Breakwater Fish & Lobster Market

Right off the road and have to order outside at the window. nice shaded tables with trees and the breeze today felt so peaceful. Warm lobster roll and fries were good. Cashier didn’t know about the menu when I had questions about the seafood bowl.

Wow, so good. Best lunch in Brewster for seafood. No lines and the menu is versatile. We got a salad, the ceviche, and swordfish wrap which came with fries. Everything so good and fresh. I’m sure everything else on the menu is just as good. I highly recommend the swordfish - perfect lunch portion and the fries were really good too!

I have been a few times over the last 5 years and they are still providing excellent service and unbelievable fresh seafood. I got the sea bass to grill and it was wonderful!

Another time we got lunch and got the oysters, shrimp cocktail and the tuna poke. Just amazing and fulfills your seafood fix you need with high level of quality and freshness.

Looking forward to going back for more l!

When you decide to pull the trigger on Fried Clams at today's prices, you really want them to be great and Breakwater delivered! Nice light batter and tasty. The onion rings had an excellent light, puffy batter. The fish sandwich was great. The grilled scallop bowl was excellent. The folks there kept the tables sanitized and they were patient with people trying to decide on what to order. They were nice people.

Delicious fresh seafood. Classic hot lobster roll was really good, liked the way they toasted the tasty bun in butter. Service friendly and prompt. Atmosphere is open air seating, very Caleb Cod.

We had the fisherman's plate, clam chowder and Portuguese stew. Impossible to pick a favorite as it was all fresh, perfectly cooked and all around amazing. You should stop looking for another place to eat and go here.

The lobster dinner was perfect from the lobster to the fries. It was so fresh and flavorful! The clam chowder and onion rings came in large servings and was more than enough for a family of 3. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and all around wonderful company. The superb food and serene location exceeded my expectations!

Incredible fresh raw oysters from Brewster. Swordfish wrap and cape cod beer were a great lunch! And honestly their fries were amazing 🤩

Went here for a quick lunch. We had the seafood platter, Fried Oysters, and a salmon burger. All were very very good. I gave this 5 stars and if you look at my review history I don't hand out 5 stars very often.

Very nice place to eat after a long bike ride. The portobello burger was a very good choice and had alot of flavor. The oysters were super fresh and tasted great. They had a nice seating areas with picnic tables. They also have a full seafood market inside the store.

Fresh fresh fresh. I had the lobster dinner...it was tender and sweet- which is a sign that they’re cooking carefully. Had a lobster at a certain outdoor waterfront place elsewhere and it was overcooked, flavorless, and tough, despite good reviews. Breakwater’s is an actual fish market so there’s a great freshness vibe. The strawberry shortcake was perfect. My friend had fish&chips, which I tried, and it was super tender and tasty. Nice outdoor seating and the owner even chatted with us inside about lobsters. Great friendly family atmosphere. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

outdoor eatery. A talented new chef is creating some wonderful new dishes. Try the Portuguese fish stew and creamy lobster bisque. Both amazing. Lots of healthy choices. Try the tasty fresh fish bowls loaded with healthy veggies. Casual outdoor seating. Perfect local stop for lunch or supper. Fab fried fish and clams and lobster dinners.Eat there or take home. Great fish market.

Very good food The people are very friendly. Prices are reasonable.

The best lobster bisque I've ever had! Big chunks of loster, great lobster flavor. A sweet heart of a family runs the place. The chef said it takes 3 days to make it! I hope I see them next year when we come back to the cape.

Fish market side: Good quality and selection of fresh locally caught seafood at competitive prices. Friendly, helpful staff are quick, and accurate with orders. Open until 6:30PM during the season, plenty of parking.

Restaurant side: we’ve yet to order anything besides oysters on the half shell, shucked, to-go. Which is actually a new discovery for us. Usually we would just order oysters from the market & shuck them ourselves, but after discovering we can order them to be shucked, served on thick ice in a durable plastic container with lemon/horseradish/hot sauce and cocktail sauce included - let’s just say sometimes it’s just easier to receive instant gratification, especially when it comes to enjoying delicious oysters from the bay 100% worth the cost. Highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend- what a hidden gem! No wait, food comes out fast and nice area to sit. Freshest oysters and food. 10/10! Heading back tonight after visiting twice already this past week.

Had lunch here a few times. Cute outdoor tables in the shade, regular Cape Cod seafood fare, but also whole lobster available. They also serve beer and wine. Very attentive service.

I was so impressed with the quality of the food i ordered! A fried scallop meal, and a fried oyster meal. They were so fantastic. Lightly coated, cooked just right, awesome flavor, and not greasy! Would highly reccomend!

Great food and nice sitting area. We stopped there for lunch and sat outside. We had lobster roll, fish sandwich and fish and chips. It was delicious, everyone liked their plates!
