirloom carrots that tasted amazing and the sea scallops! Loved everything including our banana tiramisu dessert.

We happened upon this restaurant walking by my son’s apartment a couple nights ago and decided to give it a try. Best decision I have made regarding a restaurant choice in forever! Everything about our experience was 5 star. Seated at a nice out of the way table immediately w/o a reservation. Had a competent and attentive server along with a visit from the GM to check on our meals. The drinks, appetizers and entrees were timed beautifully and tasted amazing! We shared sips and bites among the four of us bc we each loved what we ordered. Our favorites were the meatballs, gnocchi and lemon chicken. The cocktails were fabulous and made the night that much more enjoyable.
If you find yourself out in SLC and you’re hungry for some authentic Italian, or you want to impress clients or a date, Italian Graffiti is a sure bet! We will absolutely be back so we can try some more items on the menu!

Now we are talking!!! First class restaurant. You’ll need a reservation. So forget spur of the moment. Manager was super nice. Fit us in even tho we didn’t have a reservation. Very classy place. Definitely dress up a little. Let’s talk food. Got the pork chop on recommendation from the waiter. Dude! They brought me a side of pig. It was amazing. Light tasting, bearded with sauce and cheese, so good. And huge. Ala-cart. We got the carrots. Do not miss them. They are outstanding. Asparagus was good. Lots of parm. Sea food da something. Was a touch spicy but the flavor is out of this world. We shared a Caesar salad. It was enough for three honestly. I can’t say enough good about the food. Let’s talk service. My water glass never got below half. The one time I guzzled it down, the guy was there to fill it. Manager was super nice and checked on us a couple of times. Waiter and his support were spot on. Friendly and enjoyable. The place is upscale. Is well managed and the food is worth every penny. The price is high so don’t go cheap. The food is above grade and worth the price. Those carrots!!! Soaked in honey. Get’em. Don’t forget dessert. We did, now we get to go back! I’m not a wine guy, but they have quite the selection!

Swanky, super trendy establishment. Our experience at first was very unfortunate, tried sticking 6 people in a 4 person booth. We waited patiently as we were not able to even sit comfortably. Once they accommodated our party with a larger table, we had an amazing dinner. Hospitality by staff was superb very quality service and food was great! Ambiance was excellent! Great date spot! Or causal dinner with friends!

I completely recommend Italian Graffiti! The service was nothing less than incredible. Alec, Ben, and Javier made me feel like I’ve known them for years, really making sure I was taken care of (not just initially like many other places). My drink and chicken parm were top notch and even the bread was super satisfying.

Great food. A little slow but great food. A little spendy but we'll do it every year or two. My glass of wine was peaceful and relaxing. Thx Johnny!!!

Really is a high class joint! This is somewhere you go when you want a fine dining experience!!! We went for our anniversary and I had the lamb shank plus we shared some truffle fries which are in the pics, we also had other dishes but they are not pictured. The quality is definitely worth the prices and the portions are generous as well but make sure you're not going on a budget because you will not want to skip on any courses!!! I had to add the pics of the reception desk and bathroom because I am a wood geek and that is "Live Edge" MAHOGANY on the bathroom stalls!!! And that desk is a SOLID TREE!!!🤯 IMAGINE THE WEIGHT!!! We will definitely be returning!!!

Italian Graffiti offered a memorable and delicious experience.

First, location is good. It’s in the gateway so lots of areas to park and walk after a full meal.

Our service was top notch! Johnny was our waiter and he was accompanied by Alexis, who together created a stellar service experience. They had familiarity of the menu which was great when asking for recommendations and they were always on top of our needs whilst eating.

The ambiance of the restaurant makes it an ideal place for a date night or a girls night! Plenty of seating for large groups or dinner for 2.

We ordered drinks, appetizers, pasta, an entree dish and dessert and everything was flavorful and fresh.

There are bread carts that rotate around for you to order bread service and a dessert cart filled with scrumptious cakes. Tarryn provided a detailed breakdown of each option, she was also patient with my picture taking so I super appreciated that! 😊

I will say that it is pricey but also comparable to other Italian restaurants in the area.

Overall, I would recommend in reserving a table! I would say there are quite a few places in the valley that offer an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere but fall short on providing a great dining experience. Italian Graffiti has managed to provide both both and then some!
